This is pretty much why we went for NoLynch last time. Not to kill discussion, but to give us the maximum number of cop reports possible on D2, which was the critical day. It also made Mafia have a harder time lying about their reports and faking who they were. We lost last time mostly because our naive cop lied about their report. That being said, the fact that there's 3 cop reports tied to Voe is interesting to say the least. I'm going to put my money where my mouth is, but I might be swayed into a Voe lynch. ##vote NoLynch

Last time, we opted for NoLynch in order to give us the broadest possible sample of cop reports for D2. Is that something that you guys think is worth exploring?

I mean, everything worked out just fine the first time we played. It was a really fun puzzle to put together, and Mafia managed to win by presenting a strong argument. I don't see what's wrong with it. Although I am happy to see how close we are to getting this one started. it was a great setup, and I can't wait to see how it pans out this time around.

It's alright. It made for a fun mystery while it lasted. And the setup seems like a good one for a larger/more active player group. Since we have so few active players, I kind of want to run/play in the 5-person setup Jeod had a while ago (that got eaten by forum updates literally the day after it ended). Gonna eat dinner now, though, so apologies for late responses.

I literally figured it out ten minutes ago. You evading the NK and reporting me as Town when you were more suspicious of Orange? Didn't sit right with me. But of course, it doesn't really matter since the game is over.

I can't say that I'm comfortable enough with the idea of a Mafia Dayvig, but it's the only option that makes sense (other than me lying and playing the long con, but I'm not going to push that for obvious reasons). Frankly, though, I think our fate might be sealed unless something miraculous happens. Honestly, though, Mojo being AFK shouldn't really be a deciding factor. There has to be something we're missing.

Trust me, I would be following Shade's lead under vocal protest. I have opinions, but I'm also a team player. I'll have to give this more thought, but I have some theories. Will have to leave it at that for now, though.

Let's go down the list, shall we? OrangeP47- I really, really don't agree with how you've handled your role, but I thoroughly doubt you're a Mafia Dayvig. You're naughty town, but town nonetheless, in my eyes. Jeod- Solid town read. His questioning definitely felt like he was coming from a town angle, and I agree with his decision to go for nolynch given the circumstances. Shade939- Being shade. Focusing on mechanics and balance from an alternate universe perspective, assuming what people are thinking, etc... Mojoman- Inactive, need to see more. NodFan- Inactive, need to see more. ChopBam- I don't like his responses so far. His reasoning for voting you was just "I don't like your vibes," without the substance of Jeod. He's also pushing hard on you under the assumption that you're a Mafia Dayvig, which I've already explained why I don't agree with. It feels like he's pushing too much on an "easy lynch" as opposed to putting some thought into whether or not the risk to town is worth it.

No, I'm here, don't worry. I was just playing Zero Hour. So, where do we go from Orange daykilling a townie? Worst case scenario, we mislynch a townie, leaving us down 2 town at the end of D1. Assuming 2 scum (following the usual logic of 25% of players = scum), that puts us at 4v2, and then if the NK isn't stopped, we're at 3v2 at the start of D2. AKA: Instant MYLO, Just Add Water. Now, is there a possibility that Orange is a Mafia "signaling" his partner? Maybe, but it's very slim. I don't think Mafia would lash out like that, because there's too much risk involved. Risk of hitting your partner. Risk of gaining unwanted attention of town. Based on all of that, I don't think Orange is a scum dayvig, and I don't feel comfortable risking a mislynch at this juncture. ##vote nolynch

I thought I made my distaste at the whole affair clear. I don't know who else to suggest. Thing is, though, Orange claimed vig, and he backed it up. Again, I don't like it, but unless you're going to try and argue that he's a Mafia Dayvig in an 8-player non-CYOR setup (which is an argument that skirts dangerously close to WIFOM territory, and I really don't have the energy to argue against that right now), the only thing that makes sense is that he's a town day vig that opened fire, and hit a townie. It sucks, but we have to move on, because I'd really like to try and avoid a retribution lynch, which will put us at two dead town on D1 and barely anything to go on.
