Would you be opposed to being investigated tomorrow? I agree with you on Verti, he's priority alpha, but you've been pretty cagey this whole time. It's been in the back of my mind, and I can't help feeling that we will need to investigate you at some point or another.

You. Specifically you. And you keep insisting that you know how the evidence work, as if you know definitively how this works when all that has been set in stone is "some people carry evidence" and "some evidence is fake." Either you have access to information that the rest of us don't, or you're assuming way too much.

The OP didn't state that. Definitely not in the snippet you quoted. We don't know if the evidence is fake or not due to alignment because both FRAYDO and CK had evidence, both were Suspicious, and (if Cat5's math is correct) only one of them is true. There's no evidence that either of them had a status change, either, so the connection between evidence and status is flimsy at best. Yet you insist that it's fact, especially since I put the spotlight on you. I want to know who you are moving forward, and not via your claims which I'm less and less inclined to believe (particularly the "sleeper" roleclaim). I want to know definitively.

MAFIA EDIT: I'd be more interested in finding the thief and/or killer, to be honest. But I agree that getting our nationalities out in the open would be productive, or at the very least show who's willing to be transparent. I'm Bosnian, by the way.

!vote no on investigating Cat5. We have an active thief and an active murderer (who may possibly be the same person) on the field, so we can no longer follow the "investigate-down-the-list" protocol. We gotta go with the best scumreads that we have, which for me are FRAYDO and Verti60. And in accordance with my plan from yesterday... ##investigate Verti60 I'm open to other ideas, by the way.

How would you be so certain that they'd target Jeod? Again, that typewriter isn't that powerful of an item, and while the grenade would be tempting, I believe someone claimed to have a gun, which would be much more useful. On that note, since Jeod using the grenade raised him from Innocent to Suspicious, how much would you bet that a nightkill would raise someone's status to Hostile?

Nice job raising that world tension. See why I didn't want the damn thing? Anyway, regarding the whole Verti/Chaos debacle. They've both been rather scummy, so who's to say that Verti didn't start that fight to save himself? This is assuming that Chaos is scum, of course, but I wouldn't be surprised if they publicly fought knowing both of them were under the microscope in order to save each other. Orange, I believe we did this same thing back in Death Note, right before doing the thing. Also not opposed to sending Cat5 to the vault. ##nominate Cat5 I'd also vote CK, but I don't want to hammer. I will say, though, that unless something drastic happens overnight, Verti should be investigated tomorrow.

I didn't really feel comfortable keeping it on me. It has a small chance of killing someone and a higher chance to roleblock. If I were to get investigated and I was discovered to have that thing on me? I figured town would leap at the chance to burn me at the stake. Plus, I had originally planned on using it as a last resort, but I realized that using it would likely heighten the World Tension, at which point I decided that I definitely did not want it. May have been a miscalculation, but I'm effectively vanilla now, and am more than happy to go scumhunting the old fashioned way.

Well, shit. Looks like I'm being indirectly questioned by Jeod and directly questioned by FRAYDO now, eh? This is awkward... but I can explain myself. It's the grenade, isn't it? Yeah, I kinda fibbed about doing nothing N1. Sorry guys, but I figured saying "I threw my grenade in the vault" would look suspicious, and FRAYDO's scummy behavior made me want to keep focus on him. And hey, that turned out well!

Cat5, you basically took the words out of my mouth regarding FRAYDO, especially after the recent kerfuffle. In addition, I'm not liking how defensive he's being, and I feel like that vote on you was a thinly-veiled attempt to swing back at you, or else that's how he would've opened the day. ##investigate FRAYDO Also, no objections to giving Jeod access tonight. ###nominate Jeod Anyway, that's how I'm leaving this. I won't be back before hammer (thanks to some stupid scheduling at work), so have fun. Oh, and one last thing, I didn't do anything last night either.

Thinking about it, I'm guessing that we have 3 possibilities regarding the world tension: 1. Someone purposefully did something that rose the world tension, and isn't about to tell us what it is. 2. Someone's night action(s) (or perhaps day playstyle) rose the world tension without their knowledge. 3. World tension slowly rises, and we're on a time limit. The first possibility is the one that's most likely, in my opinion, although I feel we should keep in mind all of these (or even combinations of them) moving forward. Hold on a sec, cowboy. What do you mean by "lack of scum buddies"?

Are you feckin' kidding me?! And here I was thinking I was up-to-date on my WWI knowledge and had caught someone in a lie... Yeah this is... embarrassing to say the least. *sigh* On the bright side, I feel much more comfortable trusting Jeod now. I guess we'll discuss further matters and our next course of action in the AM? 'Til then... I'm just going to sit in the corner.

You're reading too much into my post. Admittedly, I took your nationality claim too seriously (my bad), but my thought process was that you were lying to appear innocent, since (again) America had nothing to do with the start of WW1, and therefore Americans wouldn't be in this game. "Lynch All Liars," as they say, was on my mind, even though I just want you investigated as opposed to lynched. Nice job jumping on that post, though. Do you always have to make sure someone's in the spotlight? Now, as for having someone visiting the evidence locker, I'm inclined to agree that Cat5 should be the one to go there. I generally consider him the most trustworthy player here, and so far his posts have me along that mindset. ##nominate Cat5

That's pretty much why I'm holding my vote on him (in addition to not believing his America claim). Investigation doesn't really do much aside from confirming their role/alignment, and I've learned to treat Jeod as the wild card, even if he doesn't have a wild card role.

##investigate Jeod I sincerely doubt he's actually american, when the United States barely had any involvement in the war until towards the end (aside from trading supplies, of course). I bet we're pretty much all European, with maybe an Ottoman in the mix.
