I believe it changes in response to our actions, which probably sounds like "no, duh", but there is more to it. With this reasoning, this explains my Innocent status, Mojoman's Suspicious status, and Retaliation's Hostile status. As I have done nothing deemed hostile, I am Innocent. Verti is investigated that same day. Jeod died, and according to Verti's claim of activation, he should have become Jeod #2 then. Upon investigation that day, he was yet to morph into the carbon copy of the late Jeod. So somewhere between N4 and D5 Verti just magically became Jeod #2?

As you say that I picture you as an angry pirate, Retal. You are awfully violent as of late, although I should not really be too surprised. We are Task Force after all and we're both searching for evidence in our own underhanded ways. I switch targets overnight to redirect potential threats, you whack people over the head and send them to the infirmary. (There actually is no infirmary, I just wake up on the floor dazed and confused). In any case, you and I both want evidence above all. As for Verti, well I just do not know. He's much too eager for the rise in World Tension for my comfort. While he did publicly state he was coming after my Spyglass, I had a feeling his bloodlust would have actually led him to swipe Mojoman's gun. I feel he would have been more than ready to pull the trigger, despite what that may do for World Tension. Add to that his enthusiasm for lynches and we are inching ever closer to global war. If I didn't know any better, I would believe he was aiming for the 100% WT win. 2 grenade throws in the middle of the day, stealing items from your teammates, and pushing for lynches over investigations; Verti you're more of a Warmonger than you're making me out to be! If you want my take on the Day, I see no issue in proceeding with the investigation on Killing_You. Are you going to tell me you didn't drop to Innocent when you had rid yourself of your respawning grenade? Or have you been Suspicious since Day 1?

Other than my status for today reading as Innocent, and the fact that I always have been any other day save for the investigation that uncovered evidence on me that I was unaware of and subsequently got me locked up, I suppose I can't say much to prove my innocence. My defense, if it would please the court, is that I have taken no hostile actions ever. Only since World Tension hit 40% was my target switch ability made available to use. Before then I had no actions to take other than ##Pass and until recently acquiring the Spyglass I had no other items in my possession. As the investigation appears to be coming my way, you will know this to be true. As a result of my target switch on Category5, I also have the other known piece of evidence as I have mentioned earlier. I know this as I have a new section in my role PM that reads "Carries evidence: Yes" (that should answer also Retaliation's earlier question regarding that aspect). Of course, I likely have not swayed you to understand that I am truly Innocent. Regardless, you have my statement.

I like that Orange, despite being found hostile and outright jailed, still has a 5% chance of being Town. Like maybe you jailed the wrong person.
