  1. But yeah, given that we have no way to attack the white walker army, they could just sit there and do nothing and wait for us to starve out. I don't really think this game is worth playing.
  2. No, the only part I missed was that the Granary increases provision income. I read what the Granary does on the forum posts, which didn't include that line. I didn't double check for more detail on my projects list. I decided being able to buy such a small amount of provisions for such a large amount of gold wasn't worth it, so I didn't build it. I also expect the income numbers that VERT puts next to our stockpiles to represent the daily income even if we do nothing for the next night. If that is incorrect, then things aren't so bad for me.
  3. I did occupy Dragonstone. Sending that force to the wall might be good, but what is the point if Retal can't feed it? That said, I have just about as bad of a provision problem as Retal does. I have a triple digit deficit of provisions each night right now. I didn't panic over it before because I thought it was just because I had 6000 troops involved in battle, but it happened again even though no battles took place. Just last night I thought I had plenty, now I don't have enough to go another night.
  4. Oh, cool, so we can at best feed the wall for 3 nights, and that's while not doing anything else. Awesome. Can we just do like Dead Space 3 and mass quit now?
  5. I really don't understand why you can't understand why your actions have been so detrimental to your own goals. I'm doing a couple things today, so I'm not sure I'll be back before hammer or not. ##Vote Dragonstone
  6. I tried to stop the fighting. I spelled it out directly and Shade didn't get it. He has shown that he will not stop. On the latter point, I'm open to ideas. Doesn't seem like we have much for options, though.
  7. Oh, obviously she'll be going after everyone because she will be forced to, it's just a matter of preferential targets. I've played this game before, I know how it works. Because of your poor decisions, they have that much more strength and will almost certainly win. In VERTi60 games like this, the player who chooses to betray every time is the player who causes everyone to lose the game. You are that person. You are always that person. You will always be that person. I gave you an opportunity to stop your selfish style of gameplay, yet you just prove yourself irredeemable as expected. Now, finally, your time has come to be destroyed. Unfortunately VERTi60 has decided to arbitrarily change what we're voting for today, "coincidentally" in a way that happens to help you, forcing a truce when more than half of us want your head on a stick. So your destruction will have a wait a little longer, but it will wait no longer than it needs to. Sure, you will "win" this game as part of the White Walkers once you join them. Such a win as that may be, winning as part of the faction that always wins these games. But in the wake your humanity is broken. Your code of honor, shattered. Your integrity, aflame. My reward for my virtue that you have chosen to betray, will be to see to it that you are annihilated. There will be no remorse. Indeed, I will enjoy it.
  8. Yes, well, I wonder which players Sunflower might be gunning for.
  9. Alright. So I have information that I think everyone needs to know. There are 44,000 unburned bodies lying around. We have the ability to reduce this number slightly, but the fact that this number is being tracked means that it has to be important. I don't think it is a coincidence that WIN was met at roughly the same time that the body count became roughly the same size as the Royal Army. I believe the 44,000 represents the size of the army that will rise up in this next phase. I expect to see TheIrishman and Sunflower splitting command of this army. This game was designed for this to happen. The more we have conflict, the stronger the final enemy becomes. That there is conflict in this game was ensured a couple ways. The rebellion was one, and the Wildlings are another. The endless rebellion made conflict inevitable, and the Wildlings need to get in the kingdom, which necessarily means somebody needs to be kicked out to make room for them, and they need the help of someone banished from the kingdom to get there or to fight through the wall. Effectively we're here to play musical chairs until the music stops. Now, the music has stopped. The setup of this game is over. The real one is beginning now. I do not fault Rubeci for wanting to get into the kingdom. Knowing what kind of threat is coming, him getting into the kingdom must be essential to his survival. I will not stop him from doing so, so long as he and his allies do not continue to attack loyal forces. I will forgive his prior attack on OrangeP47, but I will not forgive another. I expect loyal houses to respond in kind. I do have a problem with the players he has allied with. Shade and Louis represent the original rebellion and I am not so quick to forgive them for their actions. Louis needed to be sent to the wall because she had direct access to the royal army and could see exactly how many troops I had stationed on any holding. I think you can understand why having Louis, who had demonstrated to me that she had direct contact with Shade and was still working with him, presented a royal security risk and could not be allowed to continue. I would prefer to destroy Louis where she stands, which I certainly could do. I would prefer to allow Orange to destroy Shade, which he certainly could do. Removing the original rebellion would be quite satisfactory. But the thing that stops me is that I'm certain any losses taken in said battles would just add to the threat that follows. We need to unite against this coming threat. For that, despite the fact that you did not agree to the deal, I will still enforce the ultimatum that I promised before I got surprised by winning this vote. ##Send Wall
