  1. It was, but it almost wasn't. It was one of the options we had as scum.
  2. ##vote early hammer Yeah. I was super unprepared for this, and I was kind of hoping to be able to control the situation after Irish died. I was so close, but alas, it wasn't meant to be. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
  3. I think I know when I'm beat. ##vote Killing_You Good game everyone. I'll be honest, if I had been lynched because of that questionnaire earlier, I would have been pretty miffed. But you backed me into a corner I can't argue my way out of fair and square.
  4. To add onto this, what was his old role? That might clear things up.
  5. I'm Vanilla Ice... Warrior. No night targets. I'm unconvinced by FRAYDO's answer, if I'm being honest. If we didn't already have a Third Party flip, it'd have more weight to it, but it's not the magic confirmation that he seems to believe it is.
  6. MAFIA EDIT: Aw crap, I had something else to say. I'll be around for hammer tomorrow. My vote is going to be between Cat5 and FRAYDO. I'm convinced one of those two is our remaining scum.
  7. Come on, you're a smart man. It was an "if/then" scenario, as in "If Cat5 and Irish are scum, then everyone else is town." I don't know how else to explain this. Interestingly enough, this lines up with the theory that Nodlied was poisoned. And Cat5 dismissing the possibillity soon after is a bit suspicious. ##unvote
  8. MAFIA EDIT: The reason I proposed Irish was the poisoner is because one scum with a Godfather and poison effects seems farfetched to me.
  9. If that's the case, then what if Irish was the one who poisoned Nodlied? And if we assume the scum team has knowledge of the poison effect being a delayed kill, FRAYDO "visited" himself because he knew there was a tracker on the field, and he wanted to let the delayed kill do the work for him? After all, he was confident to vote me up and use just a snippet of my analysis as evidence. ##vote FRAYDO Ball's in your court. Convince me otherwise.
  10. Let's go back to the list Cat5 made last night. Let's see what it would take to resolve these contradictions. Please bear in mind that each of these supposes that the person in question is, in fact, scum. -Blujet would have to be lynchproof scum. -Cat5 would've had to willingly sacrifice his lynch set up. -FRAYDO would've had to be able to fool the cop report. -Jeod would've had to have no issue flipping so suddenly on his scumbuddy. -I would've had to have no issue leaving a vote on my scumbuddy for the 40+ hours I was away, knowing I wouldn't be available to change my vote in the mean time. Initially, the most likely of these contradictions looks to be Cat5. His lack of a Plan B, however, tells me this isn't the case. I'm starting to think FRAYDO might be a Godfather after all. There's just one problem with this. Assuming this is the case, would this mean that if Irish hadn't been lynched, scum would've essentially been able to make 2 kills? That's the only part that puzzles me.
  11. Alright, I'm going to run under the assumption that Nodlied was killed by the Mafia, and his self kill is just flavor. This tells me that the scum team was threatened by Nodlied, but not Cat5. This somewhat goes along with my suspicion on Cat5, but the problem is Cat5 is too smart to kill someone he was setting up for a lynch. If he had a backup plan, he would've put out a suspect by now. I think Cat5 is in the clear for now. So either we have a godfather, or someone who thinks Cat5 won't investigate them. I'm going to cross-reference this info with the non-voters from yesterday and see what I come up with.
  12. Alright, timeout for just a second guys. Did you just skim over my post? I was constructing a scenario where Cat5 and Irish were on a scum team. Can't exactly assume Blujet would've been scum under those circumstances, can I? I'm not saying that I'm 100% sure, but under that scenario, I had to assume Blujet was town. The fact that Nodlied was the kill last night changes things, but I don't know exactly how yet. I'm going to be able to do a more thorough analysis in the morning.
