  1. Everyone, brace yourselves! Red Alert: A Path Beyond's release date is now set in stone! Don't miss the launch day event! Dear APB fans, I am happy to make another announcement! Red Alert: A Path Beyond Delta will be released roughly within 16 hours counting from now! COUNTDOWN We did a final test of the game tonight with the staff. I am absolutely amazed by how the game looks and plays now. The APB developers deserve a HUGE applause in my opinion. They've put weeks and months of hard work into it and I must say that it turned out really great. My advice for everyone: 1. Wait for the countdown to reach zero. 2. Download and install the game with the launcher. 3. Join the APB server. 4. ENJOY THE GAME LIKE NEVER BEFORE! As for people who hesitate trying it out: 1. Never played APB before? It's totally free, like the rest of the games here. Give it a try. 2. Didn't like APB Gamma and its patches up until now? You will like this one. In other news, in case you haven't noticed: The website has been updated slightly and will show Red Alert/APB related background images for a while, celebrating the launch day event. There is also some snowing as we are in the winter season!

  2. Today is the day, comrades. The latest version of Red Alert: A Path Beyond has been released! Today is the day, comrades. The latest version of Red Alert: A Path Beyond has been released! Much time has been put into improving the game, and the APB development team is glad to finally make it available. Before you rush off to downloading, have a quick rundown of what has changed from the previous Gamma version. A Path Beyond Delta Changelist Naval combat has been reintroduced Snipers reintroduced Tech Level determined at the start of the round Tech Level unit structure reworked Sprinting has been added, which is done by holding [shift] Regeneration has been added; Infantry will recover to 75% of their health, armour remains depleted. Aiming penalties factor in; Standing, running, crouching and jumping will affect your accuracy. Team info/base info popups bound to B and M Updated models for several infantry and vehicles Updated textures for infantry, vehicles, and buildings Jukebox feature added Substantial performance improvements Maps have been vastly revamped and improved; in fact, have some previews! The maps contained in this release (click for big) and more! Much more features and improvements, which you'll have to see in-game! Both the staff members and testers have worked very hard to make this possible, and it's thanks to them we are here today!   3. Excited to see the new version of Forest of Illusion. Used to play 6 person private games with friends on that map 5 years ago and loved trying to pass myself off as a ghost. lol Same with accuracy penalties. I'll have to see if that makes me like the AKM more than the M16.

  4. Hey there everyone. I used to play Ren a few years ago under the name Testement and was a tester for RP2 (ECW). It's cool to see all the mods under one launcher and forum. I always felt trying to navigate through all the sites in order to stay posted was sometimes a chore. I look forward to seeing you all ingame!

  7. I think this release is going to snowball quickly in terms of player counts. It's probably the best version of APB ever released. Also, welcome to the forums, Mojo!

  8. This is going to be tough, but I'll give it a shot. In the meantime I did an animation! First one I've done in almost forever and I haven't gotten any better in the interim, but I still think it came out okay!
