  3. So I deleted all the folders from 3.3.0 and 3.4.0...do I still need the 3.5.0 folders, or is it already installed and I can get rid of that too?
  4. Hmm, so I was installing the update yesterday and noticed it was several GB. The launcher does get rid of the files from the previous version, right? If not, is there somewhere I can go to clean up old files?
  5. So, crouch no longer makes you invisible on radar...and only standing still does that?

Also, not sure why this wasn't done decades ago, as it gives the campaign a whole lot more replayability.

  9. I drive up with a Tesla Tank, zap Rodan, and manage to drive him off. But then as I back up, I accidentally go over a steep cliff and my Tesla Tank is flipped over. Help!

  12. Was playing RA1 again, and for the first time ever I saw an attack dog lunge at an enemy soldier, and miss. There was still the bloody animation where the dog landed, because I guess that's what the "Dogjaw" weapon does, but it occurred some distance away from where the actual target was.
  13. Do we really want to start talking about ammo types in a game series where it takes a million tank rounds to kill a single soldier?

So, Starcraft: Brood War is usually at the top of most "Best RTS game" lists...and the reason for that is because Blizzard put in a lot of effort to constantly patch and update the game to keep it balanced, right? Does that mean any RTS could become just as good if the developers give it enough support and updates? Or maybe if modders did the same?

  16. Funnily enough, I've been playing World of Tanks, and I managed to grind my way up to the T-54. When I look at the tank from the top-down, it really looks to me like the Allied medium tank sprite.
  17. Is there actually a consistent tank model in the cutscenes that we can infer to be the light tank?
  18. Wait that walker assault cutscene was from vanilla TS correct? Or at least part of it? Then how come there's Juggernauts and music from Firestorm? Unless they already had the expansion pack stuff planned out even before the core game was released...
  19. Wait so what exactly are the changes that are going into this? I just figured that Beta was perfectly playable right off the bat, besides some n00b-unfriendly stuff like ships getting stuck in the naval yard.
  20. I think what would be nice is if they had a "classic mode" where everything is the same as before, and a "revamped mode" where they tweak a bunch of units to make them more useful.
  21. Nah, in RA1 tanks were just so much faster relative to everything else. In TD, a few Orcas can easily deal out a ton of damage to tanks because tanks are slow. But in RA1 Longbows and Migs will barely scratch a tank as long as it's moving.
  22. It might be kinda weird though...in TD you've got tanks that move around really slowly, but in RA1 they're the speed of recon bikes...
  23. Might've posted this somewhere before, but is it possible to hold the aim steady with the Titan? Or is that something that isn't fixable?
