Or maybe Misa has a mechanic to get rid of the Death Note one time when being voted on? Like one passive action.

If we do end up the 'giving it to someone trustworthy route' then that person and I can just pass it back and forth between us. Assuming there is no steal mechanic, that would keep one Death Note safe.

Chopbam is 100% trustworthy. I was trying to play coy and not reveal myself as the one who contacted him. But having the Death Note now changes things.

Nodlied's idea is much better. First of all, revealing my identity is a bad idea. Second, even if it's confiscated, Light could access it right? He was on the Task Force.

I have three options come tonight.1. I can access the Death Note, revealing extra actions and the ability to use the Death Note.
2. I can pass the Death Note to someone else.
3. I can do nothing and the Death Note will be taken from me.

Oh and my one liners aren't not paying attention to the situation. Nodlied was pushing Jeod way too hard for my liking, he doesn't need to put an actual vote on Jeod again if he just paints a big target on his back. Which seems to have worked since you're all still talking about him.

Oh okay, I understand. So I'd assume your role is sort of a "Don't let the game end too quickly" sort of thing. Like if we investigated someone and found the death note on night one it wouldn't be a done deal.

So we ignore Jeod for today. No point voting for him or anything. Night actions would take care of him if he's a threat, but he clearly isn't right now.

Would the person who wanted to meet really just come out and say it? What if you are in fact the Kira trying to lure someone in?

From what we know:
- Kira needs a Face and Name to kill.
- Kira can manipulate his victims before they die.
So it seems Kira needs more than just the name, and I'm guessing Kira can't just guess an unlimited number of times until he gets whatever the 'face' is right, or just keep guessing names from the wiki :p.
I think investigations might happen regardless of anything we do now, since Voe has cast suspicion on Jeod.
"In case of a tie between more players, the investigation will be passed on the either the person with biggest suspicion level. If there is still a tie, the first voted player will be chosen (meaning that extra votes to cause a tie will not help in the end). "To me, this says that if none of us have a vote that sticks, Jeod will be investigated.

If there's an agreement to me accessing the Death Note I'm not against it. The only extra thing that would happen to me is that if I am investigated, I will be held as a 'Kira Suspect' and any extra items I have will be confiscated. I already used one item to try and contact Chopbam, and my other item I don't really see a use for at the moment (Both are one time uses).
But I'm also not sure of any secondary effects accessing the Death Note might have.
