  1. Well, since we need a new meme. ##Vote Alstar A few reasons. 1) He's first alphabetically 2) He's not said anything yet 3) I assume some of us are still salty about that helipad business 4) I need to stir the pot somehow
  2. Someone really should submit "the concept of being the GM" for next CYOR and see what happens
  3. Also something strange I noticed and you might want to fix if you can Verti, but when I right click open in new tab on the roles card it takes me to the OLD role card. However, the new role card is correctly displayed in the thread and correctly opens up if I use the "click for larger version" link. I'm not even sure how that happens, but I was getting really confused when trying to look at the new additions and the old link kept getting substituted.

  9. We can usually get around 10 or so, at the very least, but we've still had some sub-par signup.
  10. Oh, and forgot to add, there's a separate forum there IIRC for the non-fully automated games that you might have more luck in.
  11. The Mass Effect game was anything but vanilla, and it was a closed game setup, as opposed to the open type which I can agree tends to not be as fun. It's main problem was it was like a 35 player game. The rare and exotic games do exist there, they're just harder to find, partially because the automated system can't be used to its full extent so it requires an active GM.
  12. As much flak as I give it, I'd say MU is still worth checking out. The game I was in was an exception where there were so many players the OT kind of overwhelmed the actual game, and there was just one guy in particular who was a poor player IMO that kind of ruined things (flipped out so much when I called him scum that he blocked me). Barring those two things, though, it seems like a pretty good site.

  14. I absolutely would love to have someone look over my stuff. My only concern is that it's balanced for a large number of people, and showing anyone the setup would decrease the number of people we have available to play. I guess if there's someone who's going to be busy or such and thus won't be able to play anyway, we could work something out, so they wouldn't need to worry about spoilers.

  20. I hate to keep being the spoil sport, but I can't guarantee my availability that day either actually. Fridays tend to be that way with me, though the week after I should be free. Don't move things around on my account, though.

  22. Reading the docs now: ChopBam, I thought you meant my slip was when I said "for town", and didn't include myself as town, basically, with the tone of that post. The 25% remark was 100% because 25 is 1/4 of 100% which makes it a logical number for stuff to happen at I was really, really curious as to when Retal and Irish would activate, but I actually had no clue.
  23. You know, in the end, Cat 5 kind of called it early on. He said something to the effect that my MO as scum was to instantly go on a killing spree. It was perfectly valid, nay, given the circumstances, the right choice, to NOT nightkill the night we got it. That never occurred to me at the time. Nightkills are scum's greatest tool, or so I thought at the time, it would be unthinkable to skip one. But alas, it really was the seeds of our own destruction. I should bring some of my caution I use when posting to my usage of night actions too, I guess. Anywho, interesting game. I liked the WT mechanics, and the seperate investigate/lynch. It's gotten me out of 'creative block' for my Cuban Missile Crisis game, and I might borrow some elements for it. The last on that matter I'll say is that I can tell I must already think in a very similar manner to Nodlied, as a lot of the design choices here are the same that I would have made. I actually cannot comment more about it though without spoiling my own setup.
