delta
A while back, the US Navy successfully launched and landed a drone aircraft from an aircraft carrier in a series of tests. Drones from aircraft carriers? I guess I don't have to feel bad anymore when I send waves of carrier planes flying into Yuri's gatling cannons. It seems someone's also unoffically retconned the carrier planes to be drones on the C&C wiki. Those Nod artillery shells in vanilla Tiberian Sun that magically home in on their targets? We've got those too now! And now...fighter jets with frickin' laser beams.
moonsense715
Heh, I always imagined the Aircraft Carrier hornets to be remote controlled anyway. And that's how we'll implement them in AR too.
devilslayersbane
While GPS guided shells are somewhat new, however laser guided shells Have been a thing since Desert Storm in the '90s.

Isaac The Madd
You mean the stealth tank being developed in Poland, right now it is only radar invisible.
devilslayersbane
There's also Quantum Stealth, though the technology behind that is either highly classified or doesn't exist. The Canadian company that developed it stated that the U.S. Army cancelled it's request for invisible uniforms, and their website is very basic (though, I guess that's not inherently damning).
