  1. There is no such thing as "complete allied victory". The victory conditions for all sides were already spelled out to us. I don't think this will work, but I'm going to try something. ##vote Nodlied
  2. Unless, Killing_You is town and did receive another shot, in which we have a 56% chance of winning. Nodlied is clearly controlling the kills. You've been saying all this time you can't visit and based on the lack of kills until now, I believe that. He also wouldn't be allowed to post so much if he were out of the game. Nodlied's role was triggered on death and it was done intentionally. This Chrono revival bull shit is a bluff.
  3. Jeod, you would win if I'm wrong about Killing_You, so it doesn't make sense that you are defending him as town. We can't even lynch anybody else, nor can we fire. We're in the town stalemate we've all been saying would happen if mafia is really all unlynchable. And we're in a position that if Killing_You is town, we can't win. So why is the game still being played?
  4. Ok. But we don't know if Killing_You is actually telling the truth about the roles he grabbed, right? Does Engineer really have 100% versus buildings? And if it did, why kill Moony instead? And also why is Jeod defending him? And why is Jeod trying to attribute Killing_You visiting Jeod when Killing_You obviously would not have attempted to use claimed role on Jeod?
  5. A damaged building. Still think he was lynchable.
  6. Except that killing Nodlied has apparently allowed you to start making night kills, and it also made Killing_You look very town. You can't lose with that strategy. You either miss and get townie credit when Nodlied is lynched (and flipped) or Nodlied dies and soon you can night kill. Killing_You might be the only lynchable scum, so that would be great for him.
  7. Two problems with this. Problem one, you'll want an engineer to take out Nodlied since it's 100% against buildings and he has no dampener ability like I do. Problem two, if it was 3v3 back when KY shot Nodlied, and KY was scum, he'd have shot a townie to win the game for us. I'm the lone scum here. Problem three, ChopBam was erased from history. There are no building remains to bring him back from. You've actually just cleared up a contradiction for me, infact the one that bothered me the most. If Killing_You is mafia, you had a 100% way to win the game when it was 3 vs 3. You didn't take it, and I wondered why. I considered that you didn't notice it was possible, and the fact that you didn't mention it in your rebuttal makes this more plausible. Killing_You taking a shot carried a risk. He only had a 56% chance of actually killing the target, and shooting at a player deemed to be town might inflict a reaction that gets him lynched. No reason to go for that when you have safer options.
  8. Chaos, send Moony an invite. Moony, ask VERTi60 if you can accept the invitation and use it the same night. If you can, switch to Officer and stop Killing_You from reviving Nodlied. Alternatively, if you can't do that, take an Engineer instead. If the game doesn't end on day start, I want to see if Killing_You is full of shit. I've spent most of the day bouncing around the idea that we actually had 3 mafia and were sitting at 3 vs 3 during day 4. There are some things that would seem to contradict this, but it also would explain some other things. Killing_You, if you aren't full of shit, revive ChopBam instead.
  9. Really, we have to shoot mafia but they get a 25% miss chance bonus. Fun.
  10. Either means KY is wrong/lying about that or Jeod isn't actually a building. Oh.
  11. Chances all those shots would miss Jeod: 10% Wait, I'm confused. How does a 100% chance miss?
  12. I knew there was a reason you picked a prosecutor. Mr. Godot, you are clearly bluffing. That's my line of work, not yours. May I move the courts attention to all of Mr. Godot's testimony regarding Nodlied in this game: On Day 2, all Jeod has to say about Nodlied is that he seems particularly interested in me. It takes more than 72 hours for Jeod to make his first real mention of him. Quite some time later, Jeod and Nodlied put up a bit of a show pointing fingers at each other. Neither really pushes the other really hard, but Nodlied does make a claim that puts in Jeod in a tougher spot...only to be fail-lynched. Being lynched and having it fail obviously helped Jeod get to where he is now, so it was actually safe to call each other out like this. Pretty good strategy, as I was keeping track of who argued with who and this little spat moved me off from considering these two as a team for a while. Here is the start of where Jeod turns it up and starts actively suggesting that Nodlied be fired upon. This continues for some time. Note above that he's specifically pushing for the shoot first, lynch later, course of action. And then, finally, after Nodlied's death: Clearly, this is coming from someone who thinks "something terrible would happen if Nodlied was shot". No, putting me and Nodlied together as options to shoot was something that would benefit you either way, as Nodlied's death apparently is a countdown that ensures mafia wins if town/cult uses it's roles incorrectly and winds up with the game in stalemate. The Chronosphere repair plan was a gambit to stall the game long enough for it to come into effect. All that's left now is to remove this guy and fulfill our victory conditions, which is to remove all hostile players. Now, Jeod, it's time to declare you guilty, slam down the hammmer, and switch flavors: PICK A GOD AND PRAY!
  13. Don't abuse the Board's Voting system - don't upvote/downvote player's posts unless you are allowed from the mod
  14. That's right, I forgot Jeod's vote was after hammer. Still, I'm not sure an excuse should be accepted unless it's given in advance. We just allowed Wallywood to disrupt our game in the same way Death_Kitty did last game. I'm proposing I arm Moony with a Heavy Tank and Killing_You select another Sniper. Do not go for the Chronosphere repair plan. Jeod just posted "if something happens to him" when he should be immune to all night actions.
