  1. I saw you use #evileyes and that's why I mentioned that if you died tonight I could use it tomorrow, provided the game continued. Not a recommended action considering my reads. If you named your night action in another post I'm sorry I missed it.
  2. The same could honestly be said of #cower except that Retaliation confirmed you have it. Unless you two are in cahoots together which I x doubt.
  3. I don't need you to buy it, because I'm lynchproof today. I shared it because you asked.
  4. It hasn't been useful up to this point, but I guess there is no harm in sharing. At night when I am dreaming I get into character as Sulu and conduct missions to retrieve the bodies of fallen comrades if possible, allowing me to borrow the abilities that other people here have used in order to help me keep the team alive under the planets' hostile conditions. This grants me the ability to use their ability one time. The action is pretty restricted however because 1) the player that I'm borrowing the ability from needs to have perished already and 2) I need to know the exact name of the ability to borrow it. So I guess that's where Retaliation's finding and naming comes into play, and why people's abilities are not named off when they die. N1 nobody had died yet. N2 I didn't know any of Jeod's ability names, and Retaliation was only able to spill the bean's on Orange's day action, which was nothing. Tonight with my current knowledge I would basically be able to use KY's #cower action but only if KY died today. Something that is absolutely out of the question in my book. And if Cat5 passed today and I retrieved his body tonight I would be able to use #grimreaper tomorrow. If Retal died, I could likely use his #evileyes tomorrow. Again we have nothing on iLTF's actions so I wouldn't be able to use those.
  5. Considering that I think it's both Cat5 and Shade, Shade is an acceptable alternative to me for a lynch.
  6. I need to use this sooner rather than later to help us ensure the vote is on the right track. Otherwise we lose. ##pride As George Takei, it is okay to be lynchproof today.
  7. <quotes the post about fatal errors and rebooting>
  8. And here I am, thinking it's Cat5/Shade. :V It isn't likely to be Retal/Shade because Shade 1) tied the vote with Retal, and 2) is throwing a lot of shade at Retal right now. Here's my current case. I don't believe that he is an insane cop. Things have been way too convenient for that to be true in my mind, and the circumstances just don't line up. First off, Cat5's "night target" choices. First night he claims he targeted me and basically got a town result. The following day he all-too-easily was willing to go along with whatever I wanted as a result. I suppose this would have been to gain my confidence, since as scum, Cat5 would have known this already, and on that day with the way things were going, I was very unlikely to go for Shade. Second, he claims to have targeted iLTF last night, which is mightily convenient for someone who's not actually a cop to keep up the charade. And if anybody tracked him, well yes, they would follow him straight to iLTF (who also died, incidentally). Third, he hard claimed cop and nothing happened to him that night. And then there's the fact he's been "reading" Shade as town this whole game for what I see as not a super good reason. Everybody else has been just going along with this. In the paraphrased words of Cat5 himself, I'd like to put some pressure on him to see what happens. ##vote Category 5
  9. Well fortunately it doesn't seem like iLTF had the opportunity to use the death note. Do you have any good reason to suspect that there are multiple third parties, or any other members of iLTF's party? Or that there are any delayed kills imminent? Cause at the start of the day we found a death note on his person that burned itself up, which means it wasn't used. Theorycrafting about delayed kills and more third parties all sounds like we're getting into AUM territory. I'm gonna apply Occam's Razor here and say we're probably in LYLO because there are two scum members left.
  10. How quickly does the GM design them to die when there's only 8 of them? You suggest 3 townies can die to 1 scum's antics in a single day cycle?
  11. Before we all forget that you have the following ability, did the court find anyone guilty last night?
  12. A day kill could be town-aligned or mafia-aligned, and I have no reason to suspect KY was lying when he claimed bulletproof. My question now is, since GrimReaper is not a day kill, who has the day kill that KY is protected against? Would it exist on one of the dead players, or someone still in play? If it's on any mafia member (all of whom are still in play), why don't they just use it now to end the game? I'm leaning toward it being on one of the dead players or one of the living town players. As an aside, whenever anyone says "iLTF," I don't think "iLikeToFRAYDO," I read it as something else.
  13. @ Category 5 Hurricane I'm not de facto declaring you as scum, it's just a weird feeling I got and I'd like to see your thoughts on that. I'm not as concerned about the "cop wasn't targeted" thing the others here are going for.
  14. I think I just got home from work. LYLO at 5 players means two scum remaining. This I am certain of. I'll take a hint from everyone else and also ignore the fact that a third party died in the night. I'm convinced KY is town, and that he is not teamed up with Retaliation. I had a weird feeling yesterday when you told KY after he made a list post that it's a general scum meta, and then a day later you made a list post, where Retaliation and Shade are excused from being teamed with KY due to tied vote, but then you only mentioned your confidence being shook in Shade being town if FRAYDO/KY aren't the scum team. Why not Retaliation also?
  15. I know I posted this like a month ago, but it was a prophecy for yesterday.
  16. I got back here 3 minutes before hammer and by the time I got caught up it was 3 minutes after hammer. I don't think anything that's been said would change my vote, however. An apparent tie (I say apparent because I don't know what GrimReaper does) may actually be nice.
  17. I suspect I have ADHD so that would explain why my mind would get distracted by "needing" a CVC when we don't have one or absolutely need one yet. It's a good thread of thought to follow though, regardless of what I mentioned above. If Orange really is scum, then I'd be a good candidate to be his partner because my thing with the CVC was the only thing to jump out of the woodwork in terms of "saving" him. Retaliation would not be his partner in this case, so in my book if one flips bad, the other is cleared. Same with Orange and Cat5, I feel. I feel like even if Orange flips town, we can learn more about the remaining players' alignments than we would if Retaliation flipped town. And if either flips scum, well, we have a winner. I have my eyes on KY also for being very willing to be so led. If he is a scumdude, he's only following thus far because he trusts that his partner is not in our sights today (I.e. another person not scum aligned with Orange). If it turns out Orange is our guy, iLikeToFRAYDO could be a good scum team candidate (could be that regardless due to inactivity). Shade might also be a good candidate to team with Orange, voting for him yesterday to fit in with the joke stuff but not expecting it to actually go through. Shade's logic has been unusually on 👉 today. Unlike Cat5 I also have no problem listing out players and what I think of them, which isn't what I set out to do, but sorta is what this post turned into. It can be very helpful later on when someone flips to see in hindsight how they read everyone else. ##vote OrangeP47
  18. So I basically have the power to start a bandwagon today, and Killing You's portion of that bandwagon is going to be right before hammer....
  19. So you agree 1 for 1 with Cat5 about 1) revealing ourselves, 2) Retaliation's sus vibes, and 3) that I should lead the vote?
  20. Tentatively granted. Hitting the hay now while you take the night shift sorting the bales.
  21. I am overjoyed that you know I am Not Guilty, but I hope you will forgive me for not quite following your epistemic methods. As a natural skeptic I am inclined to understand my interlocutors' positions, so it brings me to inquire whether you performed some kind of night action that renders me thusly clean, in your book?
  22. A character played by someone I'm most sus of, switching to being played by someone I'm least sus of. What am I supposed to do with this??
  23. That sounds really sucky, so sorry to hear of these medical complications.
  24. After having played it internally for a while, it's hard to play public RidgeWar.
