  1. It won't be a very long blog if we did... basically RL struck and most of the TSR team have been busy for the last few weeks. We're looking to get some stuff done soon though.
  2. Yes, there will be at some point in the future, we're waiting on some new engine features that TT are working on.
  3. Yes and yes... with a bit of skill. Generally a Grizzly will > a rookie war miner, but an elite war miner is a far more potent threat. And yes, the AI miners also get promotions if too many enemy infantry throw themselves to their deaths on its machine gun...
  4. Also works on my PC in firefox and chrome Maybe youtube is down for your area?
  5. Get a proper tablet that lets you install a decent web browser with a flash plugin. Video works fine in Firefox for Android
  6. As best I can tell TSR never had a central repository of "here are all the files" so if the person who made the file went AWOL or simply lost it that file is simply gone. Plus, of the files we DO have, we often have lots of different copies of which it's not always obvious which are the "latest" or "working" versions.
  7. 3 years ago? probably lost the source then
  8. More specifically, we need to actually find the source for whatever was shown in the blogs, I don't recall seeing it anywhere.
  9. I would but we don't actually HAVE any blue tiberium props in the LevelEdit assets... so..... *shrug*
  10. We currently don't plan to add any non RA2 units to AR, our infantry roster is quite well rounded as it is.
  11. 1: Yeah, weapons have reload animations in first person view, same as Renegade,TSR and APB 2: What do you think? 3: No, RA2 has a nicely balanced set of infantry already for an FPS, no need to start inventing new things.
  12. They're useful for resolving stalemates too, but only trained Stalemate Resolution Associates have access to them
  13. If you play in the server often enough you'll see the superweapons now and again... or feel free to ask me for a demo if you are ingame, I tend to do them in the middle of nowhere for people to watch.
  14. That is probably still a bit too fast for what we're looking for
  15. Except hitscan would make the beam invisible so you'd just take random damage and not know where the fuck it came from...
  16. I see what you did there... (1001 in binary is 9 in decimal, for those non-programmer types out there )
  17. The carryall isn't actually a drivable vehicle when it is used to drop off the mammoth
  18. One Cyborg can defend a group of 6 artilleries from a Jumpjet quite easily right now and once Artillery have something in their sights they can just sit and shoot it from just outside their own base, which is almost base to base. The map is too small for Artillery really.
  19. As stated in the blog we are focusing on making few changes per patch, but more patches overall. Hence why we limited the number of balance related changes to ~5 in this patch (MRV effectiveness, Titan damage, Jumpjet resistance, Artillery accuracy, less Hijackers). We have an internal list of balance changes we are considering which is going to be continually updated based on the balance changes made in each patch, since some changes might render other changes pointless. Actually it has always been able to repair laser turrets, its just VERY, VERY, VERY slow. Try sitting on top of one with an MRV for a few minutes and you'll see the health go up. Hence the ~700% increase in MRV effectiveness on support buildings and defences (it'll make it repair them at a more sensible pace, without making them immune to damage from the enemy)
  20. Because it wasn't a mobile unit in RA2, so it won't be a mobile unit in AR
  21. 3 actually, the allied power plant has three minor weakpoints. Each bomb can kill one weakpoint, all bombs combined do about 50% damage to the major weakpoint (hence you need two Ivans to work together to kill it). The SEAL works the same, it has two bombs, each of which kills one minor weakpoint or can be combined to do 50% damage to a major weakpoint.
  22. You're a tester NodFan, you should know what the next patch contains since you're meant to have tested it already....
