Just wow... This is the 1st, 2nd, 3rd 4th time he's done this (Team Hampering) with an abundance of bans, mutes, warnings, qkicks and the lot. He will be 24hr kicked by me and muted for a week everytime me and him are in the same game together, unless an IA Admin says otherwise.

Good Evening all. As the holidays come near and most of us will be busy, I just wanted to say MERRY CHRISTMAS!! It wouldn't be Christmas of course without some gifts for those of us who were naughty and nice. If you're on the nicer side, feel free to download some of Santa's gifts to W3DHub! 1. C&C Renegade Ringtones Are you requesting more firepower, do you want to just Defend the Refinery! or tell those kids to Stay off my crops every time you get a text from someone IRL or a notification? Look no more. Here we have a soundpack of assorted C&C Renegade Sounds converted into Iphone ringtone format to use. Over 50 tones to choose from! (To install these tones to a phone, I used this tutorial.) 2. Ugly Christmas Sweater Nod Harvester Nod was incredibly evil this year (Shocker) and I'm sure so were you. As such they've been banished by Santa to don an ugly Christmas harvester. Enjoy the artisan Elf crafted, Ridged lines and christmas colors with a less evil pink/red theme surrounding the vehicle. This thing really is an ugly Xmas Harv. 3. Modified IA Reticle Last gift for all the good people is a custom reticle still in design/trial by me. Due to the many vehicles having a long range (but also large shell drop). This reticle should help to judge where to fire at long range with artillery or tanks. The lines moving to the left on the reticle also help provide a little bit of compensation for moving targets. Used with great effect on rocket launchers and long range firing tanks. However, with the original design left in.. it helps anyone using it to be familiar with the reticle without having to readjust their whole aiming process or have something extremely alien. Subject to redesign later on. While it's still a whiles away, I know we will all be busy doing our thing. To everyone here on W3DHub, Discord, Game Servers and beyond. The problem with dynamite was that is was a $1,000 to constantly suicide with a respectable amount of armor unto a structure with no announcement or hint a dynamite was planted (mind you two dynamites could be planted). This is vastly different than a $5,600 credit sucide rush that is announced to the whole server. While money is very plentiful on maps, there is still a $4,600 credit difference. Yeah, no. How would this work on small maps. What would be the range for this AI dog? Would there be a limit on how many could be built? What would be the price? If the limit was one or two to prevent people from spamming this who would be in charge to build this crucial structure?

Alot to digest but some important things to take away from this. - A spy costs $3,200 + $2,000 beacon + (Usually) $500 credit support + $200 to $800 vehicle/aircraft. At best case the cost is $5,200 or at worst it's $6,500. This is a huge investment in a unit that can be killed by 1-2 proxie mines. But this isn't about a unit that can/can't survive proxy mines. - The problem of this unit comes up when a game is usually lower player count or most notably the map is large. The most criminal of such being Vile_Facitly, Ridge Warfare, Winter_Assualt. The reason of this is that there is alot of open space to sneak through, unable to be countered. The beacons are planted outside or on top of a building. The biggest problem which i can agree with is that... 20% of players are too far away to do anything, 10% in field without a repair unit and if they went back they would be to late, 10% of players in the field are close enough but don't care, 10% of players literally don't know what the fuck is going on, 20% go to chase after the beacon and die from the person defending where upon they (The spy) steals a Vehicle to cover it or use an AK-107, 30% disarm the beacon or it's too late. - While I have vouched for you with the above. Letting the enemy team amass that many credits, is your team's fault and this is what happens... but at the same time, vile facility (new) and Ridge_warfare are so large that money is nearly unlimited. Only worsened by having Tib upgrade, multiple Harvs, Forg Silo and Earning $ through repairs. ----------- So what can we take away from all of this above. It's not just the unit's fault (Which some of it is..) but it is mainly the maps fault for allowing such money (in my opinion) to be garnished. Instead however of changing the map design for less $ (which would fuck up buying Upgrades, being able to harv etc.) I think the spy could do with these changes. ------------------ - No AK-107 or being able to pick up weapons. You want to blow up a building, use a pistol/whatever and go hard. Also AK-107 is a 1 Hit Headhunter machine gun. - Spies cannot drive vehicles. This would encourage ethier teamwork more, or make it so that a spy would have to travel across the field allowing your team a chance to get him. If a spy runs to the enemy base, this also decreases the frequency that they (the spies) infiltrate along with wasting more time for the person who is a spy. (This means they have to weigh more if it's really worth it.) - No armor to start out with. No chance to survive when/if detected. - Spy be put at 4000 Credits. - Cannot swim - No Stealth Suits. (I believe MSA's detect spies in Stealth Suits however.. so picking one up late game might actually be a bad thing depending on how you look at it.) All of the above means that spy can still be in-game and it gives Nod a more fair chance to catch them. Also the map design (and 30,000 things else attached with changing a map) are not affected. The spy should still be in-game and it's a great unit. However, if it uses the above it's not nerfed to stupidity and allows a more fair chance to be detected. In regards to my quote, I don't support it being the same thing as you're trying to point out. There is a difference between silent 1000 credit (veh and char.) Dynamite Drive by's and a Beacon being announced to the whole server.

