  1. The only one I was interested in was the announcement for the next Metro game.
  2. View File Deep Red and Green Bullet Tracers This is a texture pack that changes the colors of the bullet tracers used in Red Alert: A Path Beyond. Allied tracers are now green, while Soviet tracers are a deeper, more vibrant red - Pretty much a throwback to the old tracer colors as seen in Beta/NW and parts of Gamma. 4. >stole kill from totd >hax Damn straight. I even had a good hack before the steal, too!
  5. A few more screenshots from the shenanigans yesterday:
  6. "We made it disappear, and reappear...but with very little control - we lost some men." - Einstein
  7. So FRAYDO, Testament and I were trying to recreate some RA1 cutscenes, of course things will get out of hand quickly...
  8. Seems buying a new modem didn't fix my connection issues. In the meantime, let me play in peace. K?

  9. Yep, the shaking was pretty bad then. Imagine being a soviet being attacked by a light tank whose shell screenshake was as bad as the current arty's.
  10. I once played a game of APB a while ago where it was just me vs him, and he/she/it said "Sorry, I don't play with losers" and left the game, just because I'm the only other player in the server. I'm pretty sure it's because of the fit he/she/it had when I was wrecking him in rebarn a few years earlier, and ended up getting kicked by someone else as a result of his/her/their excess salt. It's ironic, because a move/gesture like that coming from somebody calling someone else a loser is just poor show.
  11. Because. How else can I do my shoutouts on his next APB madnesses? (I was the one who said that in his 15.5 video )
  12. Texturepack has been updated! Now ships with the Classic Colors Yak 9P! You can download this update here.
  13. jesus crust that scaling... I wonder what Linus or any of the other crew has to say if they ever saw you playing APB
  14. So I have been playing A Path Beyond more frequently these past few weeks, and I have been receiving multiple remarks from other players telling me that I am some "laghacker" and/or cheater whenever I'm ingame. The most notable of this can be seen in one of Totd's APB madness videos where he kills me, and I managed to posthumously kill him a couple seconds after the fact. So here's how my end of things go since I started playing more frequently again: For the past couple of weeks, my modem would spontaneously reset itself multiple times during a given 24-hour period, regardless of the time of day. These spontaneous resets cause me to go offline anywhere between 1 minute and half an hour at worst. In between these resets, my connection while playing APB would still be stable enough to stay online, but not unstable enough to get completely disconnected from the game. The end result, is that whatever gameplay I see gets sent in "bursts" of data, where every moving object appears to be moonwalking, then disappears/reappears in a totally different area, as if my connection is (literally) using chrono technology on everything. I am actively trying to figure out what's causing my modem to reset at random, and the closest possibility I can come up with right now is that the power signal to my modem is sub-optimal. I'm also getting my ISP's technician to check on my line signal outside my house soon, provided I have ample days off from work to properly schedule an appointment. Below is a video of one of my "bad lag" days. It's business as usual between Voe, FRAYDO, and myself playing APB, and Totd also makes an appearance (even on teamspeak): Call me what you will, but this is the stuff I have to deal with while playing APB. I do apologize in advance to anybody and everybody who thinks that I'm some dirty player of the game as a result of this problem I'm having. Except Voe. He sux
  15. If you're a nurse or monitor technician working in a hospital's cardiac telemetry unit, this soundpack is (or isn't if you're that alarm-fatigued) for you! This soundpack changes a lot of the EVA "X under attack" notifications in APB to use the sounds made by a cardiac monitoring machine, particularly from General Electric's series of cardiac monitoring machines. A video demo exists below: Grab the soundpack here! INSTALLATION Download the RAR and unpack its contents into the following directory:
  16. Looks like the phase tank sounds are blocked by the server anti-cheat. Pushwall says that the block isn't part of a manual blacklist for cheats, and the gameserver is hardcoded to detect them upon joining. The download link has been updated with the phase tank sounds removed, but if you downloaded the soundpack before the change, simply delete the "s_phasetank_*" sounds.
  17. This soundpack converts a lot of the engine start and idle sounds of the ground vehicles in Red Alert: A Path Beyond into (almost) perfect loops of Retrowave/Synthwave tracks. The vehicles affected by this soundpack use the following songs: Light Tank: "Telecom" by Power Glove Medium Tank: "Raining Steel" by Perturbator Heavy Tank: "Built to Kill" by Lazerhawk Mammoth Tank: "Death Squad" by Perturbator Phase Tank: "Flightwave" by Com Truise Tesla Tank (and MRJ): "Chaos" by Lazerhawk APC (and Minelayer): "Access Point" by Stoned Presidents Artillery: "Rampage" by Kavinsky Ranger (and Soviet Ranger): "Silver Screen Cruising" by Robert Parker V2 Launcher (and Ore Truck, MGG, special/prop trucks)**: "King of the Streets" by Lazerhawk Supply Truck (and Demo Truck): "Resemblance in Machine" by Phaserland ** Note: The pitch factor has been adjusted in alignment with the V2 Launcher. Depending on the vehicle you are driving, the music pitch/speed may be higher or lower than normal. You must drive at the vehicle's top speed to be able to listen to the loop as you normally would the actual music track. Otherwise, enjoy the sound of warble-y music DOWNLOAD THE SOUNDPACK HERE! Modified 2017/05/13: Removed phase tank engine sounds due to server anti-cheat detection. INSTALLATION Download and open the RAR, and place the files in the following directory:

  20. Have you gone over your file output settings? You should have an option to set your recordings to output as mp4: Then again, it's been ages since I used WMM, and I don't remember whether it can support mp4...
  21. I use Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) as an all-purpose recording software. The tradeoff with OBS is that you need to play with the settings a lot if you want to have good quality recordings, and have a pretty good system to boot. I also have a YT channel, too. It's primarily muh games channel, and other shenanigans.
  22. Pretty cool that you used a WoT sound for the arty. I'm using the one used on the 122mm guns before WG overhauled them to the current sounds...
