Yeah I was at the bookstore one time and wound up reading through one of the Blackest Night comics. Not sure if it was part of the main story or some side spinoff material or something. I also found a bunch of assorted comics at my local library, which I may or may not get around to depending on if I have the time.
Also...what's up with the New 52 in DC comics? It's supposed to be a reboot of the continuity, but I think it references stuff that happened in Blackest Night which was before the reboot? How does that work?

I don't really know enough about comics to pick a favorite super hero. I've only been able to read a couple of either DC or Marvel, and trying to find a place to begin is a daunting task. So I'll stick with Volkov. And if anyone has a problem with that, they can bite my shiny cyborg ass.
I never read the comics either...I only got into superheroes from the various animated series they showed on TV. That, and the Marvel films.

I always thought the power hierarchy for the Avengers went: Thor > Hulk >>> Iron Man >> Captain America.
Also, Bucky didn't get the super serum treatment, did he? He's just a regular human, right?

In that sense, I guess all the current maps are spiritual successors, since they have a similar layout or idea to the originals, but in many other ways are completely different.Considering you are making a Fjord-inspired spiritual successor map, I assume it will go under a new name to avoid confusion? Have you thought about what to call it?
My opinion is that it should just be called Fjord or Fjords. Consider the new Zama, and when players wanted old Zama they called it ClassicZama.What if there's more than two iterations of a map?
It appears I'm a little too late, but I always thought it's funny that our namesake map, A Path Beyond, isn't in the rotation. That's one that could really use remake.
I seem to recall the issue with A Path Beyond being too large or something? Anyway, when was the last time we had this map...0.9935?

Once again NOT FUNNY AT ALL.
If I may ask, why wasn't it funny? It is generally known that APB will never have the cruiser. We decided on the joke to make fun of this, took an ancient RA2 Aegis Cruiser model and put it ingame. I'm honestly suprised some people actually fell for it.
Yeah, Pushwall's always been here saying "No cruiser, no cruiser, it can't be done", and then all the sudden there's a cruiser...hmm, very suspicious...

I think I also mentioned during that round, that the Aegis model looks more like something out of Total Annihilation.
If you guys have a prettier Aegis cruiser model already done for AR, why not use that for the April Fools prank instead?

Cruisers are in the game now! Due to their overwhelming power they are currently Tech Level 5, meaning they are on Coastal Influence only. Currently we do not have an icon for them and they are temporarily using the RA cruiser icon, so let's try and get some epic scenes of it to turn into a proper icon! 
I can't tell if this is an April Fool's joke or not...because it's mixed in with a whole bunch of other normal stuff.

Bigfoot for RA1, along with Hell March.
For TD, it's Line of Fire because it played in that one "retrieve the nuclear crate" mission on the N64 version of C&C which I had rented from Blockbuster for a few days. Later when I bought the actual PC version (I played RA1 before TD) I went through the playlist to find that song, along with another one which turned out to be Warfare (sometimes called Full Stop?). Act on Instinct is nice too, but I think I'd put it below those other two.
Funny thing about the Klepacki songs for me is, I usually had one or two that I liked, and never touched the rest. Then when I played APB and TSR, I hear these songs that seem to fit in with the gameplay perfectly...and then when I go back to RA1, look through the playlist, and *gasp*
there are APB songs in my Red Alert! It still doesn't feel fitting when I hear Vector or Bog while playing RA1...0 -

Could have tried to find a spot to ram/overtake, jump out and stick a C4 on it. That's what I did on Pipeline recently. Looks like there wouldn't have been enough time for that here though
Yeah I encountered him near the barbed wire fence near Allied SD. I tried driving in close enough for a ram and/or C4 but there was already too much distance between us. Also when we met other, I heard the detonation beep sequence begin, only for him to realize soon that I was just a supply truck. In hindsight I probably should have just called in the demo to my team and let them deal with it (they didn't
) and then just go on with minesweeping, which was why I was out there to begin with...but I ended up chasing him back to our base sorta just for the laughs and rage.1 -

So, do I need to read Dune, and then play the RTS games (I assume it's just C&C gameplay in another setting?), in order to get what's going on here?