Thank you for the feedback. I do agree, although it should be noted that as well that the Tunguska can fire AA missiles that have a great effect on Light Armor. I am also happy to say that the SIDAM has been revised and currently being tested for proper balance to ensure the values made for it are correct.

I'm sorry, but I legitimately do not understand anything of what you just said. I think at the end you're comparing the Ezekiel to the Mammoth 36 inch tank. The Mammoth 36 Inch Tank is a 6,000 Credit Mammoth Tank against a Stealth Tank that originally (was supposed to have) lower armor. Of course it's going to take a while to kill it.

Kaskins wants to have the unit removed temp. to rework it last I recently heard. However it should be noted it's one of the only units that can take on a Zepplin, Hind or Banshee reliably.

Yikes. Stealth Tanks were incredibly overpowered for being 800 credits. For 800 credits you get a unit that - Has decent armor - Can retreat because it's stealthed - Very fast - Missiles typically tracked tanks 4/5 times. - Unguided missiles could shoot at a further range allowing you to knock out almost any defence without retaliation. - Fast speed, turret rotation and stealth ability means you can run over infantry, shoot the rear of tanks and retreat. Or just hit the back of a tank, hop out with your infantry and kill said enemy. All for 800 credits. They can still do alot of these things, however the speed on them were slowed down a bit along with the turret turn radius. So to do these things will require a little more risk/reward factor along with deciding when the best moment to strike is instead of doing so almost halfway across the map then running into cover. Ezekiel Wheel Stealth Tanks were a long time coming. I think you, me and everyone else could see that coming. Before the patch they could - Unload all their missiles (4) in 1 second. Combine this with heat seeking, high damage, uber fast reload time for the missiles and it's deadly. It didn't stop there, the missiles that were tracking went half the length of the map with almost no hope to outrun them. Add to the mix that a missile will still hit you even when it's 50 feet away on your screen and you can see how this would be frustrating. Any threat the ezekiel encountered could be killed at extremely long range or ran away from. The low profile also allows it not to get hit above a hill or mountain.. The fatness of the unit really is irrelevant because most maps are wide open and it has tracking on the missiles anyways so. O yeah, pre patch this unit could 1-2 hit kill any GDI Aircraft from halfway across the map. I don't' know about the phase tank because i never use it. I can see however why it would be frustrating to someone that religiously uses these units having them nerfed. But I can assure you it's infinitely more frustrating for players going against said units before the patch.

Battlemax bought the vehicle which therefor entitles him to do as he pleases with it. So long as he is not purposely deploying it in front of the harvester, (to which A.I. cannot navigate around it) he is free to use the vehicle how he wants. By your logic, if someone deployed a Challenger Stage II (Long range AT Gun) and you couldn't use it to knock out a stealth tank that blew up your War Factory because it was locked to that person then they should be kicked for Team Hampering. Or someone locked a Repair Vehicle that you couldn't use to repair your tank so they should be kicked because you could have used your full health tank to save the building. The possibilities are endless which is why only 1 vehicle is allowed to be !locked at a time. As you'll see in the photos below, I asked (presumably you. I cannot tell because you keep switching your name.) if you bought the vehicle to which you responded "Logged to memory". I still don't understand what that means or if you're trying to threaten something.. I don't care regardless. What I do care about is ensuring people have a playing experience based on what they would like to do with what they bought. As I said before, if someone does what you said it's a dick move but it's still their vehicle. This has been confirmed with KTFF internally that it's ok what battlemax did even though it is a bit shitty (Just don't donate him in the future). If KTFF or any other IA Admin reverse their decision then i'll gladly punish people who do this. However as it stands, this is what the rules are and allow. As such what I will enforce. In the future I recommend purchasing a 350 Credit Repair Vehicle yourself instead of using others.

It's a double edged sword as doing that will make it take longer for people to leave to the high combat area. If i'm not mistaken, shooting the actual doors on a building does not hurt it. So if anyone is planning on making the barracks barricaded, then please don't block the doors. It's just a dick move and makes people unable to respond to attackers.

Oh hell yeah, glitch me harder daddy. I was still able to exit through the rear doors and jump in the sandbags to leave the front so i left it how it was. If alot of people complain about it/becomes a problem then I take action to remove such things. In terms of being able to do that, i thought the same thing (that there was a limit to how close). It's possible that on this map the settings aren't implemented correctly to prevent this.. in which case (as kaskins has said many times) a hot fix is in progress along with tweaks to the map. Due to the obvious size of the map, it's a bit difficult to stamp everything out, but new problems are being reported everyday (and much appreciated by the IA Team). For anyone reading here, please do not do this. It's annoying.

