  1. Yeah, that's what I mean. The scripts guys didn't tie the shaders to that shaders slider, so even with it set to lowest like you do, it doesn't seem to do anything, when it should at the lowest setting just flat out disable the gamma shaders.
  2. I'm pretty surprised y'all didn't tie the new shaders to the shader detail slider at all. Especially since everybody isn't fortunate enough to have a computer that can handle the shaders well.
  3. I have to say, I appreciate the removal of the newbie traps. Also this entire changelog looks good and I'm looking forward to seeing the effect on Stormy Valley and Coastal Influence.

  5. The problem is, people were claiming they were hacked despite using long, unique to teamviewer passwords *and* two factor authentication. Which, if they're not lying, means it had to be something more.
  6. RA_Fissure_Flares - spawn as engineers and only engies allowed. All engies spawn with a free flare. Barracks are immune to flares but not to engie C4.

Might be worth uninstalling it till things clear up.
  8. On the flip side, the allied barracks being so exposed makes it trivial for the soviets to take it down, and once it's down, well, Hinds can reign supreme due to their main counter being out of commission.

  12. it's a lag issue, the game thinks you're further away from the terminal than you are for a few ticks, or a few of your ammo ticks just "miss" somehow.

  14. I'm more fond of the St Louis, tbh. 14 6in guns, 18 3in guns, 12 3-pounders. Talk about a broadside! As compared to only 8 6inch guns on your pretty little aurora (yes I know the aurora had like 24 3in guns shush)

  17. Maybe make a big cluster of trees along the very center of the plateau to act as a visible indication of the projectile blockers, with infantry access on either side?

  19. you can just do what renegade co-op does which is just fill every available space with an endless amount of ramjet snipers and flame tanks that works wonderfully... /sarcasm
  20. It's almost guaranteed it'd be too much work for almost no return, for a number of reasons. Especially since, what percentage of the players of APB are gonna even have VR capable computers any time soon?
  21. also of interest on APB the map's size is that back in .9935 everything was a hell of a lot shorter range (or at least that's how it feels when I've gone to dig through the old fanmaps lately). Bullet weapons especially. Which would make the dynamic a hell of a lot different. It'd still need a bt of a shrink, and I like chopbam's idea of putting the bases a bit up the coast from the corners, but overall it'd be a hell of a lot more workable now than in .9935. Or Beta. Also I believe Tunnel APB the map was a beta thing but it was never on the official server or anything. It got made and then... promptly forgotten?

  24. you should really throw that tree on the bug tracker then. Pushwall likes it when bugs are on that thing instead of scattered across the forums, easy to miss or forget.
