If there's a viable alternative, I'm all for it.  I don't think Shade or Irish are worth it though, at this juncture.  Shade, unfortunately, is being town read, and Irish is just a roll of the dice.

I'm at least more inclined to let you test the submerged method though, although it might be to just test out game mechanics more than anything else at this point.

While I don't want to steal the spotlight, if people suspect me, it's probably prudent to switch this Jeod-test into an Orange-test.  Granted, as I've said, this wouldn't 100% prove I'm an attack sub, more like 80%, but hopefully it's an actual point to be made in my favor.

Usually when there's a tie we RNG who dies.... though looking at the start post this one doesn't actually specify.

It is specified in the second rule post though that it is RNG based as expected.

Unless we're deliberately voting no lynch, which we can do.  We do it quite often, actually, but in experienced mafia circles it's generally seen as a "Bad thing" TM.

Generally, don't want the game to last too long. And it's the most effective means of investigating players, it's basically the one guaranteed way to find out a players role.

but on a D1 scenario like this when half the game is inactive I really fear what could happen

Generally a delay is only helpful if we have a lot of power roles that can work their magic at night.  That doesn't really apply to a game like this where we're all pretty set units.  In fact, given what we know, a delay would probably help allies more than soviets.
