  1. Happy weekend, folks! Seems like a good time to update APB with a hotfix. Hotfix 3.5.0.1 General A bug has been fixed with MAD Tank explosions which previously made them do a lot of damage they weren't supposed to do, and rendered other things immune to them that aren't supposed to be immune. New sneak indicator is on the HUD, next to the radar compass. When you are visible on radar to opponents, it gets muted. When you hold still and are "sneaking," or invisible on radar, it becomes mostly opaque. Low ammo count now displays with a red color. MapsBonsai Fixed the Allied Ore Truck AI getting stuck in the field. Guard Duty Made Soviet hill blockers even more aggressive. This one is on the hill directly across from the Soviet Refinery. Pipeline Re-added physical boundaries around the map. Siege Removed VIS, since there were some serious issues occurring with objects disappearing. Stormy Valley Time of day has been set to 22:00 (was 00:00). This makes the sky just a little bit lighter, and enemy helicopters easier to see.

  2. @Anon_Kat AP is Armor Piercing - It does more damage against vehicles than HEAT but it has no splash damage. It does less damage to structures than HE or HEAT. If you direct hit infantry, you can one shot them 9 times out of 10. Generally, it has a faster projectile speed than an HE shell. HE is High Explosive - It has great splash damage and is good against infantry and structures. If you land a shot on a tank with HE, you can still do some good damage but it'll be less accurate than an AP shell from a Main Battle Tank or a Tank Destroyer. HE shells are generally slow moving projectiles that have an arc. HEAT is High Explosive Anti-Tank - It does good against everything, a jack of all trades, master of none. Good against Vehicles, Infantry, Structures, and, hope and dreams. Depending on the vehicle, it can have a drop over range. It does not have as much splash damage as HE but still very useful. It doesn't move as fast as AP, but its not as slow as HE. The projectile speed also seems to vary between vehicles using HEAT. APCR is Armor Piercing Composite Rigid - It does more damage against vehicles than AP but it has no splash damage and does very little to structures. The downside is an inaccuracy penalty, a reload rate penalty, and range reduction. Its recommended to use it in extreme close ranges and aim for the weakspots of a vehicle. HESH is High Explosive Squash Head - It does a good amount of damage against vehicles, has splash damage, but has a more significant drop over range, and takes longer to reload. I'm unsure if it has an inaccuracy penalty. I recommend using it if a vehicle is at almost point blank range. The way I remember it is, if it has High Explosive in its name, its good against buildings, Infantry, and has splash. If it has Armor Piercing, its good against vehicles and infantry, but only direct hits as it has no splash. HEAT is an all-rounder, good against everything shell. Other ammunition types include HEI - High Explosive Incendiary: This deals damage against infantry and can cause burn damage. APFSDS-T - Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot: I think this type only appears on the Stryker MGS. Not the AGM one. Its acts like a hitscan AP shell for the Stryker. ATGMs, TOWs, and other missiles - Really good against pretty much everything. I'll update this when I hop back into the game and check the vehicles for more ammunition types.   3. How about we stop making so many f--king changes? One person bitches and it get changed. I agree if something is way OP for sure but just tweak it slowly. I think the game play was fine 6 months ago. Commanchi is not stealth Ezeks & Phase tanks are nerfed. Phase is fucking usless There are only a handful of tanks people use these days. T62, 1800 Mammy and now the one that turns into a tree, sorry forget name. Most characters are useless. You can get a free character and own a 1000 sniper etc. Last but not least ban the hacker and maybe people will come back............................ dont ask me who because you fucking know who No wonder the server is dead these day....

  4. +1 Even to utilize the whole "This unit needs to stop to be invisible" nerf, it's nearly impossible to stop to 0 m/s. You have to spend like 15 seconds in the air getting to that exact stopped speed. In addition offsetting it by giving it more armor doesn't make sense either. Not only is it still retarded weak but you're better off buying an Apache for cheaper more ammo. One of the most fun units in the game destroyed because other players couldn't simply shoot at it with anything. It litterly goes down in two hits from a ramjet or one hit from an AA Stinger. (May I also note how AA units were buffed even more so I really don't see why people are complaining.)
