  1. To be honest I don't remember that vote. Not sure I was playing yet at that point.
  2. I would expect Orange to try to expand his powerbase by selecting a hand that isn't me, effectively giving him two allies.
  3. That's not a spoiler for me. I know who it is but I don't know what happened to get to that. Nintendo spoiled the timeskip themselves with their later trailers. Kinda wish they'd stop doing that. I remember them spoiling significant bits of Xenoblade 2 right before it launched and I think there are other examples of that I've forgotten about.
  4. I'm in the Remire village chapter in Part 1 on the Black Eagles route, first path for me still. Taking it kinda slow as my wife also wants to see what happens and we aren't both home and awake at the same time very often. I usually work through the month on my own and save the story chapter for one of my days off so she can see what happens. I've been blown away by how deep this story goes and how I still can't quite tell how things are going to play out. And the characters are just great. Even the ones I hate are great because they all have a lot going on with them that can't be described in one sentence like characters from Awakening and Fates often could be. And then there are the support conversations. My wife and I just had our jaws drop to the floor after we saw a support conversation that felt like a main plot reveal and then the popup says "C+" and we both have to stop and let it all sink in for a while and wonder what could possibly follow that.
  5. I'm not going to explicitly agree to this, but I will say that my alliance with Orange is tenuous. I don't trust him and he knows that. I allied with him solely to offer extra protection from the rebellion, and for that reason the alliance helps him more than it does me. I don't really care to help him with his ambitions. He can't take my loyalty for granted.
  6. But really all these avatars do is remind me which game of political intrigue I'd rather be playing right now. So I'm going to do that.
  7. I'd say that yours does the same, but Byleth doesn't talk enough.
  8. Retaliation and Jeod are also people I consider my ally and will be supporting in whatever ways I can. Former founding members of the rebellion aren't very high on my friends list and they will need to do some work to gain my support.
  9. 0 inclination to be king. Orange is currently my ally and as long as I don't think he'll try to betray me, it'll probably stay that way, even though he's a power-hungry warmonger. I'll also generally support anybody who can end this game as fast as possible.
  10. Yes. It's like we're repeating the same argument because everything in this game feels futile.
  11. Maybe if you had kept hidden instead you could have gotten another mislynch out of it? Just a thought.
  12. I suppose, if we didn't nail the rebels quickly and consecutively, it would have happened sooner.
  13. Yes, yes, I know the necromorphs are coming. And it's going to happen at the same time the king is overthrown. It's like it was designed to happen that way.
  14. What is your position right now? I know you're probably powerless to stop this, but I've been under the impression that you've been working with Shade/Rubeci.
  15. I was referring to Orange. I'm the only ally you have at the moment. And not a particularly good one since I probably shouldn't vote against my new neighbor.
  16. It's also a reflection of our players, as only I and perhaps Sunflower have enough honor and resolve to stay loyal no matter the circumstances. Everyone else will pick to betray when they think it suits them.
