    A bit of an aside, it was time change here this weekened, and also Verti said this day was 45 mins shorter, so can anyone give me aprox how long until hammer it actually is?

    Possibly. I've been maintaining for awhile now that it's about to go down. Call me paranoid, but the whole Cat 5 thing makes me think he has a really well hidden plan, but that's a charitable OOC reading. I don't really have anything solid, other than the fact that my analysis *should* be a lot more solid at this point and it isn't, meaning I'm missing some very big things still, potentially dangerous things. The thing with Light has been mostly because for all previous days I'd been working under the assumption Light could strike any of us down at will, he just didn't will it, so Day 5, while perhaps not being as explosive as it could been, has been a rather large but subtle perspective shift.

    Also I guess the more interesting point: I doubt Light himself has a Death Note at this very instant, which would be quite the development.

    Things are out of control regarding how many Death Notes the players have. I think we're going to see a 'correction' very soon

    There have been three confirmed notes or note-like objects (if one is fake) in player hands, with the possibility of off-screen light have or not having one. Having four would be a bit too much, and I don't suspect Light would go very long without keeping one close to him. This entire time I've presented a view of extreme proliferation of the Death Note, and with the things that have come out on this day it seems that even my extreme estimate was rather conservative. I just can't help but think that if this all this the case there's not some rubber band bringing us back. I guess, to be fair, considering this is my second postulation on the subject after the first was wrong that doesn't exactly lend extra credibility to my idea though.

    Well, I suppose for the record, I agree with some of your conclusions, but my trust in you, or specifically lack thereof, isn't the reasoning I use to reach those conclusions.

    Voe, I think Choppy's on the up and up, and to be fair, you did volunteer to me that if it came to getting a notebook you'd volunteer to be on the chopping block to get it. Granted, you're free to change your mind at every time, but of the three options I see us having, this is one. We could investigate myself or KY. The utility of both, from an outside perspective I imagine. Personally, I have larger reason to suspect KY, but that has a lot to do with knowing who I am myself so I can't exactly share that confidence with everyone else. I'm actually pretty interested to see who KY is, but not enough so to derail everything. I'd be interested to hear Nod talk about their nice chat they had (and hear what KY thinks of Nod, too) That leaves getting the notebook from you, Voe, which has decent logical backing, but the downside of outing you. You've role claimed, which isn't technically enough for people to kill maybe as it isn't 'official', but at the same time the likes of FRAYDO hasn't been offed so it's not too bad apparently... We could also go after other notebooks, but if Jeod is remotely telling the truth things are getting tricky.

    For what it's worth, I'm inclined to believe him slightly more (still don't trust him) considering he outsourced his explanation for being Sidoh when he called for theories on it and then pulled the 'that's exactly right!' card.

    It's possible, it wasn't mentioned in the day post. As far as we know we still have it, but I guess it could have been swiped and not mentioned...

    I'm still very concerned with his statement about 'Sidoh' taking one back, seeing as we have more notes on our hands now than ever?

    I'd also like to comment that I really got a kick out of the no less than 3 people who asked in game today what the changes were. Could tell you noticed as well

    Possible. We did discuss fakes, I suppose. The question would then be who has a real and who has a fake. Maybe the one sitting in lockup is a fake, that'd be something... I guess we don't really have much to go on there either.

    I will say, I assumed Light had a Death Note. If three have been handed out, well, I'm right about there being three, but I guess he doesn't have one. If he does, that'd be ridiculous.

    This is the key question IMO. I don't think it's Voe as he's too town, but who was holding onto Misa's crap for her while she was in jail? Sidoh has taken a notebook? (baring the fact that earlier we settled on you being Sidoh, I'll ignore that for that now) If we're tossing around the original idea of there being three notes with such obvious now I can't help but think there's going to be a power play soon... just don't know what it is...

    If you touched a real one... canonically... you'd be 'activated'.... But that logic does make sense and seems pro town....

    Forgive the triple post, too, but I will vouch for Voe being task force, according to my reasoning at least. I don't have solid proof on him, but I don't think he knows enough canon to fake the role he's claimed.

    Got ninjaed there. I am in contact with Chop. We've not been on at the same time yet so nothing much. I did investigate, and I did do some other things, and lets just say I didn't get the expected outcomes, but I'm not willing to reveal exactly what at this moment. Nothing I found out is exactly critical so I taking my time to share won't hamper us, and I WILL tell, just after others have given their thoughts and I might perhaps gleam some extra knowledge from that before revealing. In solidarity with the wrongly investigated task member, I will also make sure FRAYDO gets let out of the box fully and can meet next time. ##propose trust FRAYDO 68 (To get me to an even number )

    If a Death Note is locked up, Chop passed to someone else, this would be a third Death Note (making me right). I have no idea why Voe would have it of all people...
