  1. Kind of a minor issue, but can we get the "I'm taking heavy fire" voices fixed so that they don't say it when you take very minor damage? Just earlier I jumped from the second floor of Construction Yard, took 1 point of damage, and my character started screaming about where the hell the reinforcements were.

Many of us, who played or still play Tiberian Sun may remember stumbling across ruined GDI or Nod structures from Tiberian Dawn, most notably the base near Sarajevo in Nod's 5th mission. http://cnc.wikia.com/wiki/File:Tiberian_Sun_Beta_Picture_18.jpg I've been thinking: Now that W3D Hub's Tiberium is under development, maybe some of that game's building models could be reused as ruined versions in Tiberian Sun Reborn. They could on one hand serve as eye-candy, either totally abandoned or taken by the Forgotten or tiberian lifeforms. Some damaged (but repairable) or ruined TD-era vehicles could be scattered throughout those bases, at least the Mammoth MK I. On the other hand, they could also be used for objective or coop maps. For example missions, in which you have to gain or keep control of an abandoned TD-era base or protect or drive off a salvage team. "Time bomb" (similar to "Industrial One") or "Rain in the Night 2" could be used for those maps, since they're based on TD-songs. I remember that about 6 or so years ago, there was a map for Reborn in development, in which the ruined Nod temple near Sarajevo played an important role. At this moment, I'm not sure whether those ruined building should have ruined interiors or no interiors at all. What do you think about this?

SInce the player can switch to control the bot manually, I think all that would be necessary would be follow the controlling clone, aggressive (attack nearest enemy), and guard (stand in position and attack any that get in range). The bots are really just cannon fodder, and for the guard mode, early detection (place it at a base entrance on guard, would be ntofied if it enters combat or gets killed).

  5. We actually have them all in the FTP. And they increment in version number. I just finished uploading my fixed versions of the nod artillery, with a few upgrades as well. EDIT: Tested it out in-game.. the wheels turn but it does not fix the "gliding to the left" problem. EDIT2: Ahh, figured out the REAL problem. The right side has 2 fake wheels, while the left only has 1. It's for sure fixed now.

  6. Umagons C4 is only useful against vehicles. Also, if one of the wheels on the arty isn't turning (thus probably missing a wheel bone) that explains why it keeps pulling to the left when trying to drive in a straight line... I did wonder what caused that.

  7. That would be nice, I like that. Or just have it do this automagically anyways. Or make its behaviour change on button press. Agressive, defensive, follow me, stand still. Other than that, you can also switch to it to do sophisticated control.
