  6. It's almost as if we built our own engine. Will they be able to drastically improve W3D's efficiency because of this? Better graphics are always nice, but AFAIK it's been putting a lot of strain on the engine and pushing it beyond what it was designed to handle (mainly with textures and particle effects), resulting in more lag, lower FPS, more crashes, etc., for people with less-than-ideal hardware, even with all of TT's previous engine-improvements. Gamma 2.0 was an example of this, while certain maps (Hourglass) have become infamous for freezes and crashes. I suppose the crashes were mostly due to the memory leaks, bad rendering and whatnot. The new gfx improvements which will follow will be most likely be optional so you can still turn them off (like shaders) and still play the game vanilla style without fancy stuff.
  7. Underground units are probably the biggest thing which will make the Reborn gameplay unique from other games. Base rushes have a lot different meaning now and sitting in base watching the incoming enemies from sides won't be enough anymore Not to mention trolling infantry and squishing them from the ground...
  8. It's only logical that he uncloaks when he wants to swing the knife so he can actually aim it properly... (which would be kinda difficult when cloaked)

  13. I wish the ion storm were more "closer" to the battlefield rather than just a weather background animation, so that you could see the lightning hitting units and buildings to see what was damaged/disabled. CR looks really badass. Also lol, a drunkblarg?

  17. If you look at the size of that door on that render, it's not that big. It should have a basement, otherwise it's too easy for the Nod to take it out and use splash weapons on defenders.

  22. Very very true, they can and will take you down if your not paying attention But what if your banshee gets destroyed and you land on its back? Is there a kill zone (same as between the legs) so that this can't be abused?
  23. I suppose it will have the greatest mass so that none of the vehicles can really do anything to it, at least regarding ramming/pushing. I'm interested for the banshies though. Flying around it and on it like mosquitoes.
