    Neither is giving everyone superweapon beacons or honestly any of our past special events. This is why they are events and not permanent.

    The plan is to upgrade to IPB v4... THEN see about a downloads section. Course this takes a bit since it needs to be tested to make sure it does not completely break the forums. Note that I am NOT a texture artist. I can work with 3d modeling programs, but give me photoshop and I will get lost. I would prefer the actual 2d artists to deal with that. I CAN however add a damaged texture to the structure, and that would suffice.

    I would prefer not to mess with too many textures honestly. Maybe some dirt on the outside is good enough. Remember this isn't my work to be mucking around with. These were created by Synaesthesia for an old project of his (a prototype "Tiberium" in a map, Noddingham), granted to us for use in our mods.

    That might be a good idea for an interim actually. My plan revolves around an ENTIRE playable forgotten faction in some maps. With their full arsenal available. As for the tech building... I already have a good idea of what it could be.

    Yes... but having it on only Nod would cause significant issues, mainly for balance reasons and the fact that only Nod has them, so everyone wants Nod. Give them to both factions, and no-one complains.

    I recommend not doing it anyway until I get their arsenal in-game. Right now, only the Mammoth Tank and a few infantry units exist. Later on I will be putting in modified civilian vehicles and some more Tiberian Dawn and possibly even some Red Alert vehicles. Speaking of which... buildable mammoth tanks for GDI and Nod.

    As an update: I got involved in the Band at my College, since I needed an elective that wasn't boring and/or was overqualified for. The director put me in the R&B band as a Drum Kit player... and I have been doing a decent job at it too. First performance is in November, so this will be fun...

    I have massive plans for a Forgotten faction. That's going to take a while though, so it won't happen anytime soon.

    Not by default. 5.x might change things. As it is, it does fully support normal maps.

    Its an IR lamp according to Synaesthesia so it shouldn't be visible...

    IT will look much better along with the new [CENSORED] and the normal map support 5.x is implementing, hence why I decided against putting it in this version.

    The servers are a bit empty as people are preparing for the game night. Generally people don't like to play a 10 player game when they know the 50 player game is just around the corner.

    I just sent you something a bit special. I'm looking for something to replace the background of our private development space, so I do hope to see some good results.

    Look at real life though. Most AA Rockets are High-Explosive (or some variation on that), and would do near-zero damage to most modern vehicles thanks to composite armor, spall liners, and ERA. Of course that stuff is WAY too heavy to put on an aircraft. The rockets that actually do some damage are HEAT missiles, which would actually do something to tanks.
