I'll give my two cents here, but I'll leave the bulk of answering to the project heads. First off, I want to thank you for approaching this with the level of respect and friendliness that you did. I'm more than happy to have a discussion about this with you. Simply put, while it can feel like the game has been stagnant as far as developing goes, this isn't quite true. AR has gone through quite a number of changes just in the time that W3D Hub has existed, much less the length of time that I've been with the team, or even the full life of the project. These aren't small changes either; the unit roster has been tweaked several times, and there's been quite a few mechanics implemented, toyed with, and proposed throughout the years. There's also the unspoken fact that APB Delta was quite a game changer. No longer does it feel right to release a game that is more-or-less a reskinned version of Renegade. It has to know what it is, show a lot of polish, and truly feel like a legitimate game in it's own right. We really want these games to knock your socks off when they come out- and trust me, they will.

Thinking quickly, I hop into a Chinook with some friends, and the race is on! Just barely lowering the crane in time, we grab OWA's truck, lift it off of the ground, and set it down gently. Our teams work to de-slip the truck and get OWA some medical help. We then fly off into the sunset, the ducks happy that they are safe. Just then, a nearby mountain explodes, and something crawls out- the monstrous pterosaur, Rodan! The hungry kaiju apparently has decided that he wants me and my helicopter as a snack, and we can't out run him! Help!

Just to play devil's advocate for a second, @Kickmofo would you be at least open to locking your vehicle in future situations like this? It would prevent misunderstandings in the future.

Honeslty, ECW can still be fun without players. It's one of the things I like about it.

At the very least, @Kaskins sounds like these spotlights could use some collision.

Just going to leave my 2 credits here: I've seen him rack up these kinds of kills with snipers in APB, which come with a significant bullet drop that would cause most triggerbots to miss the head, if not entirely. So he's either hacking with an algorithm that would make our code team blush, or he's just really good. My money's on the latter.

I guess I can go ahead and send something. I can't promise that I'll be as active as usual, though, since real life is starting to pick back up.

@MAMMOTHTANK please stay on topic. Those might be interesting. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a KV-2 added to the Forgotten War Factory arsenal, just for pure meme factor without being totally useless.

Literally pinged me as I was opening the thread. I'll give it some thought. I guess it depends on if it's a duel-based setup or not. (I'm honestly not sure based on the OP). I'll come back later with a decision, but feel free to ping me if you need players once the sign up date is reached.

They might have been removed from one particular class, but considering I got blown up by a few in a match half an hour ago, I can assure you that they still exist.

I don't think the poll is the issue. Towards the bottom, you see more evidence of him stealing and selling a teammate's vehicle.

That was a fun time. I'll admit, I had it wrong the whole time. Totally down for a themeless CYOR... though I wonder how Shade will handle the balancing. You kind of implied that you had other ideas in the design doc I left a minor comment a while ago. I'll see you there, then.

Here's where I stand: Right now, I think Orange is scum. I don't like his line of reasoning, as it seems oriented around making his decisions seem right rather than helping town. iLTS, on the other hand, has been very helpful, and his logic seems very pro-Town. That being said, I am sticking to the plan. Tomorrow will be the final debate. I'm very interested in the results.

Thing is, if Voe was Mafia, lynching him would've been a D1 win, so we had to focus our thinking on what would happen if he flipped Town. Answer: No new information. You still would have been either Sane or Naive, and iLikeToSnipe would've still been either Insane or Paranoid. We didn't need a flip, we needed more reports.

I'm still not sold on how. What information did we gain from his death that we didn't from just assuming he was Town? What specific conflicts were resolved? You haven't given direct answers, just vague explanations and deflections. Also, why would scum!KY kill Voe N1 instead of Chop, who got a N0 Mafia report on me? For all we knew at the time, he could've been sane.

I have to bed after posting this, so I won't see the response until tomorrow, but I just have one question. Please elaborate. How was Voe dying bad for Mafia?
