  1. APB's using the LPO-50, so we'll be using something else. Right now we're looking at the M9. That's not the plan. GDI Minigunners will have the GAU-3, while Nod will have the M16. We don't want to use Renegade weapons.
  2. Alrighty. Well, that definitely sounds like an interesting game mode! Can't guarantee that it'll be in the first release, but it'll definitely be something we look into!
  3. Currently, we only plan to have C&C Mode for first release, but adding more game modes afterward would be cool. I'm not sure what you mean by Mobile HQ mode, though. The manual and cutscenes will be used as reference material for development (for example, the Minigunners will have the GAU-3/M16 for GDI/Nod, respectively). However, the Commando will not have a shotgun. That's... actually an interesting idea. It won't be in the first release, but it is something we could look into later.
  4. Visceroids are not in yet. When they come (we're still not sure if they'll be in the first release), we're probably going to give them a new model. Airstrikes and super weapons will not be in the first release. They will be in a later patch. That would be cool, however we won't really focus on them. If they happen, it'll be because we had spare time to devote to them. But on a personal note, I would certainly like to have them. Aside from the Medic, most likely not. We should have a blog out within a week detailing infantry classes. Most likely. I don't want to officially say which in case we change our minds, but shared assets is a high probability.
  5. The Gunboat is not planned for the first release. We do plan on eventually having it, however, and it will be included in some form. Thank you! Accuracy to Tiberian Dawn is one of our goals.

  7. Well, it seems you all have a lot of questions. And with these questions shall come answers! Welcome to the official Questions and Answers (Q&A) Thread for Tiberian Dawn: Ground Zero! Feel free to ask any question that you have- any at all- and myself or ICE will answer it! There are no wrong questions, so long as it relates to GZ, so ask away!
  8. Vehicles won't be balanced quite the same way as infantry, however we will be keeping to a defined role scheme. Short answer is, the Light Tank will still be an M2 Bradley with a 75mm cannon, and it won't be given to GDI. Details will follow in a later blog. Thank you!   9. First release (and the base roster) will be sticking to ingame units, with one exception (the Medic). Cutscene units and things like the cut Microwave Tank and the X-O Powersuit will be extras added post-release. Yes, that is the role they will play.

  11. No, it's a new project. Like the other W3D projects, this will be a standalone multiplayer game. No, this game won't be drawing from Renegade. Yes. Visual accuracy to Tiberian Dawn is one of our goals.
  12. Yeah, sorry, I'm gonna sit this one out. Work's going to pick up, I've probably got a bunch of filming to do soon, and if I'm being honest, I don't think I'm really a fan of duel-based setups. I'll still be able to chat with dead people, and provide running commentary on the game. It's good to know that I'm valued as a mafia player, though!

  15. I actually don't think I'm a bad player as Town. I'm just terrible at being Scum, mainly because I don't really enjoy it as much. Although, I feel like I did a good job trying to push on ChopBam.
  16. None taken. We had a new person, an absentee, and a terrible player (that last one is me). It was a difficult time. I would definitely like to give this setup a second try. It didn't seem like that much of a fair introduction to a pretty cool setup.
  17. Unfortunately, I'll have to sit this one out. I start my new job today, and since it's going to be mostly afternoons, I'll likely miss the battle phases. I'll be available for the regular Mafias, though! (Also, I can has dead doc? :P)
