  1. Ahh, I getcha. Anyways, here's where I'm at: We already lynched Shade, so we wouldn't really lose anything we weren't prepared to get rid of in the first place. Instead, we would gain information on his alignment (although I'm starting to believe his neutral claim, which makes me doubt iLikeToSnipe's). But part of me is thinking that this might be a trap. Like, if I do this, Shade grabs my role and I go to the dead doc. Also, does anyone else have a dragon ball? Only Louis and Irish claimed to have them yesterday.
  2. I know, but it's a few steps beyond a lynch, so maybe it's just his way of putting a second chance in our hands. Frankly, it seems like an odd mechanic for anything other than a neutral to have, unless he's TP and this is our way of stopping his win-con. Benign? I'm not familiar with how that applies to a lich. I dunno, maybe to make it easier on me? It's appreciated anyway.
  3. Frankly, I'm not entirely sure, but I didn't exactly expect to have a win-con in the first place anyway, so eh.
  4. I've dabbled in them a few times. I seem to remember one quest in Oblivion mentioned a lich that had to tie his essence to something. Or something along those lines. So, I'm fairly certain that we need to destroy this if we want him gone for good.
  5. I do, at least I'm pretty sure I do. Beginning of the night phase, I received an ornate chest. Opened it, turns out there's a beating heart inside. I can destroy it or put it back in the chest. (If I don't make a decision by the night phase, it goes back in the chest automatically.) Frankly, I'm not sure what to do. Part of me really wants to get my stab on (and since I'm neutral, I don't care about any possible consequences), but part of me wants to put it back. I'm 90% certain that stabbing it is what we need to do in order to truly kill Shade. I'll let you guys weigh in on this.
  6. Of course he would have a role like this... *sigh*
  7. I am off as well, and due to work in the morning followed by a return to filming, I won't return before hammer. As such, I'm leaving my thoughts. My current top scumread is Shade. He seems to be fixated on drawing out information and getting people lynched, moreso than usual. I firmly believe that his push on me is a ploy to gain Town points without risk of a mislynch. Aside from him, I'm also slightly suspicious of ChopBam, who has been extremely quiet. Top townreads from me are Irish, Retal, and Cat5. Anon technically fits due to circumstance, but that's more easily open to change. As for me... If you really suspect that I'm a hostile third party whose goal is to collect the dragon balls for myself, I propose an even simpler solution: Don't give me the dragon balls. Use them yourselves, it's what they're there for anyway. Frankly, I don't care that much about my win condition, largely due to how difficult it seems to be to achieve (though if you guys did surprise me by wishing left and right, that'd be just fine, especially since you would get some useful actions out of it). I am no threat to anyone. Not to town, not to scum, not to TP (if they exist), and not to the other neutral. That said, I'm willing to help Town, but I can't do that if I'm dead. Use your lynches wisely. Alright, I'll see you guys after hammer, and most likely beginning of D3. Bigger Green out.
  8. I know we just discussed mentioned not using meta as the basis of an argument, but I don't really see Anon being scum purely due to his inexperience. Not only do I have a hard time believing Jeod would throw him to the wolves as scum right out of the gate, but his vote on Cat5 feels like he just picked the name out of a hat. (Note that in the original post, he's quoting Irish's chart.)
  9. I'm glad you did. I still consider it an abysmal first outing as a GM for me.
  10. You were scum that game, and Shade was your partner.
  11. Secret Invasion. He had an ability as Dr Doom to put his castle on lockdown, roleblocking anyone who visited him that night.
  12. Okay, I've been trying to ignore this because it feels like a "mountain out of a molehill" situation, but the more you press on it, the less I like it. Is it REALLY THAT MUCH of a stretch to think that someone has a "roleblock all visitors" passive/ability? It's been in past games. I've seen it. Hell, iLikeToSnipe had such an ability in a game I MYSELF GM'ed! Nice. Pass 'em to Irish. Or have Irish pass his to you. Or you both pass them to someone else. I really don't care which.
  13. That's the vibe I've been getting as well.
  14. Perhaps there's more going on that we don't know about. Perhaps Jeod miscalculated the amount of wishes I'd be able to grant.
  15. That is correct. I did nothing.
  16. Give me a break, I'm being pushed like crazy. I was HOPING to leave that a secret/.
  17. Extra vote to help Town if I so chose? Extra voice in the discussion? If the dragon balls stop working when I die, them?
  18. For a bit, I was beginning to suspect Orange due to his fixation on my suggestion that Irish might have a passive roleblocking ability. But frankly, your behavior is far more suspicious to me. You've been doing a lot of fishing and making a lot of assumptions to try and get a lynch target, without doing a whole lot of real investigation. Yes, I know it's typical Shade behavior, but it's getting to the point of being detrimental, and I don't think it's by accident.
  19. Also, I just love how you dropped the whole thing about being cut as soon as the discussion about neutrals cropped up. Now you're just going for a "safe" or "easy" lynch. That's not a very pro-town move in my eyes, more a ploy to gain town points with low risk.
  20. For clarity's sake, my role PM does not specifically mention being alive, so I'm not entirely sure.
  21. ##vote Shade As far as I'm aware, no, but I really don't like where you're going with this.
  22. Well, Shade seems to be doing a good job of that.
