[GAME OVER - TOWN WINS]Steins;Gate - Quantum Mafia

As I read over the thread and do some thinking, I am not sure which to be more concerned about: the FGL that has gained access to a time machine, or the possibility of a Gold/Metal Upa in the hands of the Organization.

I don't see how the gold/metal upas would be terribly effective for the Organization (except to gain a plastic upa). The plastic ones seem like they're more useful since it can help ensure that they are part of the Organization if they want to be. The gold/metal ones don't allow them a kill action. Mason is the only annoying one since it can allow the Organization to join the real FGL. If anything, I'd say the upas help Town more. After all, with the ability to track, watch, or turn yourself into a lightning rod, it makes lying about who visited who a lot harder.

Thanks for that insight into Upa actions. I was gunning for a Gold Upa myself to examine it and mull over potential actions a member of an Organization could take. Knowing that they are not granted a kill action is reassuring, though that Mason action could be a concern. Without a doubt their plan would be to infiltrate a FGL and use a time machine to their benefit.

Here are all the actions you get.

Tracker - See the target of this player's standard night action (investigate or kill)
Watcher - See who visits this player with their standard night action (investigate or kill)
Mason - If this player is a possible leader of a Future Gadget Lab, join it
Visit - Drop your Upa at your target, revealing your presence to your target
Lightning Rod - Actions targeting this player will target you instead

The Mason one is annoying but there are ways around it, like if the FGL leader is confirmed, he can actually deny entrance or even remove any member they want to, so it's not actually that powerful. You just gotta know which person to decline or remove.

I'm glad you're talking. I guess all the other cool kids are doing all the talking in their FGL docs, and doing cool lab things like microwaving bananas. ;_;

Let's take a look back then at the Upa count Jeod brought up (with a slight edit).

UPA COUNT NIGHT 1

Jeod - 2 gold upas

Kam - 1 metal, 1 gold

Irish - 1 plastic, 1 gold

Orange - 1 gold

CK - 1 metal

Mojoman - 1 metal

Misa, Nodlied FRAYDO, ChopBam - 1 plastic each

because I'm still alive, guys. o/

Anyway, let's assume Jeod is Organization. With his 2 Gold Upas, and already having been in an FGL, he could use the Mason action and is then apart of 3 FGLs. With no confirmed Lab leaders, this is a dangerous possibility unless Jeod speaks up of what he used his Upas for.

Ideally, would others like to share what Upa actions they have taken?

Noteworthy changes, Misa was actually a part of Orange's and Mojo's FGL, but she claimed to not be in a group effort to avoid attention form the Organization. As of right now Jeod has 1 metal and 1 plastic upa.

Well lol.

So KY and I aren't exactly cooperating (mostly because he's MIA most of the time), but apparently we both chose to target Orange last night.

Now we are in a Schrodinger's lab which is both #1 and #6 at the same time. No new people, no nothing.

Also currently at 90-18 and Vanilla Town status.

Well no matter what you have as a result, it's never certain until you're locked in for reading steiner. And I was wondering your Day 1 chance because if your Day 1 chance was 82-15, but now it's 90-18, that means your AC went up from Nod's death, which means that peoples AC isn't lowered by the greatest OC, it's lowered by each individual RC.

Seems so. In fact...

So 91% AC might confirm my intial idea that AC is reduced by the RC of each visiting player rather than the highest OC among the visiting players.

After all, scum has to be an active Rounder to kill, not just an Org member.

But then this brings the question. How did FRAYDO lose 9% when visited by you, TIM?

Hm...maybe I'm wrong. Because OP47 was targeted by both you and KY, but only dropped 10% in AC when your guys' added OC is 38%. Divide it by 2 and that mean's he should've dropped down to 61% AC, but if only KY targeted him he would be at 70% AC if my conjecture is correct.

But if that's so, another issue is even if you add up everyone who targeted Kmod's OC/2 (RC) it only equals 29% which would only put him at 71%. Even if my OC was double like everbody else's (still iffy on Misa), it'd only equal 34% to put him at 66%.