  15. I don't think he should have had a penalty vote at this point. In the way I imagine the system working, he should've had the penalty removed when he voted the next day. And Wallywood would have been earning the penalty up until Moony replaced him. Other than Wally, we really haven't needed the system at all. Ok, so, we better decide what to, quick. I still have a Heavy Tank I can dish out as I've been holding it. I can issue one if we agree what to do. Just keep the 2 post restriction in mind.
  16. The idea that we as town are required to shoot dead all of the mafia team is nonsense, and so is the Chronosphere revival plan. Even with the sniper we're looking at a shoot command that is only totally successful 56% of the time. A Heavy Tank will only hit 25% of the time. These are crazy low numbers to base a plan on.
  17. Having a game setup that allows the mafia to win by town exhausting it's options rather than actually failing to scum hunt is just begging for it to happen. Yeah, sure, let's make a game where the mafia (apparently) can't night kill except on rare occasion, but to balance that we and add a cult, and make it so that mafia can't be lynched so town has to use their limited supply of unreliable weapons to take them out, even if they might use them on each other or even the cult, and no guarantee that the roles that hand out class changes or refills aren't taken out early or even wind up successfully landing on town roles that don't wind up being converted to cult before they use their weapon. (e.g. Chaos didn't find a valid target until N3). That'd be a brilliant setup. It's possible for a perfect town to lose in that scenario just off of RNGesus, so don't be surprised if it happens. With the cult only having 6 roles they could convert, it's almost like the game would be designed to give all sides very little chance of winning (but someone has to eventually). That would be a terrible setup, and I don't believe VERTi60 would do it. If we do believe he would do it, then we have to take a shot a Jeod before we lynch Moony. Frankly, this call to repair Nodlied just sounds like either a way to delay the game until the Vortex comes into play, or a way for mafia to sneakily win when something goes wrong. Jeod is still the one who has placed the most pro-mafia arguments and if I cast aside the game meta argument that mafia can't be unlynchable, then he'd be the #1 suspect.
  18. While that all sounds good and all, there are some problems with that. You're operating as if nobody could disrupt this chain. I'm certain a mafia player would get in the way of this, and it doesn't matter who it is. Any role Killing_You chooses cannot be used until the next day (and therefore the night ability can't be used until the next night). So, sure, we could go and have Killing_You go pick up a investigation role, and then he'd be killied during the night now that nobody can be scouting the person doing the kill. And then the argument would be "Moony did it because he was going to be pegged as mafia" and your argument would be "I'm being framed!" Doesn't even matter if it is you or Jeod that makes the kill, the arguments would be the same. In the case that Jeod is mafia, we would lose that game. In short, we'd be in exactly the same position as we are now, with one less person. *All of this applies as long as Killing_You is not mafia. If we lynch you and you flip town, we know that one of the players we think is clear town, isn't. Or the alternative crazy land that Jeod is proposing is the solution and the game is continuing even though we already met our victory condition.
  19. Killing_You also chose to scout when we know there isn't a role that could stop him or reveal him in any way.
  20. Killing_You has done a lot of thought-following in this game, which may be coincidental (as in, thought the same things but just posted later) or reactionary to plausible arguments that help him. He pushed on Nodlied pretty hard, though. And I don't think he'd do so at this point of the game unless it would have improved his victory chances. If it was 4 vs 2 yesterday, that meant shooting the wrong person, which he effectively controlled, and either lynching another or night killing if that fails, and victory is achieved. Now he would have to work it down to 1 vs 1. 4 vs 1, shoot a townie now, 3 vs 1, lynch another if possible, 2 vs 1, night kill, win. Unless the Chrono Vortex causes him to win sooner than that, there isn't a benefit to this ploy.
  21. But there are still no nightkills. The "urgent replacement" changed nothing in the game. Also how about you let me prove my alignment somehow? You name it. I already came up with a scenario where you whould choose to not night kill in your situation. I did so myself in the KML game. I thought I was going to be investigated by as many as two cop roles, so I thought my best option was to not kill. It did wind up winning that game, though maybe more because of the ghosts than because of anything I did. As far as proving yourself, the only way really anyone has to prove themselves is to die. Everything else could be a ploy.
  22. Let's not forget that Wally was an "urgent" replacement in a game that has lacked Night Kills.
  23. Perhaps, except I believe that when the KILLER MINE LAYER role was in effect, he didn't mention Allies as a threat as I wasn't an Allied role. If the Vortex is not an aspect of Nodlied's role, then that should clear Killing_You. Top suspect is Moony and we should be able to lynch him. While my earlier analysis was that he looked town by asking questions, Nodlied wasn't exactly around to help him, so maybe he would have anyway. He also mentioned gdoc access, which I initially would have said was a scum slip, but I found that I myself actually brought that term up before. If he is scum, he's doing an amazing job, but he's kinda trapped by game logic. It doesn't really fit for it to be anyone else. I would also consider shooting Jeod to prove his role, but I'm not in favor of this action as we'd lose if I'm wrong about Killing_You. ##vote WallyMoony