  13. Alright, I've got a chance to check in. Sunday's still D&D heavy for me as well, but thankfully it's a night phase, and come Monday morning I'll be back here and more active. First off, great job nailing scum people. I suppose I can trust my gut 33% of the time, based on these results. My strongest town read so far is Jeod. I was initially suspicious of his claim as the town tracker, but that last minute flip onto Irish tells me that he's definitely town, or at least not mafia. If he was scum, he could've easily coasted with Irish on the vote and let Blujet fall, but instead he flipped on scum. It's not like he was just jumping on a vote to save himself, either; Jeod willingly switched the lynch by himself, and hit scum in the process. The only scenario where he's scum is one where they willingly take an ultra-risky sacrifice to clear the other, and I really don't think that's the case since nobody's made a strong case against Jeod so far. -Blujet has said the following so far: That's it. He hasn't even attempted to make a case, aside from publicly claiming Jeod's role (which Jeod did not take kindly to). It almost feels like he's trying not to be noticed, popping in once in a while to make it looks like he's here, and then ducking back out. He has also yet to place a vote this whole game. The only evidence against this is Irish's vote on blujet, which put him in the lead -I'm a tad suspicious of Cat5's cop claim. It just seemed like it came out of nowhere, almost to keep himself out of the spotlight after pushing so hard on Shade. This was on top of naming myself and Irish as the scum team, as well as Jeod as TP, but without anything to back this up. Granted, he was right about Irish in the end, although he was unwilling to place a vote on him. This is in contrast to his reasoning for not unvoting Shade: Now, he could've followed along with the Blujet vote for safety, but that would've meant he had a hand in two mislynches in a row. One that he lead, and one where he jumped on alongside two other votes. Instead he was comfortable to let the vote go without placing a vote on either of his scumreads. Let's also not forget this bit of info: The only person Irish declared as Town was Cat5. -FRAYDO's an interesting one. He's mostly been asking around, but not quite to the point of rolefishing. Furthermore, if he's scum, then either he's a Godfather or Cat5 is an insane cop. Frankly, I'm more likely to believe that FRAYDO is simply town and Cat5 fudged a report on him. There's no way they're on a team together, because we would've been at MYLO today (3v7 -> 3v6 -> 3v5), and we haven't seen that announcement yet. -Nodlied's one of my stronger town reads. He's been pretty decently active and has put in an effort to contribute. In addition, Jeod confirmed that Nodlied visited Jeod, and it doesn't appear to have any negative effects. I also don't think he'd make up a bussing story out of the blue. In order of most to least suspicious, it goes Cat5 - Blujet - FRAYDO - Nodlied - Jeod.
  14. I don't, which gives me very little to go on. Shade and iLTS both ended up being town, so going off of my three best scumreads from yesterday, I'm going to leave my vote on Irish. It's not based on much (mostly inactivity, like he's trying to coast under the radar), and maybe I'm wrong, but it's all I've got. I also don't want to leave on a no-vote since I know I won't be back before hammer. ##vote TheIrishMan And with that.. I'm out. See you next week.

  16. Also, as a head's up: I'll be offline tomorrow evening/night, and all of Saturday. I've got a charity event that I'm going to tomorrow, and Saturday is likely an all-day D&D event depending on how quickly everyone is available.
  17. Best case scenario; this ends up being a nice, kind of fun if rudimentary RTS that dies after a month or two. Worst case scenario, it's Dungeon Keeper Mobile 2. Not going to lie, I'm expecting it to suck, but I hope it ends up actually being good.
  18. I'm going to be blunt. The reason I haven't really been active so far is D1 has been very boring recently. We've been defaulting to nolynch, which not only gives scum a free NK and an extra phase to plan without too much pressure, but also brings our productivity to a halt. The only reason I'm here now is because we're actually trying to make good use out of D1. Also since I'm unfamiliar with the setting, I'm going purely on behavior here. Flavor's irrelevant for this first analysis, so feel free to correct me if flavor contradicts my read on someone. Blujet- Null read. Mostly due to never seeing him play before. Cat5- Overly aggressive vendetta vs Shade. This is out of character for him, as he usually is content to dismiss Shade as "Alternate Universe Man." I don't think he'd make a big song and dance about it if he was scum, though, so reading Third Party out of the gate for me. FRAYDO- Bit late to the party, but even so he's got a pretty strong town read. His suspicion on me, while incorrect, has good reasoning behind it, as well as his other post. Irishman- I'd like to hear a little more from you. Null read, leaning a little scummy with the inactivity. iLikeToSnipe- Seems interested in flavor. Has a daykill and is willing to use it based on what he demands. Not very helpful, and if it wasn't so similar to his Doctor Doom play, I'd lean more scummy here. Jeod- Slightly aggressive, while also cagey about himself. Normally would ping as scum behavior, but this is normal for town Jeod. Not a strong town read, but definitely not leaning scum right now. Nodlied- Lots of flavor discussions as well, but he seems town at the moment. Shade- Argh... I'm having trouble seeing through the flavor talk. Not sure how to feel here, although he doesn't seem super bothered by Cat5's one-man crusade vs him. Voe- Invasive ghost arseweasel. 100% scum ? If I have to go with my best guess, it's a toss-up between iLTS, Irish, and Shade. Going with my gut between those three, iLTS's trigger happiness disturbs me the most. Don't have much more to go on, unfortunately. ##vote iLTS
  19. Honestly speaking, if they said something like, "This is a fun little spinoff while we work on something good," I wouldn't care as much. Granted, it'd still look terrible, but I'd just roll my eyes and move on. But they said that this supposed to be "C&C reinvented for a new generation." This is their idea of presenting us with their plan for the future. "Disappointment" doesn't even begin to cover it.
  20. I mean, because Dungeon Keeper Mobile was such a good idea.
  21. Reporting... although today is going to be D&D heavy, so don't expect me to really be here until tomorrow.
