Guest Posted April 28, 2015 Report Posted April 28, 2015 Hang on, i've seen this somewhere before? This design rings a bell. More screenies. 0 Quote
wolf Posted April 30, 2015 Author Report Posted April 30, 2015 hmmm, i think it's the first time this map has been shown to the public. 0 Quote
Raptor29aa Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 Seems to be coming along nicely, one question though... I see a refinery , but don't see a wf so what would happen if the harvester died? (Or will there be one?) 0 Quote
Synaesthesia Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 Those trees are way too large compared to those military structures. 0 Quote
GeneralCamo Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 Those military buildings are really small compared to actual military buildings... or even the Cybergooch references:See that blue thing? That's a human model for scaling. Not a problem in his map, problem with our buildings. 0 Quote
DeviousDave Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 Well that would be too huge Awesome. I took the liberty of correcting that for you it's pretty cool seeing a to scale version of the barracks, I always assumed that they were to scale ingame and that most of the building was underground out of the way of Ion Storms. 0 Quote
GeneralCamo Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 Oh no... we agreed that it was WAY too huge... but we also did agree that the current building is too small anyway. Right now it is a kill box, and makes it either hard to repair it or hard to hack it. 0 Quote
Synaesthesia Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 It's not just the Barracks. It's basically every structure I see in that image. A power plant should logically be larger than a church, and most certainly should be taller than a tree. 0 Quote
Bayonetta Posted May 2, 2015 Report Posted May 2, 2015 Well that would be too huge. Wouldn't hurt having the barracks being a big bigger. It feels so small like im in a submarine 0 Quote
Guest Posted May 6, 2015 Report Posted May 6, 2015 Just don't make the barracks too big if it's something which you're going to enhance. For the scale in that image, looks like something better found in a campaign. Like Renegade, you have the small buildings for multiplayer, and huge buildings during the missions, with self contained kitchens, beds, gyms, etc. 0 Quote
delta Posted May 6, 2015 Report Posted May 6, 2015 Wouldn't hurt having the barracks being a big bigger. It feels so small like im in a submarine It was especially terrible a while ago whenever you had to fight a spy in the barracks. And it didn't help that spies could (due to lag?) stab you at 3-4 arms' distance. 0 Quote
