  1. Makes sense to me. Although, how much of a time limit is the vortex really going to be? Mafia edit: that was meant for Chaos. Damn ninja
  2. So, right now the current plan is: -Chaos sends a package to moonsense Night 5 -Moony trains Engineer -Moony repairs Nodlied Night 6 -I shoot Nodlied Day 6 Given Jeod's scummy behavior (and tbh somewhat weak defense), I'm beginning to think he could be a missing element. It's possible that the chronosphere repair idea is a wild goose chase. One that could give some interesting results. I think we can work the following into our plan: -I shoot Jeod now. If he flips scum, GG. If he flips town, we still have plenty of time left for the rest of the plan. -Chaos resupplies me Night 6, the same night moony repairs Nodlied. -If, for some reason, moony either autodeclines the package or opts to do something other than repair Nodlied, we lynch him. Pretty foolproof if you ask me. The only possible flaws would be an incorrect way to stop the vortex (I don't think there are other ideas that we have), or Cat5 is scum (which is highly doubtful, almost impossible).
  3. Well, the pillbox uses an automated dual Browning setup that you normally wouldn't notice unless you looked inside it. Plus there's things like variety, possible role shuffling, and such to take into consideration.
  4. Hey, Chaos, how many of those packages do you have left?
  5. That's what I meant. If repairing and shooting the Chronosphere gets rid of the vortex, but the game is still going, that is the grounds for resuming a scumhunt. Until then, I'll be acting under the assumption that this is what we need to do.
  6. I don't feel comfortable taking the shot if this engie plan has a chance to work. I say we do the repair the chronosphere plan, and only if that doesn't result in a game-over do we take out scum. Also, Chaos, the golden wrench is one-time use. You need an extra night for refilling moonsense.
  7. Well, to be on the safe side... ##vote nolynch
  8. Sounds good to me, although I can only track every other night. Not that it matters, anyway.
  9. I'm starting to think that's what needs to happen. As a matter of fact, here's what I think has been going on this whole time: -Nodlied was the only scum. -Nodlied couldn't chronoshift anyone while visceroids were in play. -Nodlied started damaged, and would win if a Chrono Vortex was created and not stopped. -Town goal is to fix the Chronosphere and kill/lynch it the next day. Thus our plan is to have Wallymoon become an Engineer (as I am already a sniper), have him golden wrench Nodlied, and then I shoot him. If I miss, we lynch to be sure. If lynch fails, I reload and shoot again. And thus... ##vote nolynch
  10. That is a possibility, hence the emphasis on "last resort option." Do you have another plan, or still working on one? Mafia edit: Didn't see your last post there. Repairing the chronosphere sounds like a good idea, and an Engineer is available on the purchase list. It might also explain the lack of nightkills so far.
  11. A well-placed arty shell or a skilled rifle soldier/sergeant/captain/medic/Tanya/etc... can take care of infantry somewhat easily. Vehicles are the real danger.
  12. Can confirm, dog is not available on the list. I don't know where to go from here. I do have another shot, however. Here's what I think: Jeod has had the most scummy behavior thus far, but at the same time, Wallymoon hasn't done anything one way or another. If nobody comes up with a better idea, I think we should shoot Jeod and lynch Wallymoon. If we have another scum player, it has to be one of those to. But, like I said, this should be a last resort plan. As in, if nobody comes up with a better idea.
  13. Scouted Wallymoon last night, he came up as doing nothing. He's in the clear. Strange... though I may have an idea. I'll post my thoughts later. Also, I did receive another package last night, courtesy of Chaos. Awesome!
  14. Okay, here's what we know: -Category 5 Hurricane is a Soviet War Factory. This was backed up by comrade what's-his-face (ChopBam). He knew that he was unlynchable, so he directed hammer on himself before we moved on. -Chaos_Knight is a Soviet Barracks. He sent packages to Nodlied (autodeclined due to being Chronosphere), ChopBam (declined due to getting a tank), and myself (accepted for a brand new sniper rifle). All three of us backed this up. -I started as a Shock Trooper. I paralyzed Mojoman Night 2 (which stopped the visceroids in their tracks), shot at and missed Category 5, traded up for a Soviet Sniper (thanks to Chaos_Knight), and shot a Chronosphere to death. -Jeod is a building. He claims to be a Flame Tower, though. The only evidence we have to support this is the fact that we couldn't lynch him. The mystery player in the works here is Wallymoon. He softclaimed a Rifle Soldier, but so far nothing has been brought to back this up. The 25/25 jam/hit chance claim fits, but it also fits the RPG Trooper, Medic, Rocket Soldier, and APC. And that's not even taking into account possible custom roles. I hate to pick on the new player, but nothing else adds up. If this is true, it might be possible that the Chronosphere needed someone to select a target before being able to do anything. So if there's a standard nightkill (or lack thereof), I'd say he's next to be lynched. However... We can't rule out the Chrono Vortex hint. We need to be ready for the weirdest.
  15. Actually, the wording of the death screen makes me wonder: What if that's how we capture scum buildings; by lynching them? Unlynchable scum makes little sense, but what do you do with a structure besides kill it? Simple. You take it for your own.
  16. Let's lynch Cat5, and if his claim is true, tomorrow will be more than enough time to figure out who the last scum is. If he's lying, GG. ##vote Category 5 Hurricane Also Voe is one chatty spooky ghostie.
  17. I will rage HARD if I miss. I trained Sniper specifically for this.
  18. You know what? F*ck it. He's had PLENTY of time to respond to these accusations (since we've pretty much just been parroting the same arguments he's been dodging this whole time), and he's been dodgy, defensive, and mysterious. If he really WAS a town player, he'd be more transparent. Plus he'd be more hard pressed to participate rather than just respond to people, which is what he's been doing this whole time. *loads dragonoff* Enough funny business. ##shoot Nodlied
  19. Yeah. Goddamnit, fingers, why you drunk all the time.
  20. Agreed, that and his borderline hardclaim of Rifle Soldier, which honestly makes sense to me. Frankly, I'm beginning to think that Nodlied is the solo town player, given how tightlipped and defensive he's been this whole game. Especially these past couple of days, when we're all being transparent.