An approved and custom HUD for Interim Apex. Quite a popular HUD in the renegade but becoming harder and harder to find. This HUD was originally not created by me. I took some of the Old APB HUD Metal Edges and implemented it around the corners of the layout. Features include - Better Radar Layout with less intrusive background - Darker GDI Gold and Nod Red Text to help display better on your screen. Also brighter Mutant Green displays on radar to see Viceroids better. - Custom Icons to help display Vehicles, Buildings, Infantry and Beacons better. - The numbering of your Armor is displayed more clearly - Metal Edging alongside the HUD Layout to help better define the box sectors. To install, simply follow these instructions. You're going to take the files from the folder and drop them into your IA DATA folder. Navigation there is as follows. This PC>Computer R (C:)>Program Files (x86)>W3Dhub>Games>ia-release>IAFiles>InterimApex When Interim Apex is updated. You will have to redownload this and install it again. This is due to the update replacing all the files over again. I apologize for the inconvenience. (Big thanks to MoltenJam for enabling the text for weapons and Dblaney1 for fixing it up so it actually works with the IA UI!)- 1 review

I like spies. For $3,200 credits + 2,000 Ion Cannon + Scrapping a $400 vehicle and calling in 500 credit support (usually). I believe the risk is worth it. Nod currently have Stealth Tank, Ezikels, Stealth Black Hands and Stealth Helicopters. Spies are easily killed by 2 mines. Typically when I’m a spy, some tech just bum rushes me and ethier burn damages me to death with his repair gun or throws a proxie mine into my face/area killing me. Also nice is running into a mine on a building and having $5,600 going down the drain. A spy is a big risk with a very high reward respectively. On the new map bike facility I can see your point as it’s very easy to sneak in with one constantly. However, I think this map needs a raise in mine limits to counter that as you have a massive real estate in your base and the tunnels. Of course there are some areas in the tunnels you can place mines to.

I know which one you're talking of. Unfortunately as me and KTFF have seen, the RGH community has gone mainly underground and though not as predominant are still being updated and passed around, bypassing 4.0+ Scripts. True. However you must first aim and while in scope, you'll then re stealth after a couple of seconds. Me and KTFF recreated what happened and both of us were unable to see what you were talking about in that map. Also nothing was mentioned here about that happening in this situation. Yeah. Currently a problem but on our (IA) side and not the players for using it. Still in debate on how to fix it without having to remove the feature for everything else not stealth'd. -

The time has been affirmed by KTFF. You've been very respectful however so i'll meet in the middle. I might watch some videos of yours and take off a month for a total of 4. Should I do so I will private message you. Going forward, these are the terms - You record every moment you play for 5 months on the IA server. If I request footage from a time that you played in this time frame you'll give it to me no questions asked. (I have also stated that I will consider 4 months in the near future. Upon doing so I will private message you.) - You must keep the footage from your gameplay for 3 days. (This means if it's November 13th and I ask for a clip from November 12th. You should have it. If it's Nov 13th and I ask for a clip from November 1st, it's my fault and you don't need to have it/you can delete it if you want so your computer doesn't get massively full.) (It has been previously recommended you consider streaming as it saves the video for 14 days and you don't have to worry about uploading it on youtube, if you choose this option you will send me the link to your stream or if you'd like you can post it here in this topic.) (If you choose to record and upload it's been recommended to record in 360p instead of 1440p to save space. 360p and above has been accepted by me (threve). - No weird shenanigans if i ask for a video or a specific moment from a match. This means no "editing" or "cutting" of clips to mask up a time period. No editing to skip a match you were in or anything of the sort. - After 5 Months are up (April 5th, 2020) (If 4 months is established in the future it will be March 5th, 2020). You have a clean slate and are no longer required to fulfill any of this anymore. However if I ask for a video of you playing on April 1st, 2020 (Or March 1st, 2020 should a month be taken off) and you don't have it. You realize this fails to complete your end of the deal. - If I ask for a video you have 5 days to produce the video/match requested. The time begins from when I ask you and you acknowledge. The requests from me will be sent from W3DHub.com if I send anything. I will also notify you in-game if I see you. - Failure to fulfill any of these requirements/ you cannot produce the asked video (unless special circumstances arise like Server Crash, Corrupted Video) will result in the return of a Ban with full understanding. - Acceptance of this is not a plea deal. Any harassment towards Guard55 on this topic will be met with punishment. (Accordingly if someone asks you (Guard55) and you'd like to talk to them feel free to. However if you tell them to stop or people are bothering you that is where I step in.) If it is difficult to remember to record every match, I recommend setting a tag on yourself using !tagself something to help you remember or setting a !setjoin.
