By the way, Voe only has 20 FP. Has he learned a T2 action? If not he's likely going to be slaughtered (no offense my Polish friend), which is another reason I'd prefer to face someone who's actually a suspect. See, not only is Voe corrupted, but literally nobody is trying to keep him off the dueling table in his condition. He's 100% for sure not Sith and the fact that the majority has him up as champion is concerning. I don't think I've ever seen town act more rash than today, starting with Orange listening to a vengeful ghost down to the current CvC.

Well, aside from what's been posted, I have my own reason for preferring to duel you. I think it would force you to use the best of your abilities, perhaps even draw out some dark side voodoo. I'm a tough cookie, maybe not s tough as Retaliation, but I believe tough enough to force a desperate Sith to reveal themselves in a duel.

I definitely won't be able to stay up until like 1AM to fight a duel, so don't feel like you have to be glued to your monitor.

I've already said that if it's the case then I would continue. Nodlied is still my top read for reasons already stated (I simply agree with them). But hey, if I end up dueling Voe, it could be fun to fight it. I'd surrender right before the final turn maybe.

If you don't see Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x86) or (x64) in your Programs & Features list, you can try installing these packages separately: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784 Once you install them, try installing APB again. The installer might then skip msvc-2013.zip altogether. Other than that, your log shows Exit Code 5 at the end, which means "Access denied". Have you run the launcher as an administrator and then tried installing?

Anyway, my decision to resign is not "needless drama". I have a reason for it and I stand by it. I appreciate the requests to stay and duel, and the comparison to Shade, but Shade and I are willing to give up for entirely different reasons. I feel confident in my dueling ability, but ethically I do not wish to continue.

If the force ghost thing as Orange describes it is true, then the line between living and dead is too thin. There might not be cause for concern at present, but it seems like a slippery slope with potential to get worse. Sorry guys, but regardless of alignments this is something I can’t support. I know, but iirc Nodlied couldn't actually speak to anyone, just affect them with actions. Ironically, that's the very thing I joked with Verti60 about after Shade's death--that he'd be able to be a force ghost and send players FP each night or something. It's that dead players can apparently still use their strongest weapon--their words--that I have a problem with. Might as well skip the death mechanic altogether in that case.

Finally someone gets back on track. I've done my part to help for the time being, and I'm super annoyed, so I'm going to sit back for a bit and let others pull their own weight. Should you see any discrepancies in my FP usage though, I'll be happy to oblige. I refuse, however, to answer questions from the dead, since if it wasn't mentioned publicly then they shouldn't be interacting with the living regardless of game setting.
