  1. To be frank I kinda want to be voted up and put on the wall, because I think the key to victory is getting out of the kingdom. Which is why Shade wanted to get voted up and why he wanted us to put him on the wall. But hey, a rebel outed himself, so may as well end it now.
  2. ##vote TheIrishman You can threaten me all you like, I will not waiver. Kill me? Great, I can go back to eating popcorn. I'm only here as a fill in. I don't care if I win. I don't care if I die. My expectations for this game is that the only person who really has a chance to come out of this game feeling like a winner is Rubeci. Everyone else was doomed from the start. So I really do not care about how this game plays out. Convert me? You think forcing me to change sides will make me cooperate with you? Trust me when I say I will do absolutely everything allowed to go against your plans. Some people in this game have already experienced this first hand in prior trainwrecks. I will remain as an obstacle in your path, to the end, no matter what you do. So carry out your master plan, and pray it works as well as you think it will.
  3. Retal, how many people need to be on the wall before a vote is held for the Lord Commander position? If we send Shade to the wall, one problem is that eventually someone has to be the Lord Commander. If we catch a rebel again next day and send that person to the wall as well, we'll have a rebel majority manning our defenses. Sending Shade to the wall now would limit our later viable options to attacking a rebel if found, or sending a loyalist to the wall just to make sure Rebels don't control the wall. Beyond that, I don't see why Shade couldn't just jump off the wall, after which I'm guessing to attack him we would have to use only the limited forces that are currently on the wall?
  4. Making sure that I specifically stay alive during a mafia game isn't my #1 goal. Even winning isn't always my goal. I have my own honor code that I follow. I don't betray fellow players, and I don't tolerate betrayal.
  5. Oh, that's right. Retal can only vote for a new king. But that changes nothing. One loyalist votes with Rebel-Independent, they get what they want.
  6. Recall your own argument earlier in the game that rebels would want to overthrow the king while destroying as little as possible so that the kingdom they inherit is as strong as possible. Shade is doing this because if both Rubeci and Retal join the rebel vote, they only need one loyalist to break away to get what they want.
  7. I certainly didn't think Sunflower was the Hand (because I didn't think the hand and Jeod would both send an alliance request to the same player) so it is certainly plausible. Her supposed role probably makes that more likely.
  8. I think they tried to convert Retaliation and failed because you can't interact with him. Or some other restriction was in play.
  9. You've afflicted us with your inaccurate opinions enough as it is.
  10. I know we can't do anything about him at this time, and I actually think we can keep him as an ally. I don't think he is the "final boss".
  11. Shade wants to go after everyone who can't possibly be rebel.
  12. Oh, sweet! Can we play an escape the room game after we've done that?
  13. Actually, I question how Retal's forces would be considered Independent. They shouldn't be unless he's chosen to abandon his post.
  14. Are you suggesting then we should just turn the throne into a turntable?
  15. You overthrow the king, the process repeats. New rebellion to put down. Perhaps mostly made of former allies.
  16. We're playing a VERTi60 game. We're destined to lose before we begin.
  17. Alright. I'll concede that Voe could have been converted to rebel, but at least I don't believe he rebelled himself. I also don't believe Sunflower would send an Alliance proposal to a loyalist while rebelling herself, so I have those two in my loyalist pile right now.
  18. I thought we had determined earlier that a conversion didn't happen, and you were using that as a basis to say that Voe must be rebel because he can increase army size?
  19. Earlier I asked if a rebelling player would cause the hand being chosen to fail. Voe complained right out of the gate on Day 2 that he wasn't chosen as the hand. How would he know he wasn't chosen, if he had chosen to rebel?
