  1. No hard feelings, mang. The only person who even slightly annoyed me this game was Verti60, and even then, tis just a game.
  2. My strategy was as follows: Step 1. Get rid of the grenade. Step 2. Get myself investigated to prove my innocence, along with a mostly-true roleclaim. Step 3. Snag myself the gun. Step 4. Eliminate the remaining Austro-Hungarians via whatever means necessary. Step 2 was the crux of my plan, and to be honest I was getting rather impatient, which is partly why I went after Verti that one day. (Everything else afterwards was me reacting to him antagonizing me. Didn't expect him to bulldog me like that when I said that I had made a mistake pushing for his investigation). I was pretty much ready to accept defeat when I finally got investigated, and if it weren't for Verti's overzealousness, I would've pushed for a Retal investigation (from a "take-one-for-the-team" perspective), and then shot Cat5 the following day. To be fair, though, I had no idea if locking up a Hostile counted toward my objective or not, and after FRAYDO's second investigation I thought he was Austro-Hungarian, too. I did feel a bit underpowered, but I had fun, so eh.
  3. With those stats? Pfft. I figured there would be a better weapon out there (which there was), and if the grenade was my only option I could just take it back whenever. "A" for effort, I suppose.
  4. A) Townie points in case you were scum. B) Lead to my investigation (which would prove my innocence) if you were town. C) Either way, give Orange an opportunity to get Cat5 (another target of mine) out of the way for me, which in turn would turn him Hostile and get him out of the way the next day. While there was no downside for town to investigate Orange, there was also no downside for me to invesitgate you.
  5. Eliminate the Austro-Hungarians. Which (at least from what I could tell) meant either siccing scum on them (somehow) or killing them all in broad daylight, one per day due to restrictions. From what I can tell, there were 4(!) to kill, and only one was scum proper, the other acting scummy enough I could talk my way out of it. It's also part of why I pushed for you when Orange was also on the chopping block; I wanted Orange to NK Cat5, then get Orange lynched, and then I'd only have FRAYDO and Retal left. I could save Retal for last in that case. But it was very much... if even one thing went wrong (which it did) I had no possible way of a backup plan.
  6. I'm still not sure how I was supposed to win. Clarification on that bit will come once the official game end post comes out.
  7. And WAY overaggressive. If it weren't for that out-of-the-blue shot at CK town may have been screwed.
  8. Well that was unexpected.
  9. <The wind withers down to silence. You feel the anticipation of the universe synch with your own.>
  10. Oh how predictable. The guy who has been bulldogging me ever since I investigated him and has been stockpiling items the whole game decides to accuse me on the grounds of "hurr dee durr he scum." Since I don't have night actions or the crowbar, that's quite the accusation that you're making. And you decide to use the grenade again despite the fact that it increases world tension. Scum or not, thief or not, you have been actively working against town this whole game. YOU EVEN SUGGESTED RAISING THE TENSION JUST TO LYNCH FRAYDO! I could say more, but you've made your own bed. Once the action resolves, prepare to lay in it. You have nobody to blame but yourself.
  11. Yeah I didn't exactly word that explanation correctly. It was a conclusion I drew from my role information and the writing on the note. On the bright side, it confirms the generation theory. Even though I won't be able to respond until tomorrow (thanks to post limitations), I'd like to hear your theories. I can assure you, though, that my purpose remains primarily to survive, and secondarily to support town (which is why I was sure I had evidence despite being told that I didn't).
  12. See guys? I've been telling the truth. As for my name, before you go Wikipedia Warrior on my ass, keep in mind that Nodlied did say he'd be making some differences. Based on everything I've seen, the "canon" (AKA real life) ending would involve me trying to react violently to suspicion and getting myself arrested. As for the grenade and evidence, they were both given to me by my brother, who has managed to escape. The orders were meant for him. Look, I don't know what else to say, but my innocence should speak for myself. Think, at any moment, I could've easily pushed the investigation to someone else. I could've made up some BS a la OrangeP47 as to why investigating me would be a bad idea. But I never did. I even voted myself and kept the investigation on me. Ask yourself... why would I do this if my goal was anti-town?
  13. My PM says that I don't carry evidence. Guess today's a perfect day to test Retaliation's generation theory.
  14. Why the hell would it bring us quicker victory? Evidence gets transferred to the vault regardless of the status of the person that it was found on. The only difference would be eliminating players and possibly increasing world tension, which we want to avoid because we LOSE if it reaches 100%. The only person I would be okay with lynching would be possibly FRAYDO, and only because of how he's somehow managing to evade punishment despite being obviously scum. Gimme my grenade back, or at least pass it to someone like Retaliation or Cat5. With how trigger happy you are, I don't trust you with a weapon.
  15. And, truth be told, I'm getting annoyed at you bulldogging me since Day 2. I wouldn't mind as much it you presented good arguments, but you don't. It's just a paper thin case soaked in smug taunting. What bugs me is how unusually bad you're playing. It's almost on purpose. For what reason, though, I'm not sure.
  16. No, because you put us in a position where someone could hammer if they really wanted to, a situation that is always best avoided. Of course, you know better, so I can only assume that you did so on purpose for one reason or another.
  17. And so you put us at Hammer -1. Nice going, genius. ##unvote investigate
  18. Oh thank god. He was doing me a concern for a minute there.
  19. Mojo... where did you put that gun?
  20. Ah, that's fair. In that case, yeah, I agree. Obviously the work of necromancers.
