  1. I think in previous games, when an Allied player was found, there would always be "Allied Propaganda" left in the player's belongings, which would flavor-prove the alingment. This case was probably different just because the player was a building, not an infantry or vehicle.
  2. You've making it more complicated than it is. Read back on what it said: "Are there more hostiles in the base? We must find out before it's too late!" Clearly, if there weren't hostiles in the base, the game would be over. Our victory conditions would be met. There is a hostile remaining. Also "We must not stop now however. Find and lynch the remaining Allies before it's too late!"
  3. Just a Heavy Tank. That's all I can build. I'm of the opinion that this plan is crazy. I've seen VERTi60 make a flavor that sounded threatening only for it to suddenly go away once town wins. For example, there was a flavor like that a couple games ago when I was turned into the KILLER MINE LAYER. All it required was removing the last hostile player. If I was lynched, the threat would have went away. I also don't think VERTi60 would have told us about the Engineer role repairing things if we actually were supposed to figure that out on our own.
  4. Could be, but that depends on whether or not the vortex is just dramatic flavor or not.
  5. There are a couple thoughts I have about that. First, I want to address Nodlied. While it has turned out that he was a building, I'm not convinced that he was unlynchable. He was a Damaged Chronosphere and I can't think of any reason to describe the role as damaged unless this building role is different from other buildings. I think he was lynchable, in exchange for earning a unblockable and or janitor kill. Since this would lean towards buildings still being clear, this helps Jeod. I believe this Chrono Vortex is either flavor (just a way to dramatize our situation) or it actually means something, like a time limit. Perhaps we have to end the game within a certain time period of Nodlied's death, or something will happen. If this is something that was triggered on Nodlied's death, this means it is possible that mafia might actually want Nodlied to die to take advantage of that and the clear status this would afford. This would point towards Killing_You if true. Since Killing_You targeted the remaining player likely to have a NK instead of Chaos or myself to see where our handouts went. Moony is calling himself clear because he was scouted and he clearly didn't make the kill. This would be true...if someone was killed. Since there wasn't, it doesn't mean much. Indeed, I think if Moony was mafia, a good strategy would be to intentionally not kill, use the scout attempt to clear yourself and hope that is convincing enough to make town turn themselves upside down and survive through the mayhem. This is especially true if Nodlied's role is a time limit. Leaving everyone alive leaves more people unclear and more lynch targets that are not Moony. Moony also said something that I think might have been a newbie scum slip. I'm going to review the thread to see if this was ever mentioned, but I think Moony talked about something that only players who have been mafia in these forum games would know. Mafia edit: "Since Killing_You targeted the remaining player likely to have a NK instead of Chaos or myself to see where our handouts went[, this is probably untrue.]"
  6. Ok. I think we should force a no lynch here. I want to prove myself definitively as well, so make me the target. I'm going to place a vote for Moony so that I don't earn a penalty vote. But I do really want to lynch a building. I want to see what happens at night with the game as it stands. ##vote WallyMoony I have to return to work, so I can't contribute anything else. (which is part of the reason I want to stall.)
  7. VERTi60 is trolling us. This is going to be a mafia hit.
  8. I'm going to re-place my vote as my last experience posting at work left me unsure it'll work again. I'm going to go with my safe bet rather than returning to crazy land. ##vote Nodlied
  9. Because, Jeod, the alternate angle I'm considering is, "What if the Chrono Legionnaire is a role that is lynch proof or has one-time lynch proofing? He can just jump away, afterall" Also, if we fire a shot and kill the wrong person, the game will be over if we on the next death after that. And if one of the people that has a gun is mafia, that could mean insta-lose.
  10. I'm not choosing you. I don't trust you. But yeah, I imagine I can prove the role. And yes, I realize the risks involved if Nodlied is a building and someone is an Allied Building. I'm still not sold that there can be. Again, if your role isn't a lie, I'm pretty sure the Allied team is infantry only.
  11. Actually, I changed my mind. I thought of another angle, so I'll retract that for now. ##unvote I'll check back again after I sleep and/or when I'm on my break.
  12. Ok, I've decided how I want to move forward here. One thing I want to say here is that I think Issac might have hinted that he knew why Mafia wasn't making kills. He did say he knew why and that it wasn't what we thought. Could be that his role info said that mafia would not be active unless his team was defeated. Next, I want to point out that if we have a two mafia team, one of them is most likely a Spy. Not including myself and Chaos who have previously proven our roles (whether you believe that or not is up to you), only Nodlied and Moony have never fired a weapon. Given Moony's series of questions on basically everyone after he joined, I find it hard to believe he's mafia. (He'd just ask his buddy what to do, afterall) If Nodlied is the only person who can be an Allied Spy, then that is who we should try to lynch, especially because he claims building. We've never seen anything that suggests there is another building. I'd given ChopBam a new role. Chaos attempted to train several people, and Jeod even fired the weapon that he should have as a Flame Tower, but there is nothing to suggest another building present. We'll get a positive result either way if he tells the truth or not. He may not even be an Allied Spy. He might be the Chrono Legionnaire we are looking for, or whatever. The problem I'm running into is that I don't know who to go after besides Nodlied. I'm leaning towards Killing_You. Indeed, the only thing making me think otherwise is that he's been putting some focus on Nodlied himself as of late, to the point that Nodlied was actually greatly at risk of being lynched. (Which maybe doesn't matter if he's an Allied Building, but who knows~?) I don't know if I will be able to return to this thread before hammer, so I'm posting my vote now. It'll be interesting to see what happens, that's for sure. ##vote Nodlied
  13. ChopBam recieved no such thing, because I sent him the Heavy Tank at the same time as Chaos sent me the training invite.