  10. I don't even know what has just happened. Someone explain this to me.
  11. I warned in advance that I would not help the rebels if converted. Stop with the fake tears.
  12. I can give you a chance, even though I don't think you deserve one. Break your alliance with Shade. You can continue to work with him, but I don't want you to have an ability to talk with him in private.
  13. If they are a threat to the kingdom, there isn't a whole hell of a lot we can do about it, as they control the vote.
  14. If they were to agree to send Louis to the wall, we'd have to consider that Rubeci is probably not a threat to the kingdom and thus Louis bailing from the wall to join him wouldn't be a big deal. That's why I'm making this proposal. It's a way to effectively test if they are reliable as allies or not.
  15. Nothing. However, her forces would be donated to the wall anyway, yes?
  16. @rubeci Indeed, I think we have similar concerns on the issue. Because of you and Shade being Independent, I don't like the two of you plus Louis having voting power over me when I can't be sure that you don't have a goal in taking power for yourselves. Granted, I did notice that you could have seized power during the last vote but chose not to in the end, yet you may have done so because taking power while Orange was still alive would have effectively been suicide. At the same time, it is unacceptable for you guys to leave me+Orange in the position of power because it would be possible for him to take you guys out. I get it, it's a tough spot to be in. Orange represents a threat to you, but is also the only controllable form of power I currently have given that I can't just order the army around as I wish, thus my wish to keep him around as a form of balance of power. Both of you can eliminate each other easily so long as I don't intervene but an assurance that I will use the army on either of you should you attack should keep everyone playing nicely. For you guys to accept such a deal would require some trust in me from you guys, and I'll understand if you just can't accept that. That is just how this game works, unfortunately. But that's what I'm asking for. Give up a vote, receive protection from me. If you don't give up a vote, I'll have to view you as a potential threat and will not go out of my way to help you. Remember that I have my own motivation to keep Orange in check because he is potentially a threat to me as well. If he starts to take you guys down, I have to respond. Yes, he did attempt once, but he failed, and he's much weaker now for it. I specifically only sent a small force to defend Orange because I wanted to know if he was attacked at all, and then I didn't want to reduce his losses by very much. He has now taken so much damage that he's dependent on my protection and is only a threat to me if he really wants to go the murder-suicide path. Had he actually succeeded, we would be having a different discussion today. I want as much manpower as possible to be ready for what I presume is a coming battle. Assuming Orange can play nicely, his ability should prove very useful when dealing with the necromorphs whatever the fuck it is this time. If he's on the wall, he'll provide little in the matter of troops and will not have his ability. Louis should still have a significant army and has said nothing about having something that would prove useful for defending the kingdom. I think we need extra forces on the wall, and I consider her the best person to send. And lastly, Orange is easier to deal with as long as he is in the kingdom. As soon as he's on the wall...well, I suspect you know better than I do about how well someone can be reigned in.
  17. It would seem as if personal survival and ambition are the victory conditions, outside of taking down rebellions if they appear.
  18. To answer something Jeod asked me about long ago, I don't see anything about any victory condition for me. I don't think I've ever seen one, now that I think about it.
