  1. I can get behind this. ##nominate Jeod ##rocket Route 30
  2. Aggh... I feel like I'm going crazy. Shade brought up balance several times, which is usually a dead giveaway for Town Shade, but literally everything else is pulling in the opposite direction. Is anyone else feeling this? Negatory.
  3. In all fairness, it helps Town prepare for Scum as well, for basically the same reason. And, of course, Town can use it to check for liars (like in this situation).
  4. Please explain your reasoning. It's equally useful for both sides, and for much of the same reasons.
  5. I legitimately did, though. I don't think I've ever actually used Solar Beam in my life.
  6. Well, sorry guys. I just got called in to work AGAIN, so I won't be around to battle for about 4-5 hours.
  7. So, dark-types, then? I tend to main Fire and Fighting types, so Ghost-types give me a lot of trouble. And, I will never forget the Curse incident. Let me go into more detail about that, actually. The game is Pokemon Diamond, the only non-Gen 3 Pokemon game that I've actually played. I can't remember my whole team, but I know that it was before I started keeping Kadabra as a team regular. I knew that I had Machop as my primary because I was trying to level him up. And at this point in time, I didn't really know much about Ghost-types, and especially what can and can't affect them. So, yeah, bear in mind that my decision making was pretty poor at first. Anyway, so I'm running around the town with the Pokemon day care (I forget the name), and I see some old, ruined tower thing. I'm like, "oh, neat, there should be some cool stuff in there." So, I walk in, and I'm greeted by a Ghastly. So, me being me at the time, I open with Karate Chop. Does diddly squat. Ghastly counters with Mean Look. I tried to run away, only find out that Mean Look prevented me from doing so. Ghastly used Curse, and for the next five minutes I'm stuck watching my Machop's health dwindle away as I helplessly try to bust this f**er. Sadly, I only manage anywhere between basically nothing and literally nothing. Then my Machop dies, and I send in Monferno. At this point, I just want this thing dead. I didn't even want to try capturing it. Flame Wheel until it died. And that, Charlie Brown, is how I came to despise Ghost types!
  8. Probably for the best. I'm close to going on a rant about Ghost-types being the bane of my existence, but I don't want to distract us from the task at hand.
  9. Quick Sidenote: This move is pure evil. Basically, it does a little bit of damage to the caster, and then the target takes damage every turn for the rest of the match. Combined with Mean Look (which keeps the target from leaving, whether by running or swap out), this can be a real pain in the ass. I had to comment because a friggin' Ghastly used those two on my Machop once, and I basically had to wait for him to die because I couldn't do anything else. It's gone down as my most hated Pokemon moment ever. Petty? Sure. I don't care, though, I was mad. Alright, back to the game.
  10. Oh heck, I gotta vote today. ##trainer KY ##rocket Route34
  11. Agh... this is quite the conundrum. The only one who's had any active resistance to progressing the game is Shade, and I've already stated why I don't think he's scum. I'm not exactly sure what to look for in these kinds of setups apart from that.
  12. I'm kind of caught up. I'll have to reread the battles, but other than that I've got kind of the gist of it. Brigitte's still my only real solid read.
  13. I do have a grass-type as my primary. I suppose that could work against a Psyduck.
  14. You are quite a fisherman, which is going to get pushback no matter what. I'll let others speak on the subject, however. I'm still trying to get a solid read on everyone else.
  15. Pfft, it's funny you say that. One of my only solid reads is actually Shade likely being town. (For those curious, my only other solid read right now is Brigitte because she wants to progress the game). Why, you ask? He's brought up balance in the game thread. He doesn't do that when he has a scumdoc to voice his issues in. Sure, he hasn't really been helpful, but just from my initial skim it seems like his usual town behavior.
  16. Well, didn't take long for things to go crazy, it seems. I'll try to read up before day start.
  17. Did a quick google search since this sparked my curiousity, and I found this: https://www.futurescience.com/emp/vehicles.html The TL;DR version appears to be that EMPs can turn off normal vehicle engines, but they're not likely to cause permanent damage. I definitely recommend reading, though, as it's rather interesting.
  18. What's the big deal? It doesn't hurt anyone. Skype skypity skype skype skype!
  19. IMO TS3 beats Discord in terms of voice chat. There's more options, it's more compatible with certain games (in particular W3D), and it's just more user friendly in that regard. Which is why we still have it. Personally, I see Discord as more of a replacement for Skype, which is inferior.
  20. Well, yes and no. Landing a direct hit on an infantry with a tank is going to hurt real bad, but it won't exactly be easy to land that hit. Especially in an urban or heavily forested environment, where infantry and light vehicles can make better use of cover.
  21. I think so, it doesn't seem to be as taxing as it seems... although granted, I get called in more often than I'm scheduled. I can join to fill spots, but don't expect a whole lot from me. This will probably end up being the last duel-based setup I do anyway.
  22. It is. You'll need to grab the Red Keycard before going to Renhalo, though, otherwise the door won't open. Also, wallhugging is necessary to get behind the portal. The ROFLCopter itself is armed with LMFAO Bombs and LOL Rockets.
