  1. Hey, did you find the Exp Share yet? It's in Violet City.
  2. Could force level distribution, so if you get 10 levels from a loss, you have to split them between 2 Pokemon. Therefore, even if you only have one "life" left, you're still not fully prepared to make a comeback.
  3. His assumptions on D1 made him seem like he knew more than he should. He hasn't seemed concerned about how he looks in the eyes of other players, which tells me he's more concerned worried about being able to hold his own...which leads us into his complaints today regarding the proposed changes to the system in place. It's the same kind of behavior I witnessed in PokeMafia 1. He's not town. May not be Rocket either, but he's definitely not town.
  4. So you don't want me to risk being one step closer to being out of the game? Make up your mind, Rocket scum.
  5. Well, if the rule changes goes into effect before hammer and I can get my primary to 20, I guess I don't mind battling.
  6. The old fart at the top of sprout tower loves to spam hypnosis on me. :[
  7. I don't think Shade realizes that this change is actually very good for him, since none of us think he's town.
  8. For the record, since my opinions are spread across 2 or 3 posts now: I am for altering the level distribution to keep players in the game, since such a change affects all alignments. I am not for further adjustments that change the game because a player doesn't like their odds. Such changes would only cause confusion and cause faulty scumreading.
  9. The practice of altering games too drastically and asking for such alterations while the game is ongoing needs to stop. Only major balancing changes need to be brought up. Anything else is post-game feedback and needs to be discussed post-game.
  10. And of course you're going to lose to a Pokemon that has 10 levels over you. That's kind of the point.
  11. GMs typically run scenarios themselves based on the player data they have in order to determine if a change is truly needed. In this case, it sounds like what Shade pointed out does warrant a change. Although, it may not be big enough of an issue to be mandatory.
  12. I like it. It puts more emphasis on the crucial moment--the battle--rather than which player fights.
  13. But Retaliation completely ignored you. "Sunflower or bust" for him.
  14. Try not to let Shade worm his way into a freebie.
  15. It's painfully obvious, which is why I'm hesitant to mark him as scum. I think his partner would have told him to shut up already and we would have noticed a slight change in presentation. It's more likely that he's a chaotic town or third party.
  16. That's actually why I left him off my list.
  17. If I had to choose three players as battle options for today, it would be Retaliation, TheIrishMan, and Sunflower.
  18. Yeeeah, that's assuming it's something we want to give you. I think I'd prefer you stay out of the battles for the time being.
  19. I agree, multiple trainings per night would allow the playing field to remain somewhat even while rewarding players who adapt well to changing situations and hurting those who are stubborn enough not to.
