So I've been thinking about this for a while now and whilst we can probably do ranks, deciding what those ranks should be would be tricky; since you can't have different ranks for different forums because that's not how IPB works. It must be global, I've been thinking of a drop down box in the profile settings that will allow you to choose a unit as your favourite and show it off to everyone. That way we can have units from all of the games without leaning a bias towards any game in particular. CNCNZ does something similar by letting you pick your favourite C&c game and displaying it on your profile, so something similar here would be pretty fun to have. We do have a lot of other stuff on our plate right now though.

  6. View File Classic Beta Style APB hud This file replaces your HUD layout into the days of A Path Beyond Beta. If you ever miss the old hud or want some memories from beta this is it. For those of you who do not know, the radar is a lot more simplified which means if you take this game seriously do not install this hud as it does not show - The star where the enemy base is - The more smaller new layout detailed Icons - Red boxes when you lock unto a target with the Rocket Launcher (Currently being tested to update) However, it does show for the most part everything else except some more specialized details and is what I have been using all of Delta. I personally have not had a problem with it since. I am still attempting to "Modernize" the HUD to Delta standards and will release when things are tested and updated. Hopefully, I can get it to a point where this HUD has the same functionality. ALL credit goes to the original production team behind APB who developed the game and also the HUD.   8. Fissure was before infantry could sprint (Now there are way too many instances of CQC) But yea I am going to step up (again with a new computer this time) and start small. I will design an infantry only map based off of a joke Zunie once said "Wouldn't it be cool to kick a player off a mountain." Then he went on for a while on how it was impossible to create hand to hand combat and knock back. So I will just create a mountain map. with gems in the middle (as so to answer the question why the allies and soviets would fight over a mountain peak). I will do a more formal post once I get this idea fully baked. (and yes volkovs will die too from falling... maybe I'll have to learn how to create a death zone... also I know next to nothing about scripts in LE... who knows maybe it will be the next christmas map).
