    He confirmed this to me in our meeting, and he also said that he didn't care about his role being revealed as long as we were focused on catching Kira. Considering he was sounding the alarm for the past few days and we weren't bothered to notice and are now paying the price for it? If he was let out he probably didn't do anything of major concern.

    Talking to me or Orange? Because if it's me, I've basically been making everything clear. Nodlied and I wanted to get the notebooks locked down at any cost, as well as prevent Voe from meeting Jeod. This was done. Then Orange and I met up, and we were highly suspicious of Mojoman. We were also unsure of Choppy, though we kind of let him off the hook when Mojo flipped Matsuda, and just decided that Mojo was nuts. Currently we can't make heads or tails of the situation, and we're thinking that investigating Jeod will finally reveal some answers. We just need people who have touched a Death Note to be on board.

    Mostly because I haven't done very much besides meet with Nodlied and Orange. Oh, and I used my proposal point boost ability last night. We're in emergency mode, and I want to be able to use them whenever possible.

    Hell it's possible he doesn't have an accomplice, and the line of "I cannot into Kira" was a line of BS intended to keep us distracted. Hell, taking that into consideration, his whole play this game has been near identical to what he did in the Chronosphere mafia. I say we don't let up for a second.

This is sort of what my thought process is right now. I've been townreading Orange the whole game, while Mojo's been sending up bad signals. Particularly today. But if he flips town, then Orange would be suspicious. Not implication worthy just yet, but suspicious. I was focused on getting the notebooks locked down, and given my role I didn't really want to come out. As for if I had a book, had that been the case I would've opened it while Nodlied followed up on our original plan. After all, my win condition simply says that I have to be holding the notebook at the end of the game. (Sidenote: our "original plan" that we were talking about and were keeping secret was for Nodlied to pass you his notebook and then re-investigate you. Our line of thinking was that maybe having a canon Kira holding a notebook upon investigation would help advance the game. It's apparent that this isn't the case, and I'm glad we made the adjustments that we did.) That seems a little weird. What kind of item would do that, I wonder?

Though perhaps my points were simply drained rather than stolen. As far as trustworthiness is concerned, here's what I think: 1. Nodlied 2. OrangeP47 3. FRAYDO 4. ChopBam 5. Category 5 6. Mojoman 7. FOX News 8. Jeod And lo and behold, Mojo and Jeod buddying up in public. How quaint. If I wasn't certain about Mojoman being suspect alpha before, I am now. And *if* he is gimmicked, then we'll have reason to believe that a player doesn't have to be investigated before being targeted.

    Just for the record, that's underhanded and dirty. Knowing exactly who Nodlied is, I'd say he's completely trustworthy. Choppy's someone I'm not entirely clear on, especially after chatting with Orange. So I have to ask you something: The action that you used on Orange last night, did you use it on me two nights ago?

    I don't think it's Cat5. He was sounding the alarm yesterday, which we ignored in favor of locking down the notebooks. As for Jeod, I say we ignore him. We don't know for sure if you having opened your notebook will allow us to investigate him, and given that Kira has become an active threat, we don't have time to test this out.

    Personally, I think you swiped the notebook and passed it to someone who would do your bidding. Who that someone is, we'll find out. My guess is that it's related to the point drain. I got hit with one yesterday, and Orange got hit today, and in our meeting we confirmed that it was the same ability. I also think that it might have been someone who hasn't been in the forefront of the action. Right now, I'd say Mojoman is suspect alpha. He's been sitting back, poking the bear every once in a while, and everyone was either too distracted to care or cleared him on the basis of "had the notebook, told us, didn't use it." I feel like this may not be sufficient enough to clear someone now. ##vote Mojoman Anyone have a better idea, now's the time to lay it out. We've hit emergency mode now.

    Oh FUCK!!! Okay, looking at the playing field, I see two possibilities: Either Nodlied is Kira, or Jeod's claim that "Sidoh will take all the books" is a ton of bullshit, and he retrieved the confiscated book and passed it to someone. Personally, knowing who Nodlied is and how reluctant he's been to use the book, I'd bet that the latter is the case. I'm 95% sure of it.

    I think he wants Voe to open it because he's more likely to kill someone (at least, between him and Nodlied). I don't think Voe would do it, but Jeod would try to persuade him, and really there's no telling with Voe sometimes.
