  1. Um, what? Why would I have done a quick Google search of somebody that I didn't know existed? If you're referring to after Cat5 mentioned him, even Cat5 didn't expect Curtis LeMay to be a warmonger. And my role pm is not a wiki link to Curtis LeMay, because I am not Curtis LeMay. Your sense here = 0.
  2. Since we seem to have a lot of Americans in this game, and with you zeroing in on me, you seem to be hinting that you think you know more than you're letting on. If you're a cop and want to stay hidden, I urge you to check your sanity before throwing suspicion around, and this goes for anybody else who might be a cop too.
  3. Your process of elimination reasoning assumes too much and is unconvincing at best. All you're guaranteeing, FRAYDO, is that scum will leave me alone tonight. If you're a cop, or anybody's a cop, by all means investigate me tonight and clear my name.
  4. Yeah, and from what I understand, the code isn't in a state that it can easily be messed with.
  5. Retaliation, I'd hold off on spilling the beans. First I would love to hear from FRAYDO/Nodlied.
  6. You know.... putting myself in scum shoes, if I was a scumbuddy with Shade, I might ask him to post his newbie questions in the thread to mislead people like you. I can assure you I'm not his scumbuddy, nor anybody's scumbuddy, but I'm putting this out there so you don't underestimate the wiles of the baddies. I guess I'm also just really paranoid to be thinking like this. The main reason I think Shade is town is because I don't think Orange would put an obviously new player through that kind of gauntlet, even though Orange himself had a pretty good first play as scum. My secondary reasoning involves the way he's playing and talking, which I suppose is related to what you're saying about newbie questions, my paranoia aside. Shade's alignment can be revisited later if we run out of options, but currently Shade is at the bottom of my suspicion list.
  7. I think he's responding to the things I said about Nodlied and Mojoman.
  8. Well this one's obvious to me. He's rather not throw..... shade...... at the newbie.
  9. By "decent as town," you mean voting for Voe just like you did? Hmmmmm..................... While hilarious, I don't consider this a legit argument. You do have some good points though and I agree that Shade is probably town.
  10. It wouldn't surprise me if investigations and spying add to world tension. This makes sense to me, and it would help balance things out (albeit slightly) if daily additive WT decelerates when town power roles are eliminated. What I'm getting out of our numbers though is that we should redouble our efforts to find scum, as that'll be the most sure-fire way to stop WT from increasing, rather than allowing our PR's to be discovered and killed.
  11. Does anybody else have actions that adjust WT? 35 points for a nightkill is very alarming to me.
  12. Again, I can see where you'd get this but until Cat5 pointed out the coincidental connection, I didn't know who Curtis LeMay was. So again, it's purely coincidental, and even if it wasn't, at the time I had no reason to deny being him even if I was him. Cat5 wouldn't have suspected me even if I claimed to be LeMay, so the possible argument that I silenced Cat5 because he was "onto me" is a nonexistent connection at best. I'm waiting for somebody to pursue that argument though so I can get some more solid leads. Although... I'm skeptical of this, if you ask me.
  13. My first inclination is to look into the people that Cat5 seemed onto, as with his death, the trail falls cold. My second inclination is that the scum targeted him because he's a damn good detective and when they get a chance they'll kill him as early as possible so he won't figure out who they are. My third inclination is to go back and check out the people who voted for Voe on D1, although if i'm going to be honest with you all, I would have probably considered doing the same at the time. Voe was AFK and pending other leads, we tend to D1 lynch the inactives. It did seem a bit like a bandwagon to me, though, so this line of reasoning is definitely not off the table and can help us settle a lynch later. Well I guess, but in that game where you punched me and I was scum, I certainly wasn't playing very well to hide my alignment. So I have my hit and miss moments for sure. With you giving KY charting tips is he your new protégé? You'd make Chaos Knight damn proud since he has a true affinity for charts.
  14. Guess we'll never know what "calm" or "speech" did. Killed a world leader? Good going guys. When have I not been a suspect of yours early on? Oh no, not this bullshit again.
  15. Generally Shade, you'd be noted as suspicious for following KY's lead to vote so quickly, but I think it's excusable in this case as you're new and it's also the first day, so our leads are meager at best. Also who knows, we might strike gold. But I'd like to hear what Irish has to say before day end, if anything, before making a decision. How does it feel to finally be playing in a warmongers game, rather than just hosting it?
  16. (I know I know, he was joking, but still. Even a hint at lynching ChopBam?? Heresy!!! :v)
  17. Well, Irish did make a passing hint that I should be lynched. Not sure how I feel about the idea of bandwagoning so easily, but it is D1, so that makes it okay, right?
  18. So @Category 5 Hurricane, now that you're here, do you have any grand, gamechanging, D1 announcements to make?
  19. I swear every time we let Mojoman get away with a metric ton of shitposting, he turns out to be mafia. [/semi-joking]
  20. I guess town or mafia won't win if a serial killer or the like kills all of them off. So yeah, Third Party?
  21. I can see why you'd come to that conclusion. No dice though, as my avatar doesn't directly correlate to my character. I'm not much of a history buff anyway, but I thought the AF general would be a cool avatar as I loved playing him in GenZH, as much cheese as he offers (shut up Nodlied).
  22. So you are suggesting that nationality is just flavor? It makes sense, although I'm not willing to throw the idea out the window just yet. We'll need to discover some facts first, such as those gained by lynching and the like. Kam isn't here to nolynch, and so far Cat5 isn't here to reveal something crazy on D1. While that turned out to be an okay strategy last game, this is a different type of game and with what we know so far, and assumine Cat5 doesn't come and surprise us, I think we should stick to mafia basics and do a lynch D1 to learn what we can. For what it's worth, I'm American.
