  3. As an engineer I ran up to clear some mines on Complex. I was elated when I got lucky in destroying two phase tanks with one of their own AT mines... It's sometimes fun to just go out and repair your own arties in the field. What's not so expected though is when they defeat you and the arty with an organized Ore Truck Sandwich.

  4. Some of you might know that I develop video games for the U.S. Army. Here's a sampling of some of the work I've created: F-16C Falcon/Viper (modeled, UVed, textured, animated, rigged) inside of my UDK environment designed for I/ITSEC 2014 here in Orlando. F/A-18E Super Hornet (modeled, UVed, textured, animated, rigged) inside of my quick mockup of Nellis Air Force Base for I/ITSEC 2014. Uses models from other members of my team. The environment (terrain modeling and texture painting) was developed by me, but the structures and terrain textures (with the exception of the taxiway markings) are work that my team developed. I've got a variety of ~20,000 polygon game-quality models and low-poly Renegade-like models I can put up here if anyone is interested. The more I dig through my old office work the more likely it is that I'll update my portfolio. Which, of course, I haven't touched since 2011.

    Exactly what the title says it is; the classic Renegade Boink sound for use in APB (and TSR... or any Renegade mod for that matter! The sound name is hard coded! ) Read the included readme for install instructions (also pasted below!) Installation Instructions: 1. Extract the archive into your Game\Data folder (So the sound file should be in "..\W3D Hub\games\apb-release\data" or similar) 2. Boot the game and kill someone! 3. ??? 4. Boink!   6. I made some weapon sounds by remixing sound effects from various games, to be used in another project of mine, and decided to test them in APB. Also a few vehicle sounds as a bonus. What do you think of 'em?

  7. Hey guys, Something crossed my mind this morning which made me create this thread, and that is, where did the talented level creators from the broader W3D community go to? Since Delta launched I've been the sole person to do the occasional level contribution. In past versions of the game, we had a number of people contributing content, so I'd like to figure out what caused this, and perhaps I can assist in improving things on this front. Is it a problem with the tools? The lack of available knowledge? Or something else? Community created content has always been a big part of past APB releases, and learning why we lost so much of it with Delta is something that might benefit all W3D Hub project teams as a learning point. So if you're familiar with content creation using W3D tools and related tools, vote in the poll for the items which stop you from contributing. And if you've never created content before, then tell me why not!

  8. If EA joined w3dhub I would say hell no why because they destroyed command and conquer and after they have finished with joining us they would say ha ha we take over your company and we destory command and conquer and we finished it so bye bye wedhub or w3dhub

I hated every-single CNC4 vehicle design, everything looked cheap and plastic and nothing looked like it "could" work in real life, man, those Tiberian sun Renders and even the in-game stuff were amazing, even a lot of the CNC3 concept and renders down to the stuff in-game looked functional. Cool stuff though bro
