  1. As for the other things that have been going around. I'm not sure I have much to say, since I'm still on the fence for a good bit of it. Like how Chopbam was grilling Retaliation. Chop made a few decent points followed by a few wild accusations, while Retaliation had a reasonable defense. Although I'm probably leaning more towards Retaliation being town due to being in his shoes during the CYOA game. Unfortunately I'm not completely familiar with all the mafia role notifications. Like I would think an Attack Dog or Starshina would notify the person that they're being watched if they are, but nobody has said anything, so someone should be lying about their night activity since we should have a cop role. Unless the cop visited one of the people who died. For analysis posts in general, I don't think I'm quite good enough at them yet, but I can try. The only person that hasn't really been mentioned much, other than myself, so far is Chaos_Knight and I feel like he has been just active enough that he's been able to put in a decent word or two, but hasn't offered much substance. His first post was within the last 12 hours of D1 and the only thing he's really put forward is his opinion on there being a third party due to FRAYDO's unaligned death. I guess the only other thing I could say that hasn't already been mentioned is that Alstar could be lying about being sabotaged. Obviously there's no proof that he really was and it would do a pretty good job at inciting more haste into Town while throwing them off his tail. Ugh, I really enjoy this game (mafia in general) but it can be so difficult to discern the truth from the lies.
  2. Sorry just sent my mom off on her drive to back across the country and kinda brisked through things, but this idea seemed to be the most tangible idea right now so I wanted to put out my thoughts before people got too crazy with their guns just to secure one kill.
  3. Are we talking about mass shooting Voe directly? I'm okay with maybe one or two people shooting him, but in case it fails I don't think we should go more than that. Reason being, if we fail to kill him by the 2nd attempt, best case scenario is that we kill him on the 3rd attempt, he turns up 3rd party (possibly with him shooting back) 1 town and 2 scum out of bullets with either a town or scum member being shot at by Voe (potentially not killed though). That being the most unrealistic scenario. 2nd best, 2 town and 1 third party out of bullets, 1 scum dead with a town member or the third party possibly shot at. Again highly unlikely. If it does need at least 3 bullets, the most likely outcome is 3 town members or 2 town and 1 scum out of bullets and one town member dead. That would put us at 6 town left, 2 scum, and a third party and only either only 1 bullet or two left for town, while scum and third party could have be at 2 and 1 or 1 and 1. Either way, we'd be outgunned in the end. This ended up getting more in-depth about possible scenarios than I intended but the point is we should limit our shots against a single target otherwise we'll just end up defenseless and giving the hostiles the game.

  5. So far it seems to me that the top three suspects are Mojoman, Voe, and Chopbam. Voe, due to his inactivity and his conspicuous phrasing before game. Mojo, mostly people thinking his words are suspicious Choppy, a few suspicious words and one sketchy last minute vote. Forgive me if I missed something. Personally I always find a lack of activity as a scum read, especially considering Nod and Alstar during my first game.

  8. I should also mention, after going through the role sheet again it could be that there's an artillery scumbag. Although I'm unsure and unwilling to check all previous games to see if an artillery kill shows the alignment. Anybody know?

And the reason why I think there are only 3 hostiles is because 25% is generally fair for them, but if they were to have 33%, it'd give them too much of an advantage.
  10. Already typing before you asked :b I agree with Jeod that the whole indoor vs. outdoor debate seems senseless. I don't think it matters either way. Especially since we were the ones to tell him which roles we'd prefer. So here's my take from what we know so far. There are mostly likely a minimum of two missile silos. If we go with the minimum, there'd be 10 other roles to fill. I'm going to say 7 of them are town and 3 consist of a potential mix between scum and hostile third party. From my little experience, there's usually one role blocker for each side, one protector for town, and a cop. So let's say an Heavy Tank, Officer and a Starshina/Attack Dog for town and an engineer for scum. Now we're down to 4 roles. 1 of them is a mystery role and I think 1 or 2 of them would be a custom role considering he laid out how to make them. With 3 of them being town and 1 being scum or third party, to me, it seems too few for there to be an airfield. I think there's a higher chance one of the town roles is another defensive building (though I am open to it being another silo). If that's the case then there'd only be 2 town roles and 1 hostile role left. Maybe an engineer for town and a custom role and mystery role left for the last two. The reason why I chose 3 hostiles is because it seems like a fair number. The is all pure speculation, so take it as you will.
  11. Fell asleep a few hours after work >.> And the only downside to not knowing anything about RA means not catching the little things, like how you guys were able to recognize the darkhorse base. Appreciate the explanation Cat5.

  14. True, but if 5 people didn't target Kamuixmod N1 the game would've gone completely different, to the point where we couldn't even guess. And although I was going for Town when you invited me (kinda, since I did have the other scum target you), I was still scum at the time and you invited me of your own initiative.
  15. Kam, isn't it the thought that counts? Wait, Jeod, why am I? I killed you D2 intentionally. I was working towards scum goals after D4. Maybe Chaos and Kam might be since it was their plan that screwed you over.

  17. Overall, I think it was a pretty fun game. It had many ups and downs and twists and turns to it and definitely fulfilled it's design: quantum uncertainty. Though for players' peace of mind, hopefully the next time Cat5 hosts a game like this, he'll have all the kinks worked out. Even though those kinks helped me win. Yeah, that's one of the problems with having roles you're not set on. It's hard to commit if you think it might end up working against you. Day 1 Rounder doc was also fairly simple, maybe a bit over a page. The Day 5 doc only really took form after everyone admitted who they were and committed.
  18. I think you, me, and Chaos_Knight did a pretty good job for town (until the end of D4 for me). I had like 10 pages in Word for our tables >.> and 5 pages of Time Machine usage and their potential results. I didn't think the game was boring at any point, but we never saw something truly exciting happen until I abused the Time Machine.
  19. Well, with my plan, in the end, it would've enabled a scum win whether Voe, Retaliation, or myself were lynched. The reason why Chaos and Kam's Time Machine plan fell apart was because they changed Kamuixmod's vote to me before securing another vote towards me which put things to a tie and caused RNGesus to decide. And Jeod, you over exaggerated, I'm more salty about Voe being afk for his D-Mail than anything else. I was already thinking about being scum before you guys put me in that position. I had the idea of how to abuse the Time Machine and was kind of worried the scum would end up thinking of it too, but then I thought of how interesting it'd be if I ended up doing it and if it'd actually work. The game seemed almost over with barely anything of note happening, so why not liven it up? It couldn't really be a Steins;Gate game with only 2 Time Machine uses. Although my alignment choice probably seemed to be made from spite, it wasn't.

Lynch D5, kills N5, lynch D6. Better chance at Town winning Voe: We might gain another day to live if we vote CK and Voe doesn't know how to use the Time Machine properly.
