Don't compare two seperate things. EMP mines aren't specifically there to prevent Cyborg commando's, EMP mines weren't even in the Original TS. EMP mines if anything are designed to stop vehicle and sneak attacks. Saying prevent nets from working on the ghost-stalker is like saying make it so Cyborgs should be safe from Disrupter beams. And and a big thing to take self note. Is that Reapers can't go in buildings nor can they go in tunnels. Unlike EMP mines which can be placed anywhere which can prevent a Cyborg commando from doing anything apart from camping a tib field. Once a Ghost Stalker is inside a building such as a CY or a WF he doesn't have to worry about a rogue Reaper.

when you got shit shooting at you from being outside their base entrance, it's easier said then done dis-arming mines in a timely fashion without getting killed. Right now it's so easy to shutdown Nods Cyborg game, or to hamper it. Nod has nothing on the Ghost-stalker. Not only does he do more damage, but he also has C4 and doesn't have to worry about EMP mines getting him killed. You could always shorten the EMP mine stun duration in favor of a wee bit of damage delt due to the shrapnel.

The infantry only maps could be made into low tech maps similar to Seclusion (Still have the 10 minute time though for them as they do on the infantry maps) or be made into unique maps where GDI could start the game with two mammoth spawns, and Nod have a larger base. (While still keeping the general theme and layout of the map) I personally love Drought, but damn, that tiberium field in the middle ruins it. Why not have it off to the side? and replace the silos with a Ref? and allow harvester re spawns? Add a town in the middle of the map with mutants. Make the overall map bigger. So much could be done with the infantry maps, with a bit of love you could make a mediocre map really good

Long as he gives proper credit where it's due for the assets used, It can't hurt anyone. That's how i see it. It's the same way when someone uploads a letsplay video of a Nintendo game, and then Nintendo force the video to get taken down. They don't have to legally exercise that right. For all intended reasons its free advertisement for them, and they could be nice and let that person upload gameplay videos. But you know, corporate faggotry often gets in the way. I just don't like it when people bitch and fight over polygons or who made and uploaded a texture in a virtual space, things like that. We're humans, we're better then this. He's not profiting on it, he's not disregarding where the MRLS model came from for example. And really EA techically owns Command & Conquer, so technically they could shut everyone's project down if they wanted. So think about that. We're only here discussing this because EA allowed Reborn to exist, and they even said a few years ago (Don't quote me word for word) But didn't they say they were totally cool with Reborn (And APB?) so long as you guys didn't profit from it? They could have been faggots like WB and shut you down for using their IP. Similar how MERP for Skyrim got shutdown and that Halo mod for Zero hour got shut down.

I for one like the fact it can shoot jump jets down with the net. Makes the reaper a lot more useful cos right now it's sooo mediocre. A good balance deviation is letting the Attack Bike shoot air targets (Which it could never in TS) but Nod needed a vehicle that could shoot air targets (GDI Has MRLS) IMO the Bike is balanced to perfection right now. One of my favorite vehicles -
How is it happening exactly? are the ranks going to be part of an overall balancing patch in general regarding the vehicles?

Can't you make your own engine? that way you can code everything you need into it right from the get go?

You have that wrong, you we're thrown off the old team before I acquired the leadership role, thus you lost any right to the teams assets. When I was given control it was to ALL C&C Reborn assets. Also 90% of the team joined us in the new TSR project and helped push it out to the public. We didn't just mod a game that was released already, C&C Reborn BECAME Tiberian Sun Reborn. What do we have to lose? Time... the amount of time that would need to be spent to re code the Renegade X SDK to get our assets in game properly with their proper features we could have written our own code in an engine that already has TONs of amazing features that are already in by default. Features that would have to be re coded to even have in the UDK engine. UE4 would put us ahead of the curve and not in the same (Why don't you guys upgrade engine's boat) in a few years. Then why not do this the way I suggested to you on Teamspeak? You are choosing to try to take things apon your self (much like the actions that got you booted off the old team) in stead of working with the team. You do not have a right to those assets. I've offered you a way to help us out with a TSR future project but you can't seem to understand that a UDK TSR would be a waste of time and could just as well be a fall back project. We don't want a bunch of our assets floating around. Maybe after we update our assets to new engine standards we can do something like that. But its never a smart move to release your current assets to the public. Even if its one Wolverine? Heh, i never understood why people get so fussy over their creations. Can engineers/techs disarm mines faster? Also can the Cyborg commando be immune to EMP mines? The Ghost Stalker is far superior to the Cyborg commando right now. Or make it so the Cyborg commando becomes immune to EMP mines at elite rank instead of giving him a flame thrower when elite and instead give it to him from the start, then least the Cyborg commando has something useful against the ghost stalker. Two infantry ideas from a different thread i'm throwing out here. -
50% less health. Cyborg commandos being immune to EMP would be a good idea too. Then 1 mine doesn't do him in.

But right now that isn't the case because i see people popping off confessors and other heavy infantry with a pistol. Like i said, if you're not inside a building and instead off in the field attacking with the pistol. Then you're just abusing the fact its OP right now and are disregarding that. -
Don't have trees directly in the middle of the walls :/ makes using arties and juggs impossible

Like i said, it's not a skill weapon, nor is it designed to be. If you're using the tech/engineer specifically to get good at the pistol then this is obviously the wrong game for you. The engineer/tech are repairers. When you pick that character your intention is supposed to repair. Not to ignore your classes duties and instead run off to the battlefield to 3 shot people with a headshot just because its a "skill" weapon. The nerf is justified spite a select few saying that its fine l2p. -
I'm just saying because if Riot mine's are going to be refillable, then it should be made easier to dis-arm them. It's Do-able for sure right now, but during combat its like impossible. Hiding behind your vehicle isn't a good option because people could steal it. And moving around to avoid fire makes it impossible to actually hit the repair beam on a mine.

No, the pistol is a self defense weapon, when you start seeing engineers in the front lines specifically to kill people with the pistol then you knows it too strong. -

Omega city is probably one of my favorite maps. Though GDI's defenses seem to be on a strong side compared to Nods
