  1. Alright guys, just to let you know, I'm going to be quite busy this weekend and probably won't be back until Sunday. So before I leave, I'll jot down some of my thoughts for D3. Going by flavor , the dark side "purge" ability granted to duel winners, and Voe's report, I'm inclined to believe that we started with two Sith, but another one can be recruited if one dies. This is, of course, based on the "Rule of Two," which states that there's always two sith; a master, and an apprentice. Sometimes, this results in the apprentice killing their master and then taking on an apprentice themselves (see: Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise). There's a precedent for this in Verti's games as well, in a sense. Remember how in Death Note, anyone could become Kira if they so chose, but there were a few people whose win condition revolved around using it? Similar principle, but with a Cult element thrown in. Building off of this, I think that's what the FBI is for. Rather than being a tension meter, I think it's a clue as to how many people are "corrupted" by the Dark Side, and to what extent the corruption has them. Building off of this, I think Sith have access to a more accurate method of tracking people's corruption. What this boils down to is this: We'll have to be swift in catching the next Sith, before they take on a new apprentice. It's likely that they intended to have Voe as their "backup plan," which was hindered by him being in this duel, no matter the outcome. If he died, they'd have had to start over with someone else. Since he won, their progress will be delayed and possibly even reset. Bonus points for him killing a Sith. Interesting. Care to elaborate on that last bit? That would likely fall in line with Jeod's reaction to the Force ghost reveal. They'd be celebrating their victory only to realize that there had been a bit of a backfire. Seems to me that Irish is definitely worth a second look, at the very least.
  2. Well, it seems it's going to be Voe vs Jeod... Kick his ass, Voe.
  3. And this right here is why I don't want Voe to be the champion. If Jeod wins, what do we stand to gain from Voe's death?
  4. My only issue with Voe being our champion is I don't really see what we would gain from him if Jeod wins. I'd rather put ourselves in a position where we learn something no matter the outcome.
  5. Personally, I'd rather put up two people that we could stand to learn from. I'd like to hear who other people want in the duel based on this line of reasoning.
  6. Actually, we might be better served putting Orange up against Jeod. If Jeod wins, we learn more about Orange and get an early idea of whether or not his force ghost communication with Shade is true or not. He's also someone with unaccounted for night actions, which is part of our focus of discussion right now. If Orange wins, Jeod gets his wish, and we learn whether or not his behavior has scummy intentions. ##vote champion Orange
  7. It seems like simply a mason that costs force points and may not always work. Heck, it's also possible that they can't replenish their force points, which would put further limitations on them. And let's not forget, they can't deadpost anyway.
  8. Don't worry about me, the pain is under control. I just haven't had a lot to say, and what I have had to say, I've said it. Thinking about it, I don't think Orange being scum would necessarily implicate either FRAYDO or Nodlied. If he is scum, I'd put more money on him following through with FRAYDO's plan while his scum buddy did the deed.
  9. Any volunteers to step up to the plate as champion?
  10. I mean, you could just lose in a duel and find out for yourself
  11. Ah, well, 10 + 50 = 60. Checks out WAY better than Jeod's BS theory. ##vote Sith Jeod
  12. Here's a better question: How much does it cost to track someone? The more I look at this, the more it seems like Jeod is just going to whatever lengths necessary to paint FRAYDO in a bad light. And looking back, he was doing the same thing to Shade yesterday.
  13. It's really not that far fetched. I think we could give this another day to confirm it by having Shade try to visit someone else, but it actually makes sense given the setup, and it's consistent with Shade's Force point dip. For all your interrogation of Shade yesterday for being certain, you seem pretty certain yourself. That and the speed in which you jump to accusing someone have my suspicions pretty high. I wouldn't mind putting you up as Sith.
  14. Wait, really? Hold on a sec, I specifically remember her having two sabers. Ahh, wait, I remember. She had a blue and a green in the classic Battlefront II. Herp a derp.
  15. Well, I guess I was right to hesitate. Oh, and I guess it's worth mentioning that I went for Wisdom. Kind of/sort of. The dentists in my area have this weird thing where you have to call as soon as they open, or else they will refuse to schedule you an appointment- even for a later date. Absolutely dumb. On the bright side, I've gotten the pain under control and can coast on ibuprofen without side effects. Ahh yeah. She had two sabers, if I'm not mistaken. One blue, one green. Also, follow-up on my ISO of FRAYDO's posts: He doesn't really seem suspicious to me. In fact, the only thing suspicious is his overnight result and not contacting orange, and even then it's nowhere near enough to implicate him.
  16. All I did was learn a T1 action. I almost went for a T2 skill this same night, but I hesitated because I'm still not 100% sure if I can do that. I'm going to go ISO FRAYDO's posts real quick, since I doubt this is enough to implicate him. It just feels too obvious.
  17. Alright, hopefully I should have this thing pulled by the time the next Council phase starts.
  18. I've got a bit to pitch in if you need my votes somewhere. Just let me know.
  19. Ibuprofen, and I managed to get some oxycontin (which is what's really helping). Unfortunately, everything closed before I could get anything set up, so it'll be an emergency cram tomorrow. And I'll be keeping an eye out for the night phase.
  20. Do I have to cast a vote? I'll be honest; I have not been able to keep up particularly well. This pain has had me barely able to focus on anything. Now, though, I'm hopped up on painkillers, but the side effects are making it hard to sit up, let alone scumhunt. Since it seems like I absolutely have to, ##vote champion Retaliation. Now, I'm off, and hopefully I'll be in much better condition (i.e., this stupid tooth is out of my mouth) for the next council phase.
  21. Oh yeah. The thing is broken open to the core and the pain is UNBEARABLE. If emergency rooms could pull teeth, I'd be there right now rather than posting here. As it stands, I have to wait until Monday, and even then it's not guaranteed that I'd be able to get it fixed that day.
  22. I just want to point out that I've already stated my race. I'm Mandalorian. I attempted to start a holochat with Orange, which unfortunately failed. I also used an ability which increases my max Force points by 10. This may or may not come back to bite me in the ass later. In my case, I'm: 1. Sitting back and examining the playing field, 2. Working hard on a lot of stuff, and 3. Fighting a crushed wisdom tooth and the MASSIVE pain that comes with it. Forgive me if that's not a good excuse, but I don't want to do what I usually do and charge headfirst into the situation.
  23. Either Retaliation has a strategy in mind or he's just being hotheaded. Leaning towards the latter.
