Well honestly i can't say that I'm "fluent" in any language other than english : But i dabble in C++ Java Html5/css php4/php5 javascript SQL VB 6 batch/bash RPG4/RPGLE As I said, i dabble. I'm not actually good at any of these and probably never will be.... I'm not a coder, just a PC tech

Valid point. However, the makers of the W3D engine are also the makers of all the original C&C games (those lovely Westwood folks). While this project is not on their engine, it is spawned from their inspiration. It and projects like it are thus welcome here.

Occasionally whilst on youtube, I'll find a unique musical thing. For instance someone playing Moonlight Sonata on water glasses or the Mortal Kombat theme on singing Tesla coils. These things greatly amuse me and I think you all will enjoy them as well if you stumble on such a thing. So if you do find one and want to share it with us, here's the place! I'll start:

Switching to UDK Pros: UDK is easier to use and newer, better looking engine It might attract a larger playerbase and devbase Cons: It would cause a rift in the community You would have to convince several devs who do know the "ins and outs" of gmax, 3dsmax8, and LE and have stable setups to abandon 10+ years worth of work and deal with #1 At the casual rate these folks develop (because they have lives outside this place), it would take another 10 years to get as far. This is simply my perspective. Now if you wanna give it a shot man, more power to ya and we'll support you all the way! I just don't think we could take it on as another project and it get off the ground....
