[GAME OVER] CYOR III

You know Retaliation, you'd be a lot less suspicious if you actually tried explaining your role and could actually prove the reason why we didn't have a NK wasn't simply because you couldn't actually act last night?

I’m essentially supposed to be a running tally of the number of hostile player  actions made per night. Hostile is ill defined, but seems based on alignment.

I obviously have nothing to report because I was conscripted by sunflower for her lab.

GM Note: Hostiles have always been defined as Mafia and Third Party alignments. Players are given these alignments if they have or have the possibility of committing killing actions (not counting town killing actions like dayvigs etc) Hence, eliminate all hostiles as town win condition.

And that is a reasonable way of allowing us to figure out if you're telling the truth about your character without having to kill your character.

I mean, not to jump on Shade's crazy train, but Retal just saying that doesn't "prove" anything.

And what's this about a lab?

Not immediately, but now he has to actually use that ability in the future and we can act on the information he provides finding any inconsistencies with his statement and what actually happens.

So you're saying you're ready to sign on to my pie paranoia for today's lynch eh? :p

Given the fact that we didn't have a NK tonight, I'm a bit more inclined to go after a third party than I would be otherwise.

No it doesn’t prove anything.

The lab was the flavor of the roleblock. I was the experiment essentially.

Yeah, I can understand why Retaliation is phrasing it like that if he was also roleblocked.

Here is my general reads list, seeing as the argument going on seems to have died out, arranged in order of most townie to most HOSTILE  (seeing as there's a chance of third party).

Killing_You - He gets very town for the time being.  I won't explain why fully at this time, but I have some reasons. There's a chance I'm wrong, but *for the moment* I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Nodlied - I have a null read on him.  He's not done much, other than claim virus infect him.  Even if that's true (and to be fair I have no reason to doubt him) it doesn't clear of him OTHER hostile action.

Sunflower - Tied with Nodlied.  Again a null read.  Roleblocked Retal and it has been confirmed. That in and of itself is not towny, but it's about all we have to go on. If last game is any judge, she'll get more talky as the game goes on, but I'd like her to talk more as is.

Irish - Another null read, and hard to place. He might actually be above Nodlied.  He's being bold with his roleclaim indeed, and if he's telling the truth that's pretty towny... but he could still have an angle we don't know about.

Cat 5 - I'm actually kind of suspicious of him, for fishing for Shade's defense early on.  This would be something someone who wants to make night kills or third party virus infect would do, but at the same time, this might just be the continuing undercurrent of exasperation with Shade.

Shade - I'm actually going to say I don't quite know where to put Shade on this list.  This is the lowest he could possibly be, but he could be up above Nodlied. He was also roleblocked last night, but the way he's handled the situation and his behavior seems more town than Retal, if only for the fact that if he was scum he'd be making a right mess. Doesn't rule out third party, of course, but if we include Shade on possible third party list it's getting pretty crowded. Like Irish, if he has an angle, I don't know about it.

Retal - He was roleblocked and there was no night kill. He's been generally uncooperative. His flavor could also go here, but I don't put too much stock in that. Bad guy-ish flavor could be town still. However, mostly, I'm not satisfied with his answer to what his ability is, at all.

ChopBam - Pies.  Need I say more?

-----

I guess, in summary, I'm suspicious of pretty much everyone to some degree or another, besides KY. In a CYOR with possible third party we do get kind of hostile-biased though. I'm guessing KY is probably a null read for most other people. I do reserve my right to change my opinion on KY, pending future action.

To be fair, I'm currently most suspicious of Retaliation. He wasn't doing great at defense and voting for himself made me believe as if he'd thrown in the towel. But should his ability be true, he'd be a valuable asset.

Given that you can use actions and items at the same time, it becomes a little less useful, though.
