    Regarding the vote, recall that Jack originally claimed he didn't like the idea of lynching, but something forced him to vote at the last minute. And we've already seen him suddenly change his mind when forced.

    Frankly, I'm leaning more along the lines of a certain chronoshifting unit that can shoot.

    I have to say, the one thing that leads me away from that case is that I think Jack may also have told us how the Chronoshifting works, since he said with little evidence that the end result of the shift is random, which would explain why Voe didn't wind up shifted to the known land tile. Still wouldn't explain why Voe was the target.

    Given how Voe just doesn't give a fuck and how poor of a job Jack did explaining himself or even trying to get himself off the hook in the closing hours, I'm not sure about that.

    Voe. I need to go back and read Jack's posts, but I'm almost positive every time Voe was mentioned, Jack responded in a way that was supportive to Voe.

    Excellent, I'm glad that I wasn't getting a false positive read from Jack's indecisiveness. I was really worried it was just newbie nerves, enough that I probably wouldn't have voted him.

    Because given that moving is probably related to a scum ability, describing that someone near me moved narrows down my possible placements on my map, which is undesirable for obvious reasons.

    Not only that, but how does the unit moved to the Sub Pen move back? And what happens to the next one called?

    If you were going to move a suspected Submarine, wouldn't you move in onto known land tiles?

    Furthermore, I have to add that I'm still not absolutely certain what happened is I detected someone moving. It might merely be that a unit near me was detected because of the reveals over night. I'm not sure why I would be told that if that were the case, because the map obviously already tells me that information.

    Why would I bother Chronoshifting Voe and then tell people about it? The idea that scum has the ability to move is a possibility, sure, but don't you think it would be easier to push a case on him if it was found he moved later? Furthermore, if I was going to frame someone using the Chronosphere, I would have moved one of the two people who were going to try to clear themselves using submerge. The reason I know someone moved is because if someone near you moves, you get told about it.

    Your argument screams that you felt a ton of pressure over this, but I don't think the circumstances back that up.

    He could be trigger happy, but that's why I'm pressing for an explanation rather than just jumping to a conclusion one way or another. I want to see a little more elaboration on what went through his mind in that hour between hesitating and then shooting. I want to give him another chance to explain in more detail what he thought about, as right now what I'm seeing is not satisfactory but also not enough to really draw a great conclusion.

    Thinking about it further, what led me to believe someone moved might be something else. Information given to me suggested something changed, which I presumed to mean something moved. It may relate to what happens on the map, I'm unsure. I'll have to see what happens in later nights to get a better idea.

    Sorry for not finding time to post. I've been "Hair on fire" angry at work for a few weeks now and sometimes when I get home all I really want to do is relax. This will probably be a low effort game from me. If someone wants to take over my role, that would be fine.

    Well, the hard drive starting failing on Thanksgiving Day and I didn't get the machine back up and running until about 3 hours ago. So I was pretty close to missing this.

    While my four-year-old hard drive did fail, I do have several spares around, including a ten-year-old drive that my current ten-year-old machine came with and was still in the machine as a backup. I just needed to take the computer to somewhere that could get my Windows install moved to that drive. And that is now done. I am planning to order a new computer near the end of this month, but this computer will still do the job in the meantime.
