  1. Just for the record, that's underhanded and dirty. Knowing exactly who Nodlied is, I'd say he's completely trustworthy. Choppy's someone I'm not entirely clear on, especially after chatting with Orange. So I have to ask you something: The action that you used on Orange last night, did you use it on me two nights ago?
  2. I don't think it's Cat5. He was sounding the alarm yesterday, which we ignored in favor of locking down the notebooks. As for Jeod, I say we ignore him. We don't know for sure if you having opened your notebook will allow us to investigate him, and given that Kira has become an active threat, we don't have time to test this out.
  3. Personally, I think you swiped the notebook and passed it to someone who would do your bidding. Who that someone is, we'll find out. My guess is that it's related to the point drain. I got hit with one yesterday, and Orange got hit today, and in our meeting we confirmed that it was the same ability. I also think that it might have been someone who hasn't been in the forefront of the action. Right now, I'd say Mojoman is suspect alpha. He's been sitting back, poking the bear every once in a while, and everyone was either too distracted to care or cleared him on the basis of "had the notebook, told us, didn't use it." I feel like this may not be sufficient enough to clear someone now. ##vote Mojoman Anyone have a better idea, now's the time to lay it out. We've hit emergency mode now.
  4. Oh FUCK!!! Okay, looking at the playing field, I see two possibilities: Either Nodlied is Kira, or Jeod's claim that "Sidoh will take all the books" is a ton of bullshit, and he retrieved the confiscated book and passed it to someone. Personally, knowing who Nodlied is and how reluctant he's been to use the book, I'd bet that the latter is the case. I'm 95% sure of it.
  5. Personally, I wouldn't mind meeting up with Orange or Choppy to see what else we can come up with.
  6. I think he wants Voe to open it because he's more likely to kill someone (at least, between him and Nodlied). I don't think Voe would do it, but Jeod would try to persuade him, and really there's no telling with Voe sometimes.
  7. Feel free to do so, but only after this plan is enacted.
  8. If he doesn't comply, we nail him to the wall. Simple as that.
  9. Uhh, how does that affect CK, exactly? We've known his goals for a while. He's basically anti-scum third party. Yes, but she was using an alias, and plus not everyone here is trustworthy. And what luck, I meet up with a Task Force member, and we formulate a good plan. Problem is, nobody seems to want to put that plan into action. I don't like where you're going with this, but if it gets all of the notebooks out of play, fine.
  10. In a sense, but he's trying to beat them while I'm trying to work with them. For him, it's a game; for me, it's personal.
  11. No, but I am aligned with them. Reye Penber (my fiancee) was an FBI agent who was investigating Light, but Light killed him. I'm out to bring him to justice, and if possible, secure the murder weapon.
  12. I didn't want to do this, for obvious reasons, but you people have left me no other option. I'm Naomi Misora. I need the Death Note to prove Light's guilt in killing Reye Penber. For this reason, it was imperative that I keep my identity a secret. If I needed to, I've worked with L in the past, so he could help me out of the investigation without revealing my identity- but only once. So are we going to continue beating around the bush, or are we going to get some f*** work done?
  13. I'm not a shinigami, but I do have a one-time use escape arrest action. You can either investigate Voe and find out the truth about a problem player as well as lock down a notebook, or you can investigate me and get nothing but a giant middle finger. Your choice.
  14. THAT. STILL. LEAVES. ALL. NOTE. BOOKS. IN. PLAY!!! We're trying to get at least ONE locked up before moving on, you imbecilic cretin!
  15. Then we nail his ass to the wall, obviously. But as I said, due to his role, he's least likely to have that happen. I don't even trust MYSELF to open the thing for this reason.
  16. That other plan still involves investigating you to remove the other Death Note from play. Nodlied, just go ahead and open the thing tonight. You have the only role I can think of that might not be "corrupted."
  17. You're going to be flabberghasted when he flips town. That is, if we investigate him, which would be a very bad idea.
  18. I concluded it based on his role. And no, I'm not diverging it to sate your conspiratorial tastes. The plan is either lock down both notebooks, or lock one down and have Nodlied (I don't trust anyone else with doing it, not even myself) open the other. You have one, Nodlied has the other. Simple as that. And I'm not abandoning it. I'm amending it to include an alternate route. The process of events Nodlied mentioned earlier debunk that. You're pulling shit out of your ass for no reason.
  19. So the alternate plan (if we have a majority ruling here) is for Voe to be investigated (removing 1 book) and for Nodlied to take a trip down the rabbit hole as he's the least likely to be corrupted.
  20. That's just my condition, dude. Well, duh. As my win condition specifically states that. As I stated before, if we had to open it, I'd prefer Nodlied to do it, as between his personality and his role he's the least likely to be "corrupted" by the thing.
  21. I need to be holding a Death Note at the end of the game in order to win. Seeing as how I need to know how the game is supposed to end in order for that to happen, I'm willing to see how to do that. Even if it means forfeiting my special objective. And honestly, I was prepared to be investigated today, but then Nodlied and I got to brainstorming. Are you willing to let us in on your plan, per chance?
