    Also, I still argue the 'that's not how the action unlock posts are worded' is faulty logic. You HAPPENED to be right this time, but it won't always be that way.

    It would have been a shakey case I could have more easily dodged if FRAYDO wasn't under intense scrutiny and that nomination though. I couldn't start defending FRAYDO obviously, and the "it's concindence" would have probably dug the hole deeper. I'll admit the claim was a bit awkward, but it was a desperate attempt to change strategies, and I'd say it actually worked better than I expected, just not well enough.

    In retrospect, ideal scum strategy was to get investigated early, because as soon as we NKed we were hostile. Unfortunately, the turn night kills became available, CK was in jail, and I was up next on the chopping block no matter what happened, once that pendulum swung.

    Also, FRAYDO should actually be town's MVP, for unwittingly putting suspicion on me with that D1 nominate. That seemed to put a lot of suspicion on me but was entirely uncoordinated, I had no contact with him, and I have no idea why he picked me, but here we are.

    Off topic, but we have a really good topic on the matter in the C&C section of this forum. I've done some major analysis there, including the fact that in game cut scenes actually use a map that doesn't fit any time period IRL, which are completely different from the mission select maps.

    I'm not so sure. I'm pretty sure I read a game in the archive where a NK didn't happen because of inactivity, though someone who was actually here for those games is probably more knowledgeable about it than I.

    I honestly don't know why things turned out the way they did, I'm still trying to piece it together. Maybe someone was AFK and forgot to send the kill order, like FRAYDO. He's high on the suspicion list and has been absent a lot. There's a few scenarios I can see playing out, though all of it would just be conjecture.

    You can't assume everyone's going to be that way though. PMs are supposed to be different and not exact copies, for a variety of reasons. Yeah, I'm not saying he broke the rules, far from it, just that there's a reason for those rules to exist that ties into the meta, and some meta isn't helpful and can be used to come to the wrong conclusions.

    So he did roleblock me. Using flavor text, or lack thereof, is a really flimsy excuse, and there's a reason it skirts up against the rules sometimes. (Not saying it's a rule violation, just that's the nature of the things we're dealing with, same realm and such). It really strikes me as a scummy attempt to 'finish the job' on me, as a diversion from others who are more important to investigate. Retaliation has kind of slipped by in the shadows of others so far this game. If he's scum, though, it doesn't make much sense as to why he'd be so public though...