  14. Don't start thinking APB game logic. A spy can kill a building in this game.
  15. I believe that bite action would work on anyone. The result was announced, and it blocked Nodlied just like the Guard Dog role would have. I don't think it was a day conversion, and we've seen no evidence of this continuing. Furthermore, if there was more than 1 third party left in the game, the game probably would be over by now. I explained the voting in full detail earlier. I never voted in every post in any day. I simply needed to have a higher cumulative vote total than everyone else. (Probably a nod to me suggesting the mandatory voting system). I do have a potentially powerful role, so I guess it helps balance it.
  16. I think I just did that, but I can elaborate more if you want. I'll be sitting down to post a long review tonight, but I can do a short version now. By the way, I said cumulative vote total. That means the entire game. The closest person to surpassing that was ChopBam. Yes, I have been tracking it. Currently, I'm locking you down as town. I'm not sure it's valid to do this as my only argument for doing so is game meta and I've got a lot of behavioral reasons to go after you, but I'm doing it anyway. If I lock you down as town, and myself town, and Chaos town (which I can do because he visited me), there remains only Nodlied, Killing_You, and Moony. I currently do not believe we are in a position where we would lose instantly on the next death, or it would have happened by now. So we have one miss. That means 4 vs 2. Or 3 vs 1 vs 1. If I believe your claim, then the Allies must be infantry units. Wouldn't make sense for them to be anything else. In short: primary reason for suspecting Nodlied: Didn't know how Chaos's role worked. Only claimed why after it became convenient. In short: primary reason for suspecting Killing_You: Has claimed infantry in a game that apparently must contain an allied infantry. Also claimed a tank killing role that roleblocks everything while I make tanks. Has also been eager to follow most every vote train this game. In short: primary reason for suspecting Moony: First night after his arrival resulted in the first apparent night kill, which I am interpreting as the use of a janitor role. Of course, if I don't believe that Jeod is a building as he says, that all falls apart. It would fall much better into my behavioral arguments if Jeod was not-town as he has continuously presented anti-town arguments all game. For example, Jeod is eager to kill someone who claims building or lynch someone who claims he isn't. If we are 4 vs 2, getting this wrong means a loss for us. However, holding fire and lynching someone who we think is a building will keep the game 4 vs 2, mafia will reduce it to 3 vs 2, and then we'll have a more clear picture with which to argue about.
  17. It also doesn't make sense that the Allied team would be made of anything but infantry if your role is true. I'm sitting here where I have to base my argument off of game meta, but I don't believe there is a mafia building role, so for now I have to believe Jeod. If I do, Nodlied is the prime suspect, because his claim was last and most convenient, and unproven. By the way, Killing_You, you accepted an invite from Chaos. What did it do and how do you know?
  18. Oh, you're right, I misread that. I'm not convinced that there is a building on the Allied team. However, I do wonder if someone could fake being a building.
  19. The other is that you have a second shot. Which you aren't using despite the fact you've been telling others to do so. You aren't my top suspect right now, by the way. You just keep saying things that flag my attention. For example, arguments being used against others that could easily be used on self, without mentioning self.
  20. If we're working the angle that there is a Allied Building, then that doesn't clear Jeod, either, especially since he's claimed a building from the role list and has now claimed two aspects to that role that do not match that role. Moony, a weapon shot works like this: You use your action. No matter what happens after this, you cannot do it again. Depending on the stats of the weapon, there is a dice roll to check if your weapon jams (called stuck for some reason). If it doesn't jam, he rolls again to see if you miss or hit the target. If you hit the target, you will kill the target unless the unit has something that protects him. For example, a Rifle Soldier could have protected himself the previous night, which would protect him during that day as well. Buildings do not necessarily have bullet proofing. I've never seen one that did. Could be possible if a role was handing it out.
  21. Obviously they targeted ChopBam because he was revealed as a protection role and there doesn't appear to be anyone who could stop it. Pretty cut and dry. First thing that makes perfect sense of the entire game.
  22. I agree with Jeod on the issue of shots not being fired, at least until we all have time to digest this and make a bit of sense of it.
  23. What, don't blame you for the things you say? Yeah, I'll get right on not doing that.
  24. I really don't know that, Killing_You. That's why I'm not placing votes on him because I can't make it work. I'm trying to read Jeod's statements as confirmed as anyone, but he just keeps sending all the wrong signals! I wouldn't allow a lynch at all. What is this now?
