  1. If you're wrong about Voe and we lynch him, that's yet another townie dead. Same with me and TheIrishman for sure, but I at least have some traction from his latest posts here.
  2. It's possible that one of the night killers will target another night killer, which would afford the town more cookies. Afaik they will need to take each other out eventually anyway. Knowing our luck though, that's not likely before town disintegrates. But I digress, my vote stands for now.
  3. Alstar - Pretty easy to cross off my list for now. He's a building (unlynchable), and he hasn't been nightkilling or roleblocking. Chaos_Knight - Lurking, gave some helpful input earlier so 50/50 from me. ChopBam - I know my own alignment. Jeod - ...I guess leave him alone for now... Mojoman - Pretty active, reading strong town for me. OrangeP47 - Lurking, not much useful input at this time. Retaliation - Lurking, not much useful input at this time. TheIrishman - Lurking, not much useful input at this time. Voe - Easy scapegoat. I'm crossing him off for now because he's really inactive, and I suspect he was given a role that doesn't require much input, if any at all. Probable Soviet. I'm putting my money on the lurkers. Probably laughing at us in the scumdoc. ##vote TheIrishman
  4. Since I attempted to discharge a weapon, they can also discount me as a silo.
  5. Also if you're just following your win condition, that is going to continue to be bad for town. We don't want the silos disabled. But I'm for asking Alstar what's up. He never claimed to be a silo, so he wouldn't be lying if he turned out not to be one.
  6. Jeod I've learned not to trust players that have their own win condition, especially in Verti games where they try to help town.
  7. I'll bet all my non-existent gold ingots that Mojoman is a neutral teddy bear.
  8. You certainly didn't help town yourself there buddy. At least I'm avenging my team's cop.
  9. Or probably 3rd party, just saying he's neutral so we don't kill him. ##shoot Jeod That kill was unprovoked and unacceptable.
  10. Nice. So not only do we have 2 nightkills and an enemy roleblocker, but a neutral party who used his one day action in hostility to town. This feels like that Generalcamo game, but I'm thinking not as many scum.
  11. Interesting. We've got some fencesitting from you, as you yourself have said. But you are also managing to defend Retaliation without getting too close to him. This quote is exactly how I'd defend an Allied teammate. Plant doubt in the grilling. Say there are some wild accusations on your brother without going too hard. Claim you're leaning one way and say it's because you were once in his shoes. But don't push too hard on it just in case you two become linked in public discourse, and you have an easy out. Garnering sympathy from "fellow Soviets," who are also just trying to discern the truth from the lies. Putting Alstar under the spotlight again. A half-hearted analysis on CK for content. Really none of these things by themselves would be too suspicious, but it's the post as a whole that is coming across as very suspicious to me.
  12. I am okay with waiting until tomorrow morning. Won't be 12 hours though as I won't be awake at 3am.
  13. Probably not? It's so easy to go back and beat up on me in hindsight, knowing after the fact that Alstar is unlynchable. But could we have known that then? There were 2 votes for each player. Where were the other 8 votes? Any one of them could have broken the tie to get Mojoman up there instead.
  14. It took me enough games to figure out that voting no-lynch on D1 is bad for town. Determining whom to target on D1 is still a weakness of mine. I knew when I made the post voting Alstar that it was obvious bandwagoning, but I wanted to say something before the day ended and I didn't have much time. I was also aware that observant players will understand that when I'm on the mafia team, I never bring such attention to myself as I did today on D1. Fair enough on your other points.
  15. Any screenshots that make you look good should be kept private.
  16. Also ##unvote After reading Mojo's posts again I'd rather try for somebody else first, as, in my mind at least, we have more suspicious people lurking this thread.
  17. To clarify on this part from myself. We know FRAYDO was an Engineer and we suspect there is an Allied Engineer somewhere, afaik. But "a number of engineers" indicates more than one. I actually hope this is the case, since we need help if one or more missile silos die.
  18. An opinion-change between D1 and D2 regarding activity, eh? Not a scum thing, just an observation. In fact, Mojoman, Jeod, and KY read as town to me. Anyway... I've basically skimmed through this whole thread again, and I've picked up some quotes. At this time, Retaliation seems a bit crooked to me. Nothing 100% substantial, but I'm taking his posts as a general whole here. He's asked a lot of questions about the game mechanics, most of which I am not quoting below, but it should be factored in. When I was new to the game, I made sure to ask lots of questions and I thought it'd be a good way to try to hide as scum while asking questions to pad one's own content submissions. Is Retaliation thinking from the scum perspective for the purpose of scumhunting and determining scumtells, or is he unwittingly revealing a scum alignment himself? A lot of words here without a whole lot being said. Parroting some post Cat5 made "at some point." Something about starting a debate. Why, Retaliation, do you suspect there are a number of engineers? Does the Allied team have an Engineer you know about, so it makes sense to you to posit there are Soviet Engineers as well? "I was going to do [what the Soviet analyzation exraordinaire] Cat5 did but I got ninja'd by him." Trying to associate and align himself with a known scum-hunter genius. Retaliation also fears lynching Voe D1, OK. Let's keep that in mind. You were worried about Voe being a building, and on D1 you really didn't vote for Voe because you thought he'd be a building, but the reason you stated was that he could be another explody-hurt-town-thing? Why did Jeod's telling you the stahp-thing is a common scare tactic persuade you to tell us you weren't actually afraid of Voe being a stahp-thing? He really could be an explody thing or just some other 3rd party poop-stopper, and his utter lack of content pushes me that way. He's also been a SK before. The fact Voe seemed hesitant to sign up for this game (he came to the thread only after he was tagged) tells me he doesn't have much time to play, and so now has a role that is really interesting but hardly requires any thread input. Maybe even no night actions. Again appealing to Mr. Awesome himself. Suddenly a change of heart on Voe? Scum would be confused about kills they didn't make. Hey, just putting that out there. Ah, good to know I'm not the only one seeing some potential issues with Retaliation. I know I responded to a lot of quotes there, but I thought I would take advantage of the multi quote button while skimming the thread. Retaliation again isn't a 100% case from me, but as I said it's rubbin' me wrong. See next quote re: easy mode. I suspect this is why the bad guys are so strong. They are few in number, but they each get a powerful nighttime ability. If the town can scumhunt correctly, we could maybe put this game in the bag through day actions alone. Plus the fact that there are Missile SIlos they need to kill. Yeah, I'm thinking Allies need to be pretty strong this game for balance. KY, are you telling us you have a gun?
  19. And just to be crystal clear that I answered KY's question, nobody visited me last night nor did I do any actions nor do I have anything else to report.
