  1. Sorry I’ll clarify. Some units have binoculars, and when using binoculars the message “binocular recon detected” pops up. It would be interesting if a tank icon would temporarily appear when looking at an enemy tank. (Or symbol for boat or aircraft) It was a suggestion that would parallel the spy plane idea. In no way was I suggesting anything about altering the engineer markers system.

  5. GDI Bots on Vile Facility and I missed it. (I haven’t been Nod on this bots map before) I’ll have to check in more often to catch a round.
  6. This has been the craziest last Two Weeks for me. 5000+ people descended upon an area of forest only 7,400 mi^2 (Or ~12,000km^2). My town was full of out of state license plates. Yep it even made news headlines Lookup Tonto National Forest Party ^Too early in the year for lights and no, that is not a Christmas Tree The mariachi music played long into the night (many of my friends told me, I decided sleep was more important than being in the woods at a party) Surprisingly a lot of the trash has been cleaned up.   9. Let’s see the Nod one has 360 turning turret, and is amphibious (can repair ships, big advantage late game) I disagree on the health nerf. The vehicle always had a lot of health and firepower. What has made this vehicle purchased and used is when the speed was buffed. It used to move as slow as the wolverine and now it’s a cheap armored jackrabbit. (I used to counter this unit by kiteing around it, now it’s not possible).

  11. Hey I like the Orca Truck!- The unit allows for ammo and repair... although a slightly faster repair rate would make this unit more useful. As it Is currently it will repair light damage by the time the ammo is refilled... not the most useful if you still have to fly to an SD. Some maps don't have an aircraft refill and repair pad. (Whenever playing on Cold Valley as GDI I buy one, it pays off by taking the time normally used for SD between attacks) - Buff Unit by increasing repair rate - Yes! a BIGGER BOOM!!! I would love to one shot a group of power suit Sydney units in a small cave with one healer! Yes Please!!! "OH HELL NAH" -Will Smith (weapon pickups add hope, stealth suits add the frustration, Vet system adds incentive, Ob & AGT guns where supposed to add a base defense/tank killer mid game, Crates just add random spicy bits (like the Viceriod crate, death crate, refill crate, and health crate... etc) MAPS: Orca Heights: No Def, except a few Pillboxes, and Laser Turrets. Also add a Tib Gen to both sides outer walls (keep it spicy) Ulake: Remove War Factory AGT, but add Vehicle access to both Hills by GDI Base Great Wall: I know remake: Just needs a few Tib Gens placed in the village area to offset the need for the Forg Cave (By the Way, the opponent can capture the wall's defenses outside the wall and turn them on the base, fun times) Cold Valley: Remove AGT, but add a turret to Forgotten SD, the pill goes down almost too fast (Nod early campsite for artillery) Mt Pass: Needs a secondary attack route, if not for Vehicles then for infantry (foot path is a joke, small bit of lag/strafe and watery death). Also give both sides a Forgotten Hub like Under.

Since this is a suggestion thread: how about giving the super tank a couple extra meters of range? since the manual turret is in the middle and the majority of tanks can outrange it by simply backing up and hitting its front. Every time I fight one I just aim for the front tip and backup. (They return fire but it disappears short every time) (it’s also the main reason I don’t buy it)
  14. APB could have an AI unit that does an attack of zero damage which is a bark sound that just follows spies around?
  15. Nod could use a range buff for the super tank. Too many small fast long range GDI vehicles makes it hard to hold ground. mostly it’s the T-62 that out performs the Supertank I feel. And yes Nod light tank needs some love, maybe some more armor
  16. The tutorials they have here at W3Dhub are a great starting place. One big piece of help that is sadly not mentioned in any tutorial is when porting a mesh from an editor to LeveL Editor program with a high vertex or was it poly count will not load in the Level Editor program. I tried at level design on and off for years no understanding why some meshes would load and other wouldn’t until someone explained that bit of detail to me. (for me half the battle is getting created material into the level editor)
  17. I noticed that Soviets had dogs in RA1 and then later both Soviets and Allies had dogs in RA2 Strangely after the tiberian meteor hits and tiberian dawn rolls around no dogs. Later in tiberian sun this creature emerges the tiberian fiend. I think it is possible that the large numbers of dogs became mutants? This is Lore not cannon, but I think it answers the question
  18. A Queen Ant 🐜 building... while I do like the idea of a large Tesla Queen, I feel a Giant Queen wouldn’t be scary (then again maybe I just lack imagination) I could see the larva thing working as a bot mechanic for a Co-Op map.
  19. After careful consideration and reading the posts, I will say this. Sometimes you are on a team with paste eaters (example a guy that shoots at a nuke beacon for 30 seconds... yes this happened last Wednesday). But that’s the coin toss. Whenever someone interferes with that system, then it must be decided is it balanced/fair? Swapping with someone who is willing keeps balance and is fair, but changing the team count isn’t. (Luck keeps a game interesting) As far as skill gaps go, I have learned a lot over time playing with skilled players. I’ve also taught unskilled players tips and tricks. What I am trying to say is does every player have this ability? And Is it fair to all in game? PS (I am still willing to give out my sapper and pioneer tips and tricks)
  20. It doesn’t have a #mm laser cannon, just a spitfire laser chaingun same stats as the Nod infantry. I was referring to a laser cannon when I said “mm laser gun” And sure keep the 500$ classic, I was just saying Nod has 4 APC machine gun type vehicles (and yes I am including the laser chaingun) As for repeating weapons there are so many missiles used across multiple tanks I was giving examples of weapons types for both Nona and BDM chassis; No need to hit the panic button. Lastly, no need to name call with n00b. It's not classy.
  21. A few Ideas for Nod 1.) Remove the 500$ BRDM 30.cal -why because BDRM-2 is 50$ cheaper has a better machine gun and is an APC also. (Yet the seats would have to be upped from 3 to 6) -Or remove the BDRM-2 (It’s weird to have two cheap APCs with mostly the same armor) 2.) the BMD-1 would be a great counter for an mrls if it either had A) more speed or B) better range or C) better armor. 3) After removing the 500$ BRDM (Or BDRM-2) the empty slot can go toward creating a new tank. -A.) BMD TOW Or M40 Or twin missile launcher? -B.) Nona 75mm laser gun Or twin 115mm Gun Or 155mm Cannon (By the way since the Nona and BMD already have models it wouldn’t be hard to invent a new tank. Also GDI got an APC revamp why can’t Nod?)
  22. Not so fast, I posted about over-nerfing a month ago. When I stated that newbie or “overpowered weapons” are important in creating fair imbalance. As in the answer is not remove the fun from that tank, but should be raise up a countermeasure that is equally as fun. (Also Threve agrees with you too)
  23. I disagree mrls are fine, Nod simply has no good water tanks. I think instead of nerf a fun unit, why not give Nod an equally as fun water tank. (Besides most people asking for nerfs ask for a range nerf. Mostly because Mrls armor is not very strong. Although if the range gets shortened it will lose its usefulness on land as a base defense killer and lose it’s reputation on water as an anti-aircraft unit) I know what you’re thinking what about speed? it flips too much on land at full speed for a nerf to affect its balance. -So the best Nod has on the water at the moment is the AMX, the problem with this tank is that the mrls can outmaneuver the slow projectile. (By the way if the Mrls armor is gone it can one hit them if you hit the missile pod... if you can pull off that shot) -Thus- I see two options 1) Increase the projectile velocity -Or- 2) create an amphibious tank that has a rail cannon/Laser able to hit the Mrls at range... because range is the only advantage the Mrls has.
